So I caught up on this story a few days ago, but it took me a few days to leave a reply. And a reply is a must! Because you've written this so beautifully!

I think out of all the stories out there, this one shocked me the most. I did not expect Dev to not only get Raavi pregnant but also leave her like this. I'm trying to think how can this all work out? How can everyone create a life for themselves when so much is at stake and when they all share a relationship with each other. And I'm at a standstill. Let that be a compliment to you because it's got be hooked and wondering what's going to happen. Poor Raavi! And I'm really hoping Shiva doesn't ever disappoint like Dev has ❤.

PART- 4

Shiva entered pandya niwas only to find Dev sleeping peacefully. Shiva looked at him for a while thinking how can he sleep like this after destroying someone's else dream?

He talked him on the shoulder.

" Uth...tujhse baat Karni hai" shiva said

" Sone de na.." Dev muttered sleepily

Shiva glanced at krish sleeping on another cot.to avoid waking him up, he put a hand on Devs mouth an said in a straight voice

" Chup Chap mere Saath chal "

Dev looked at him and knew something was up.he did not protest and went behind him.they reached the backyard of the house.

" Sach bata Dev" he said crossing his arms.

" Kaun SA sach mere Bhai?" Dev asked trying to act unaware.

" Aise Kitne sach hai tere jo humein nahi pata? Raavi Ka sach Dev." Shiva said keeping his anger in control.

" Maa ne Kaha tha na yeh baat khatam ho chuki hai.tujhe Samajh nahi aya? Mujhe iss baare Mai koi baat nahi Karni." Dev shouted and was about to leave when shiva held him by the collar.

" Tujhe kya Lagta hai? yeh baat kitne Dino tak chupa Sakta hai Tu? Kal ko pure Somnath ko pata Chal jayega ki raavi pregnant hain aur sab jaante hai ki Tu Uske Saath ghumta hai..Bachpan se chahti hai Woh tujhe Dev " he finished and left his collar pushing him a step backwards.

Dev knew that raavi and shiva had a connection deper than the hate he claimed to have for her.even when raavi used to be with him she talked about shiva a lot.she was a lot more invested in his life than one should be, given Their equation.

Dev used the one connection which could trigger shiva.

" Tab ki tab Dekh lenge mere bhai.waise bhi Woh mamikibehenkibeti hai.tu to usse Bachpan se nafrat karta hai na?maami ne hamare parivaar ke Saath Jo kiya bhul Gaya Tu? Tujhe to Khush Hona chahiye Uski iss halaat par...itni hamdardi kyu? " Dev said putting a hand on shiva's shoulder.

Shiva was furious.what nonsense was his brother Talking about? No girl deserves what Dev did with her chipkali.

" Yeh kya bakwaas Kar Raha hai Dev? Kisise ladna jhagadna alag baat hai par iss Tarah Kisii masoom ladki ki Zindagi Barbad Karne Ka koi haq nahi hai tujhe " shiva said holding Dev by his collar and shaking him vigorously.

"Aree Uski chod.... tere bacche ke liye bhi tera Dil nahi pighal Raha?" He said pointing to Devs chest.

Dev pushed shiva backwards angrily. He stumbled back.

" Tu ab apni hadd paar Kar raha hai shiva.yeb mat bhul ki Mai tera bada Bhai hu.mujhe sawal Karne Ka koi haq nahi hai tujhe. Mat par mere mamle Mai...samjha Tu?" Dev said in a loud Voice .

" Tera mamla? Yeh akele Ka tera mamla nahi hai Dev.do parivaar Jude hai isse.Are Kam se Kam yeh to Soch leta ki maa aur dhara bhabi ko kya muh dikhayenge Tu?" He said holding him by his arms.

" Mai Dekh Raha hu tujhe badi fikr hai raavi ki, Apne bade Bhai ke khilaaf Jane ki taiyar hai Tu Uske liye. Kahi mere peeth piche Woh tere Saath bhi rangraliya to nahi mana rahi thi? "Dev smirked

Shiva's patience broke when he heard thishe took a moment to process what he actually said.how could he say something so cheap about his chipkali? all his rage which he was supressing erupted.he punched Dev in the face.he stumbled backwards.he punched him again.this time Dev fell on the floor.

His nose was bleeding.suiva sat on top of Dev and held his neck.

" Sharam nahi ati tujhe? Tere hone wale bacche ki maa hai woh.kam se Kam iss rishte Ka to lihaaz Kar" he said punching him again.

Dev pushed him off him with a lot of efforts.he hit shiva but was too weak for him.he held his hands and pushed him to the wall.he kicked him and was about to punch him again when a voice stopped him.

"SHIVA..." Dhara shouted.

Gombi came running and pushed shiva away from Dev .

Krish had also come out hearing the commotion.

" Yeh kha Kar Raha hai shiva? Dev tera bada Bhai hai.tu Uspe Haath kaise utha Sakta hai? " Gombi shouted.

Bada bhai.he scoffed.he didn't want to be associated with this man in anyway.

" Raavi sach keh rahi thi Gombi." He said still glaring at Dev who had his head down and wiping the blood off his nose.

Dhara' s worst fear came true.she had a feeling that something was not right even after Dev directly refused the allegations.gombi.looked at Dev for answers but he didn't say anything.

He was still in shock by shiva' s reaction.

Dhara came forward and slapped Dev.

" Bola tha na sach bata ...sab tera Saath denge... phir kyu nahi bataya? Woh Bechari ladki sabke saamne zaleel Hoti rahi teri wajah se." Dhara was crying by this time.

" Aise sanskaar to nahi diye Maine tujhe Dev " she said defeated.

She gave her everything to this family.she had raised Dev, shiva and Krish like her own children.where did she lack? Shiva came forward and held dhara by the shoulders while she sobbed.

Gombi knew he had to think straight.this was not the time to get emotional.he was disappointed with his brother, but he had to do something to control the damage done by him.

" Do din Mai teri aur raavi ki Shaadi hogi" he declared.

Shiva felt a strange pain in his heart upon hearing Gombi.this man does not deserve to marry her.forget love, he does not even respect her.he has no attachment with his child.he wished he could just take raavi somewhere far from all this.he closed his eyes trying to calm the storm raging inside him.

"Par gombi..." Dev resisted

" Bas Dev....ek aur shabd nahi.tujhe jab bolna tha Tu chup raha.ab mai Jo kahunga Tu karega" Gombi said pointing a finger at him.

Dev gulped.he has never seen Gombi angry.he was a calm person.he just nodded to avoid his wrath.

" Maa ki kya batayenge Gombi?" Dhara asked tensed.

" Woh Sab Mai sambhal Lunga , Tu pehle maami ko phn Karke yeh khabar de, wahan sab bahut pareshan honge" Gombi said and went inside.

RAAVIs room

Her peaceful slumber was broken by maasima' s excited voice.dev had agreed to the marriage.anita Di and maasi ma were telling something to her ,but she couldn't focus.she knew shiva had something to do with this . She should be relieved.she was finally going to be the daughter in law of pandya parivaar, her child will be well cared for.everything was falling into place. she should feel lighter, but instead it felt like her burden has increased.she sighed .what has fate planned for her?

Mausapa had come to know everything later that afternoon and he was indeed shocked when he was told what had happened in his absence. He didn't talk with her much but had just put a hand on her head reassuringly.

" Sab theek ho jayega" he murmured more to himself than to her.

She sat on her bed lost, when her phone rang.

" Khush hai Tu?" Shiva asked unsure. Maami must have told her by now.

" Khush? Tu bata shiva.kya mujhe khush Hona chahiye?" Raavi replied.

She had always thought that the happiest day of her life will be when her marriage will be fixed with dev.but now it felt like a punishment for her .

" Shayad isi Mai sabki bhalayi hai. Tu iss Ghar Mai aajayegi to sab hai tujhe pyar Karne wale. Maa, Teri heroine dhara bhabi, Gombi Krish..." He said knowing that he was sounding like a fool, but he didn't know with what words he will assure her when he himself felt that things were not going right.

" Aur Tu shiva?" Raavi said silencing him

" AE maamikibehenkikibeti, yeh shiva Ka hamesha tujhse nafrat Ka rishta tha aur rahega. Tu to Khush ho ki Mai tujhe iss ghar Mai ghusne de Raha hoo" he said, his voice breaking towards the end.

" Jhoote pyar se sachi nafrat Kahi zyada behtar Hoti hai " she said.

Shiva closed his eyes feeling the pain in her voice.

There was a long silence.

" Acha sun...aaj shyam ko Teri sagai hai . Ache se taiyar hoke aana. Waise to Kuch zyada fark nahi padega par dekhne layak to ho hi jayegi " shiva said In a futile attempt to cheer her up.

" Hmm" raavi said.

The girl who looked at herself in the mirror 10 times a day didn't care about how she looked now.there was again a long silence.

" Tu Mera Saath dega na shiva?" raavi asked . She didn't know why she asked him that, but right now she needed an assurance that he is there for her.

" Hamesha" he replied without giving it a second thought.

Raavi suddenly felt her strength returning listening to him.she took a deep breath and cut the call .

Maami and Anita were making her ready for the function.she sat there disinterested.she still didn't look at herself in the mirror.she was wearing a pink lehenga.thats all she saw.

PANDYA NIWAS

The whole house was decorated beautifully, but not a single soul looked happy.shiva was half heartedly looking at the arrangements.dev sat in the decorated sofa with a straight face.

Suman sat there broken.she had heard from Gombi about what Dev did. Her sons were her pride it was as if someone took away her pride from her . She was always looking forward to be a grandmother. She would have been elated, invited the whole somnath for a feast. But given the circumstances she couldn't even be happy about it .

Raavi entered pandya niwas with maasima and mausapa. Shiva noticed her. She looked beautiful as usual but the usual twinkle in her eyes was missing, they were lifeless. He could always read her eyes from childhood.they were happy, confused or shocked.there was always an emotion in them, but today her blank look scared him.

Dhara immediately came forward and hugged her.

" Mujhe Maaf karde raavi.. mujhe Maaf karde " she muttered.

Raavi stood still .

Dhara broke the hug, put a kaala teeka on her and made her sit beside Dev .

Raavi suddenly felt suffocated. She took deep breaths to calm down. She couldn't stand to sit with him for some time, how is she supposed to spend her whole life with this man?

Shiva was looking at her intently. He looked a bit worried seeing her reaction.was she ohk?

Dev was about to put the ring on her.she flinched when his hand touched hers.

"NAHI ..." She shouted and got up.

" Mai yeh Shaadi nahi Kar Sakti " she shouted

Shiva sighed in relief.he was feeling uneasy since morning.now he felt a strange relief.

"Are ...yeh Tu kya keh rahi hai? Teri mati maari gayi hai kya? " Maami shouted

" Use Bolne de prafulla" mama stopped her.

" Mai ek aise aadmi se Shaadi nahi Kar Sakti jisne mujhe itna bada dhoka diya ho. Mai jaanti hoo dhara Di Dev yeh Shaadi sirf Aap logo ke Dabaw Mai aake Kar Raha hai " she said

" Raavi ....Soch samajh ke faisla le. Tu Dev ke bacche ki maa banne wali hai. Tum log Saath Mai rahoge to lagao ho hi jayega " dhara reasoned with her.

" AE raavi.....Tu pandya parivaar ke waris ko janm dene wali hai. Tu Dev ko uske bacche se dur nahiii Rakh sakti.tu iss bacche Ka haq nahi cheen sakti.mujhe nahi pata tum dono ke beech kya anban hui hai... par Shaadi ke baad sab thk hojayega.kaun sa baap Apne bacche se pyar nahi karega. ? " Suman said

" Mai iss ghatiya aur neech insaan se Shaadi nahi karungi" she said confidently looking at Dev.

" AE zabaan sambhal ke baat kar " Dev stood up to come near raavi.

Shiva immediately came to stand with raavi.she didn't trust Dev anywhere with raavi now.

Raavi went and took her purse to bring out a pile of notes.

" Yeh paise Yaad hai Dev? " She asked him.

" Yeh wohi paise hai Jo Aapke bete ne mujhe diye the . Aapke so called pandya parivaar ke waris ko girane ke liye " she said and threw the money at dev.

Shiva closed his eyes in disgust.how low can Dev get? Dhara and suman looked shocked.they had nothing to say now.gombi looked at Dev and shook his head.

" Iss jaise baap hone se accha hai ki mere bacche ke SAR par baap Ka saya hi na rahe." She said pointing at dev.

"Iss parivaar ne mujhe bachpan se bahut pyar Diya hai.khasskar ke Aap dhara Di , par ab mujhe dusro se pyar ki umeed chodkar khudse pyar Karna seekhna Hoga " she said determined

Dhara looked down crying unable to meet her eyes.

" Yeh bacha mera hai, sirf Mera. " she said holding her stomach.

Shiva looked at her with pride in his eyes.he knew that the decision to marry raavi with Dev was not right, but he couldn't say it out loud because the alternative looked scarier to him.raavi was brave enough to choose that path.

" Yeh kya keh rahi hai raavi? Akele kaise palegi Apne Bache ko? Kya Jawab degi samaj ke tanno ka? " Maami told her feeling helpless.

" Akele Kahan? Hum sab hai na Uske Saath prafulla" her mausapa came forward and put a hand on her head.raavi hugged him overwhelmed.

" Meri bacchi agar yeh Shaadi nahi karna chahti, to Woh nahi karegi " he said while glaring angrily at Dev.

Shiva smiled in satisfaction looking at them. His chipkali was well cared for .her family supported her. Raavi broke the hug and they were about to leave.

She turned back and gave a glance to shiva teary eyed.shiva gave a small smile and nodded his head.

Raavi suddenly felt a bit dizzy and shiva immediately went to her holding her steady.

Anita saw this and came near raavi . He let her go only after making sure she was steady. They left leaving the pandya family in grief.

Dev kicked the sofa in frustration and went from there.dhara slumped down to the floor.gautam has never felt so ashamed in his life.

Suman sat there lifeless . Shivas gaze was fixated at the door.
