This is an interesting perspective. you're right, it did look like Shiva didn't really hesitate to put the sindoor on her and therefore shows that he's accepted the fact that they are in this relationship. for someone who is actually very aware of customs (raised by Dhara and all) I was actually surprised that he did that so easily. kind of gives you a hint where his mind is (considering he's not voicing his thoughts to us)
Exactly, he may not verbalize it but in his head and actions he does accept the they are the man and woman and are to be together for life.. he may still not have the "liking" for her but he considers that they have "haq" on each other.. that might be coming from what Dhara told him "teri har cheez uski hai n uski teri".. and he acknowledges that
