I think the issue is both aren’t as good acting wise. It becomes more apparent when they r with shiva cause he is great.

We're not going to bash you, dont worry.

I think its because we aren't connecting to their characters right now. So far all they have shown us is the family drama, I do wonder if we will start noticing more chemistry when we can start relating to their characters more and they aren't involved in strictly drama.

Have to agree with Mel, I think a lot of us are just having troubles connecting with their story line. In all honesty, we should have better connected with these characters. These two were secretly in love for two years and even had plans to get married, but after a simple incorrect assumption (on Dhara's part), these two had to be separated. Had Dev and Rishita apologized, seemed more sensitive (especially Rishita), or explained to others (including Raavi, Shiva, Suman, the rest of the town) we might've appreciated them more.

I'll have to echo what I've said a couple weeks ago. I think the writers/makers are being partial to Shiva and Raavi's story. They are being so partial to these two, that I'm starting to find it more and more difficult to forgive Dev and Rishita. I think once some of the family misunderstandings are cleared, we'll see their relationship develop in a more positive light.

I'm determined to not hate (yes her colgate/close up smile is annoying) on Rishita until she does something to harm the family. So hopefully she redeems herself!

It's probably because too much drama. We can't connect with them so no chemistry. I feel the same way. Let's see if we see chemistry, EVER!! 😆

Hate marriage is a tried and tested formula so the makers are Pro in that, making it work perfectly for Shiva Ravee... Whereas Dev and Rishitha is love marriage from both the sides and also Dev is kind of introvert and Rishitha is a self centered person so the audience would always see her as a threat to family bonding... It needs proper writing to make the people connect to Dev Rishitha and admire them as couples which will not be fully done by makers eventually..

This is my personal opinion...

Firstly the actors are bad. Dev is still OK but rishita is worse. Secondly their characters r horrible too. Dev is mostly in mute mode, rest of the times he is in dhara's lap. He has no personality of his own. Rishita is brattish and annoying..I hope she doesn't turn into a full time vamp bec she won't be able to carry it off.

The conditions under which they got married make them more unlikable. When I saw them.both romancing, I found it odd..the family is sad over whatever happened , they don't have to flaunt their love in front of them , this isn't the right time. Plus they owe an apology to the family.

For now , keep the romance angle aside. 🤢 i love Gaumbi and shiva with their partners

If Rishita stops smiling like a serial killer with disorders, then I might start looking at her in a different way.

I haven't even progressed to looking at Dev and her as a couple only. It's her smiling like an irritating bug that gets me mad

Though I agree with most people here about us not being able to connect with them as a couple, I also have to admit that both of them are not the best actors. This is specifically for the actress who plays Risitha because I could simply not connect with her even during the pre marriage scenes. She deffo needs to improve if they are at all planning to make her like the original Tamil character.

The actress who plays her character in Tamil is very good and is versatile. Many times I have sympathised with her POV as well and love her comic timing. So I have great hopes from Risitha and I hope she doesn't let me down.
