Mere Dev Ki Liye Part II

Summary: Raavi's relationship with Shiva can only be described as "complicated." After spending years away from her idol, Raavi's only goal is to send Shiva far, far away. But, Shiva makes a proposition that is too hard to ignore. "Mere Dev K Liye, I'll even interact with my number one dushman!"

Notes: Thought this would be the last part, there is one more part before the end that I want to upload by end of this day.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

8 Years Later...

"Bhabi!" Krish disgustedly pulled at the hem of his yellow kurta. He specifically shared that he wanted a blush pink kurta. Pink always brought the best of his angles. He would've been fine with wearing a yellow kurta if he hadn't seen Dev dressed in a blush pink kurta earlier in the day.

He wasn't the best looking brother anymore. Shiva outshined him in his dark blue kurta, looking like a handsome hero, while Dev was attracting the attention of every unmarried girl, now even more so with the blush pink kurta. Meanwhile, he looked so lifeless...

"You should be happy the store carried this kurta in your size," Shiva turned to him with a glare.

Krish balled his fists in anger. Alright, alright, maybe I'm eating an extra helping, but that's because Dhara bhabi's food is too good. I can't insult her by eating less.

"Shiva," Dhara warned. She turned to Krish and pinched his cheeks, caringly, "My pyaari Krish looks good in anything he wears."

Warmth blossomed in Krish's stomach. Trust his bhabi to make the situation better!

He turned to Shiva with a glare, "See, bhabi loves me more."

Rolling his eyes, Shiva nodded his head, "Yes, anyone would love a pity case such as yourself."

Krish's eyes widened, "Shiva!"

"Oh, is pyaari Krish hurt," Shiva teased. "Do you want an extra biscuit?"

Before Dhara could intervene, she heard her name be called. Turning, she smiled when she saw her saas's best friend. She turned to Shiva and Krish and warned, "Don't fight with each other, or I'll give all the sweets to Dev tonight."

Krish's eyes widened while Shiva rolled his eyes.

Turning to Shiva, she warned, "And I'll tell Gaumbi to forbid you from going to the store."

Shiva's eyes widened as Krish cracked a smirk.

"I'm warning you both," she said with glaring eyes before turning.

Once Dhara was out of ear-shot and eye-sight, Krish punched Shiva on the arm, "Jerk. What type of brother are you?"

Shiva let out a laugh and wrapped his arm around his younger brother's shoulders, "Dev and I can't both be nice to you. One of us has to be the mean brother."

Though he was angry, he couldn't help but relax with Shiva around. Shiva might be a mean brother on the outside, but on the inside, he was a complete softie. If he played his cards right, he could get Shiva to buy him everything he wanted--even the things Dhara forbid him to have because they were too unhealthy.

Just as he was examining all the stalls for the foods and trinkets he could ask Shiva to buy him, a woman stopped in front of them. Her gaze was fixed at Shiva, and when he turned to Shiva, he noticed Shiva was gazing at her just as incredulously.

Krish turned back to the woman with confusion. As far as he knew, Shiva didn't interact with any woman. In fact, most of Somnath knew that Shiva's second love was the store and his first love was his family. Knowing this, most girls didn't even try to pursue a relation with Shiva--and that's ignoring Shiva's explosive personality which doesn't even attract flies.

Who is this pretty girl?

The woman's lips curled into a wide grin, "Wow," she breathed out. She took a step closer to Shiva, "Itana handsome." Her gaze dropped towards Shiva's arms just as Shiva's eyes widened, "And so strong!" She glanced back up at him with pure love/adoration in her eyes, "Can I hug you?"

Krish's eyes widened as he turned to Shiva with shock. There was no way his brother would accept to such a request. His Prafulla Mami returning those bangles she stole would be more likely than Shiva accepting a hug from a stranger.

But before Shiva could say no, the girl grinned and hugged Shiva anyway.

Who is this girl?!?!

His brother was frozen still while the girl seemed to be in pure bliss. Eventually, his brother seemed to regain his senses. Shiva placed his hands on the girl's shoulders and turned to Krish with a glare.

Immediately getting the message, Krish rushed forward to pry the girl off of Shiva.

"Let go of my brother," Krish struggled as he tried to pry the girl off. She had some sort of monster grip on Shiva.

She turned to him with a glare, "Shiva," she venomously muttered while glaring at Krish.

Krish's eyes widened and he took a step back. Even Shiva stiffened.

The girl let go of Shiva and walked up to Krish, "I knew you would be the supervillain in my relationship with mera Dev."

Krish glanced at Shiva for help, but it seemed as though Shiva knew everything about the girl and the situation. His brother placed his hand on the girl's shoulder while having a murderous expression adorning his face.

Krish, for a moment, felt a brief amount of pity. She seemed like a nice enough girl--,

"And it seems like God hasn't treated you well over the years," her eyes roamed over Krish. "Short, weak," she leaned over to pinch Krish's cheek, "and completely unattractive."

Nevermind! She's not a nice girl at all. What a meanie! I'll need to tell Dhara bhabi to buy the blush pink next time or nothing...I can't let some no-name girl ruin my pride!

She turned to Shiva with an adoring gaze, "Meanwhile mera Dev looks so ruggedly handsome," she brought her hands to her cheeks, "just like all my favorite heroes!" She put her hand on her head and slowly raised it to Shiva's height, "And the perfect height, too."

To the girl who's name I don't know... I'm not done growing yet! Someday, I'll definitely be taller than Shiva...

Krish took a step forward, "My name is--n,"

"Raavi," Shiva grounded out.

The girl, Raavi, turned and gasped with a large grin, "And you even say my name so beautifully!"

Beautifully? Are you sure you heard that right? I'm confident that sounded more like glass piece, not a chalk piece, being scraped over a chalkboard.

Krish took a moment to observe Raavi, his Maami's niece. The last time he truly interacted was years ago. Ever since she left on her scholarship, Shiva made sure their family never crossed paths with her. Whenever he heard she was coming home, Shiva would suggest they go visit their maternal family, who lived far from Somnath. Other times, when travel was not possible, he would purposely go and goad Maami into going to Gandhinagar instead of staying in Somnath for the holidays.

Despite just insulting him a few moments ago, Krish couldn't help but realize how pretty Raavi was. Not only was she pretty, the girl was also very confident.

Who else would play in front of human tornado like Shiva?

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Gandhinagar?" Shiva's fists clenched at his side, but it seemed like Raavi hadn't noticed.

Instead, her nose wrinkled as if she recalled some bad memory, "I should've been. But I jumped out the window last night!"

Krish gulped in surprise. Jumping out of windows? What is this? Some action movie?

"And then, I escaped before any of the wardens knew I left," Raavi smiled mischievously and leaned closer to Shiva, "and so far no one knows I've escaped." She held up her phone, "Mausi and Mausa still haven't reached Gandhinagar to know that I'm gone."

"Pagal ladki," Shiva muttered. "Who asked you to do all of this?" Shiva glanced away for a brief second. His gaze finally settled, and when Krish turned back to see what the commotion was, he realized Shiva was looking over at Dev.

Oh, right. This pagal ladki is crazy for Dev. 8 years later, and she is still crazy about him?

Krish couldn't help but shake his head. This girl was very deluded if she thought Shiva was Dev. Anyone in Somnath could affirm that while Dev was the sweet, cool boy next door, Shiva was the hot-headed toofan everyone avoided.

Raavi's eyes widened, "Are y-you concerned about me, Dev?" she took a deep breath. "God, this is the best day ever. Mera Dev, concerned about me!"

She was so busy in her excitement that she didn't notice Shiva's eyeroll. When he turned to the side, his eyes widened, "Dev," he mouthed to Krish.

When Krish turned, he noticed Dev and Gaumbi were walking towards their direction. Krish turned back to Shiva with wide eyes, "What do you want me to do?" he mouthed back.

Shiva's gaze moved from those two to Raavi and he mouthed, "Distract them," before he reached for Raavi's hand.

I loved it! This is super interesting 🤩

Can’t wait to see how Raavi reacts when she knows that it’s Shiva and not Dev 😂

Did Shiva maybe change how he feels about Raavi?

Love it!

There were two scenes, and I am not sure if I can pick a favorite. Shiva and Krish are just riot together.❤️😂 The way Shiva manages to get under Krish's skin is hilarious. And so true about Kriah knowing to play his cards right. Haha being the younger one, I think he's observed them all and knows which card to play with all to get what he desires!😂

And Raavi mistaking Shiva for Dev and Krish for Shiva!😂😂 Oh oh, what prank will Shiva play now? Likely he'll use the misunderstanding to his advantage and make her disappear front their lives. Just hope ke woh kuch zyaada na kar bethe. Can't wait to see Raavi's reaction as learns the true identity of this handsome, strong man.

Mere Dev Ki Liye Part III

Summary: Raavi's relationship with Shiva can only be described as "complicated." After spending years away from her idol, Raavi's only goal is to send Shiva far, far away. But, Shiva makes a proposition that is too hard to ignore. "Mere Dev K Liye, I'll even interact with my number one dushman!"

Notes: Oh no, I keep underestimating how much I'm going to write. This is the second to last part (I'm breaking it up because I don't want IF to freak out on me). God, I love ShiVi too much!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shiva pulled his dushman closer to him, but he severely underestimated how much smaller and much more light-weighted his Maami Ki Behn Ki Beti was. She was flush against his body, and he couldn't help but pause as he saw her in this new light.

It had been a long eight years since he saw Raavi.

But regardless of how much time had passed, he would forever be able to recognize his Maami Ki Behn Ki Beti. Her annoyingly chirpy nature, those big eyes that probably hid all those evil schemes, her idiocy... oh course he'll be able to spot her.

Her cheeks flushed as a soft smile passed her face, and this caused the anger to boil even further in Shiva.

I can't let this chipkali meet Dev...

He knew his brother well enough. Dev was too sweet to reject anyone, and if this girl, with her large deceiving eyes, went to his brother, he would fall for her. And then, Shiva will have to entertain her and...respect her which he was not willing to do anytime in the future.

I need to do something to send this girl far, far away...

Shiva's eyes roamed over the surroundings. Most stalls were selling last minute kites, but there were some stalls selling food. His eyes zeroed in on the vada pav stall. With a smirk, he dragged her over.

"Bhai, ek vada pav," when he glanced at Raavi, he couldn't help but feel more irritated.

The pagal ladki was looking at him with such adoration. He brought his hand up to her face, to cover the irritating sight.

If I don't send this girl back to Gandhinagar, then my name isn't Shiva.

He turned and had to send a glare over to his unsuspecting brother who seemed stuck to where he was earlier.

If you weren't so nice to her, I wouldn't have to scare this pagal chipkali.

Before the seller could give him his vada pav, Shiva stepped forward and grabbed the box with red chili powder. He put four extra heapfuls of chili powder--one spoon for each Pandya brother there was.

Should teach the chipkali to stay away. She won't even have the mouth to tell Dev anything.

He used the disposable spoon to fully mix the spicy concotion he created. Turning to the annoying presence in his life, he handed her the vada pav, and she took it without another question.

"My first present from my love," she breathlessly said. She took a large bite and began coughing immediately after. "Oh, it's s-spicy," she mentioned between coughs.

"Well, this is exactly how I like it," Shiva replied. He hoped she would eat the rest and go back to Gandhinagar where she belonged.

"Shiva!"

Raavi stilled before she could take another bite. Tears were already starting to roll down her cheeks, so when the actual Dev came running with a water bottle, Shiva couldn't help but curse his brother internally.

What are you doing Dev? Why are you this nice to this Maami Ki Behn Ki Beti? If you continue this, she'll only get worse. She'll come into our house and wreak havoc just like her Mausi. And Dhara bhabi will have to pick up the pieces...

Dev turned to him, "Shiva, did you actually give this girl something with 4 spoons of chili powder?" he turned to Raavi, "Sorry, miss--,"

Raavi glanced at him confusedly before turning to Shiva. She turned back to Dev and whispered, "S-Shiva?" with a frown.

Dev turned to Shiva, "What did you do, Shiva?"

Raavi turned to Shiva with her mouth opening, "S-Shiva?" the tears continued to roll down her face.

Shiva smirked and crossed his arms. Pagal girl, despite getting a scholarship to attend a fancy school still showed just how stupid she was. His brothers and he really didn't miss anything from not getting the scholarship.

It seemed as though everything clicked for Raavi. She immediately clenched her fists and took a step forward. She grabbed Shiva's collar with her right hand, and before Shiva could process what she was doing, Raavi managed to stuff the remaining vada pav in Shiva's mouth. He immediately began to cough from the spice.

But his Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti couldn't just stop there. She was fated to bring bad luck to him and his family.

When she stepped forward to stuff the vada pav in his mouth, her foot somehow caught in between his, causing her to stumble forward. Shiva felt pain extend through his back as he supported both himself and her during the fall.

He glanced up at her with repulsion and immediately pushed her off. Standing up, he shut his eyes from the tingling pain on his tongue.

Raavi quickly stood up and made sure to clean the dirt on her hands with his kurta, "I should've known it was you!"

"Then why didn't you?" Shiva took a step forward. The tingling pain on his tongue was still annoying him.

Pagal, pagal ladki.

He felt Dev's hand on his shoulder, "Shiva? Kaun hai is ladki?"

"Raavi," his dushman answered before he could say anything. She turned to Dev with a glare, "And who are you?"

Dev didn't take any offense and offered Raavi a smile, "Raavi? It's been so long, how are you."

Raavi's glare did not disappear.

Dev laughed, "You don't remember me?" he wrapped an arm around Shiva's shoulders, "I'm this rascal's brother."

Raavi blinked before her mouth dropped slightly open, "D-Dev?" Now, only horror was left on her face.

Shiva glanced between Raavi and Dev with frustration. He purposely sent away this chipkali so he wouldn't have to see such unfortunate encounters between these two.

Look at this ladki... thinking she's some heroine. A hero like Dev wouldn't even think twice about this grandmother... And where is this useless Krish? Didn't I tell him to keep Dev away?

Shiva coughed breaking the small moment between Raavi and Dev. He turned to his brother, "Dev, can you get some milk," he sent a glare at Raavi, "the vada pav was very spicy."

"Oh," Dev nodded his head, "Let me get it right away."

"Good idea!" Raavi exclaimed. "Let me go with you, too!"

"Ey Mami Ki Behn Ki Beti," Shiva grabbed Raavi's hand and motioned for Dev to leave. "Where do you think you're going?"

Raavi frowned and tried to pry Shiva's fingers off, "Leave my hand, Shiva. Leave, leave," she successfully managed to pry Shiva's grip off. With a glare, she huffed, "Stop being the villain to my love story."

He snorted, hearing one of the best jokes in his life, "Love story? What type of love story is this? A hero forgets his heroine and the heroine falls in love with the villain?"

Raavi took a step back and frowned, "Chee, ugh," she recoiled with disgust, "why would I like the villain when I have a hero like Dev," her voice turned softer as she said Dev's name.

"Oh?" Shiva raised his brow, "Then what was all that nonsense about me being handsome?" he took a step forward as Raavi took a step back, "and strong?" Raavi's back hit the wall as Shiva took one last step closer, "Ey Mami Ki Behn Ki Beti, because I'm feeling good today, I'll give you some advice. Forget Dev."

Raavi shook her head, "Nahin bhooloonga, mere Dev."

"Mere Dev?" Shiva felt anger broil within his body. How dare this chipkali think of his brother with such intentions. He was able to keep his patience since she couldn't recognize him, but now that she knew the truth... "Ey chipkali, if you say mere Dev one more time, I'll punch you so hard you'll end up back at Gandhinagar before your Mausi or Mausa know you're gone."

Raavi flinched, "B-but, mera..." she stopped when she noticed Shiva's glare deepened. "O-okay, Dev is my prince charming, how could I forget him so easily," when she noticed Shiva's jaw clenched, Raavi continued, "And before you yell at me, it's all because of you. If you weren't so mean," Raavi reached up to smoothen out Shiva's frown. "Dev wouldn't have protected me, and I wouldn't have fallen in love." She gave him a mocking smile, "So, if you smile a bit more and treat me like the wonderful ladki I am-,"

"Ladki?" Shiva scoffed. "Have you looked at yourself in the mirror?"

Mere Dev Ki Liye Part III.5

Summary: Raavi's relationship with Shiva can only be described as "complicated." After spending years away from her idol, Raavi's only goal is to send Shiva far, far away. But, Shiva makes a proposition that is too hard to ignore. "Mere Dev K Liye, I'll even interact with my number one dushman!"

Notes: Final part!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raavi frowned and marched forward causing Shiva to take a few steps back. In a low, deep voice, she announced, "You have the brains of a bandar, face of a chipkali, and the personality of a rakshasi," she giggled at the end, "was that what you were going to say you angry fireball?"

Trust this chipkali to ruin my train of thought.

When Raavi noticed his silence, her laugh became more obnoxious. She cupped his face, "Hey Shiva, why does it always look like you have gulab jamuns stuffed in your face? Don't you know how bad sugar is? Your teeth will all rot and fall out."

Shiva slapped her hands away as he tried to regain his thoughts.

Raavi clapped her hands, "Maybe if those teeth of yours fall out, you won't be able to stop me and Dev from getting together!"

"Ey Mami Ki Behen Ki Beti, even if my teeth fall out, that doesn't mean my hands won't work!"

Raavi frowned, "Shaant ho, Shiva. I don't think you realize how amazing I am." She grabbed Shiva's arms, "I'm not the silly Raavi from before. I'm a gold medalist, Shiva! If I hang my medals up in Pandya Store think about how many more people will visit."

"I don't need your pity service, chipkali," Shiva brushed her hands off of him. "Gold medal? My family can buy many gold medals and hang them up if we wanted to."

"Shiva!" Raavi frustratedly shouted, "How would you know how difficult it is to get a gold medal! Of course you wouldn't-,"

"You two are still fighting?" Krish huffed as he came over holding two plastic cups of mango lassi. He handed Shiva a cup, "Here," he mumbled, "Before you ruin all of Somnath with your anger."

Shiva snatched the cup from Krish.

Krish sighed and turned to Raavi handing her the other cup, "I suggest you forget about Dev. It won't work out as long as Shiva is angry."

Raavi continued to glare at Shiva as she snatched her cup of mango lassi. After taking a sip, she turned to Krish, "Does that mean if Shiva agrees to let me and Dev be together, I can be with Dev?"

Without a second thought, Krish nodded his head, "Shiva is going to be the toughest nut to crack in the house. Mom, Gaumbi, Dhara bhabi... they're all easy to convince. But Shiva?" he glanced a second longer at her face, "If you weren't related to Mami, it wouldn't been easier."

Raavi glanced innocently at Shiva, "So... if he likes me, Dev and I can be together."

"That's impossible, chipkali. Shiva will have to die before he likes you," Shiva placed him arm around Krish's shoulders. She already sucked so much energy, if he spent any longer with her, she would curse him and his family. "Let's go."

"Shiva!" she ran in front of him with a glittering smile. "You don't need to like me. I can just annoy you until you say, "Pagal chipkali, fine take Dev!""

"Oh," Shiva glanced at Krish before turning to her, "and how would you do that?"

Raavi took a step forward and grabbed his mango lassi cup, "Like this!" she inverted the cup over her head so the lassi dripped down her hair. Using her cup, she spilled the lassi over her dark blue salwar.

P-pagal ladki... what are you up to now?

"Dhara Di!" she announced as she shoved the cups into Shiva and Krish's hands, and ran to someone behind them.

Shiva felt his heart stop. Dhara bhabi?

When he turned, he felt as though the air had been punched out of his lungs. His Dhara bhabi was really there, and that chipkali was already up to her drama and saying something to her. Even he didn't intervene right now, his bhabi might get the wrong idea and feel sad.

Shiva grabbed Krish's arm and rushed over to his bhabi. His bhabi was nice. She would understand that it was all this chipkali's fault. If she hadn't come in front of him, he really would've been on his absolute best behavior.

"Dhara Di, after this many years, I wanted to make peace and say, "Enough if enough. We've fought for a lifetime, now it's time to be friends," but instead, I had lassi poured on me!" she cried her fake crocodile tears.

Unfortunately, Dhara was too kind to notice what a chameleon this chipkali was. Using her sari, she wiped some of the lassi from Raavi's face.

"Dhara bhabi, don't believe that pagal ladki's words!" Shiva announced as fear continued to creep into his heart. "Why would I pour lassi on that girl?"

Raavi's lower lip jutted out into a pout. She turned to Dhara and held her hands, "D-Dhara Di," her voice trembled. "D-do you really think I would pour lassi on myself?" she glanced down at her dress. "Do you even know how much of my pocket money this cost me?"

He had to give it his dushman. She became more formidable in the years. She must've gained something from Gandhinagar.

But he was better.

He had his brother Krish as a proxy.

"Bhabi, this chipkali is saying a ton of useless words. Krish can vouch for me," he turned to Krish and Krish nodded his head with affirmation. He'll need to sneak a few extra sweets into Krish's plate tonight.

Raavi let out a sob, "Of course those two thieves will be together," she swallowed and softly whispered, "Dhara Di, who's holding the cups? Me," she pointed to herself. "Or them?" she slowly turned to them as her finger pointed in their direction.

Dhara's eyes landed on their trembling hands which held the cups.

"D-Dhara bhabi," Krish whispered, his face was pale.

Dhara left out a sigh, "You two, how many times do I have to tell you two to behave."

Behind them, Raavi stuck out her tongue, only causing Shiva's anger to flare. This ladki... her dress is already ruined. It won't matter if I ruin it anymore would it?

He glanced around and noticed a box of feathers. Grabbing it before the stall owner could protest, Shiva shouted, "You said I ruined your dress, huh? Well, let me make your words true," he dumped the feathers on Raavi before Dhara could stop him. And just to make sure she was absolutely ruined, he spread the feathers all over her.

"SHIVA!" Dhara pulled Shiva away as Raavi was left coughing. "Is this how you act with a girl?"

"Girl?" Shiva asked. "She's a liar, and I couldn't help but make her lies a truth," he turned to Raavi with a glare.

Dhara grabbed Shiva's ear, "How many times do I have to tell you, Shiva?" she sighed. "This much anger is never good for you." She turned to Krish with a frown, "And why didn't you look after your brother?"

Before Krish could say anything, Dhara sighed, "Both of you. Krish no more sweets for one week, and Shiva, no more going into the store for one week."

Shiva and Krish turned to their bhabi incredulously. Raavi gasped as well as she walked up to Dhara, "Dhara Di, just one week?"

"Then?" Dhara asked softly.

Raavi glanced down at her dress, "Mango lassi, feathers... and on this beautiful dress...," she glanced up at Dhara, "One month. Punish them for one month."

"Ey Maami Ki Behen Ki Beti!" It was already bad enough his bhabi prevented him from going into the store for one week. How would Gaumbi and his uncle be able to handle one month? He was the one to take care of the invoices, inventory, final deals...

"Chup Shiva!" Dhara turned to the pitiful Raavi, "She's right. One week is too little for you." Turning to Shiva, she warned, "One month," pulling on his ear, "and don't think you can get your bhai's help. I'll tell Gaumbi to forbid you from coming into the store, too."

She turned to Raavi and picked off a feather, "Bechari ladki, do you even have another suit to wear?" Raavi shook her head. Dhara turned to Shiva with a frown, "Bring Raavi to our house and give her one of my old dresses."

Raavi's eyes glittered.

"But bhabi," Shiva began.

"Chup, none of this would've happened if you hadn't lost your anger. Now, bring her to our house otherwise I'll double your punishment to two months."

Shiva straightened. As much as he hated his dushman, he couldn't let his punishment prolong for any longer than it should be. He bowed his head, "Fine," he muttered.

"And Krish," Dhara turned to the youngest, "If Raavi or Shiva get into another fight, I'll double your punishment, too!"

"Understood bhabi!" Krish swallowed. "I won't let either of them destroy Somnath."

Dhara nodded her head, "Good, I'll be at home in twenty minutes. I'm counting on you Krish," she sighed and turned back.

Once Dhara left, Krish whispered, "You're right she is evil."

Raavi ran up to them with a bounce in her step, "Let's go! Let's go! Lead me the way to humara house, Shiva."

"Humara? How dare you-,"

"Cool down, Shiva! Somnath doesn't need another typhoon. We have all the rain we need," Krish grabbed Shiva's arm. When it didn't seem like Shiva was cooling down, Krish whispered, "Store!" and that seemed to instantly relax him.

Shiva's lips pressed together in anger as he turned to Raavi, "Let's go, chipkali," he gruffly muttered.

Raavi smugly went up to Shiva and grabbed his arm. Pressing her body against him, some of the mango lassi and feathers stained his kurta. She glanced up at him with those owl eyes of hers, "Shiva, how long has it been," she muttered. She drew lazily circles over his bicep, "You really thought I was going to forget how you sent me away to Gandhinagar. This punishment, it's only a fraction of the torture I have to return."

Shiva pushed her off, "Ey chipkali, you don't think I have the brains to kick you out? Shiva," he took a step closer to her completely ignoring his brother who seemed like he was ready to sob, "My name is Shiva, remember it! As long as Shiva is alive, he won't let a chipkali like you be happy."

Raavi laughed, "Uh huh? Well Mr. Pandya, what are you going to do to destroy my happiness today? You're already giving me a red carpet welcome into our house," his brow twitched as he heard that, "and if your or the toofan ki chota bhai," she glanced at Krish who could only look away in fear, "do anything, I'll make sure your punishments are tripled."

He couldn't forget. His bhabi was coming back home in twenty minutes to check up on them. If this chipkali has any complaints, he would be....

"Tomorrow," he grounded out.

"Huh?"

"I said tomorrow," Shiva grabbed Raavi's hand. "Tomorrow is a new day, and now that I'm in house arrest, I'll have all the time to think about how to torture you."

Raavi laughed, "Think, think! I've had eight years to think about how to get back." She sighed dreamily, "Dev will be mine, and you will learn to love and respect me! In fact, one day you'll agree and say, "You are the most beautiful girl in all of Somanth, Raavi!" Oh what a bright future!"

She turned to him and tapped his chest, "And mere Dev ki liye, I'll even put up with an irritating, stupid fool like yourself," she grinned as she looked up at him. "Just wait and watch, my sweet, sweet words will melt you one day, and you'll be following me like you follow your bhabi!"

Cool down, Shiva. She's not worth it. She's just a small little fly that can be swatted away. Dev... he'll never like her, and as long as you are there, she won't ever be able to step inside the house after today.

But little did Shiva know, after that day, his Maami Ki Behn Ki Beti became somewhat of a constant in his life. Just as he woke up every day to go to the store, there wasn't a single day where he and that chipkali did not end up in an argument. It was frustrating (especially when he was on the losing end) but rejuvenating (especially when he saw her tears).

Regardless, nothing in the world could change their equation. They were, will, and would always be either other's number one dushman.

Finished!!!

Note: This entire story was inspired from Mel's comment about why Raavi was so keen on getting Shiva's opinions/attention when she could've spent half her effort on wooing Dev. When I read the comment I immediately thought, it's because they're two school children who can't help but pull on each other's strings for entertainment. Hope you guys liked this one!

Lol, nope 3 updates in one day to get us through the drought of not getting spoilers/SBS segments/or anything!

And god, I didn't even think about #RaaviFedShiva, you're right, she did! In my other story, it'll be a lot more romantic, but glad I could make use of that hastag!

And lol 🤣 #VillianGetsTheHeroine, where do you come up with these hashtags, hashtag queen? We need to keep this one too!
