I understand her not being used to responsibilities of her own, it's something she's going to have to work on if she wants a normal relationship with Dev but the least she could do is respect the people that do know how to follow their own responsibilities.

You know that bothered me very much. She doesn’t know Dhara at all. She doesn’t know his family yet she believes Dhara is pretending!!

I’m not sure what kind of person does that. Without knowing anything she draws her own useless and hurtful opinions.

That doesn’t seem good at heart. You don’t go around thinking such things, like she said about ShiVi. She doesn’t know them. She doesn’t want to get to know them. She simply doesn’t care and that doesn’t sit well with me.

I don’t think I will like her any time soon.

You've hit the nail on the head about how I feel about her! I tried very hard to empathize with her and understand where she was coming from, but to be completely honest, I find her to be very childish. It is one thing to be defensive because she feels unwelcome, and it is entirely another thing to behave like she simply doesn't care. I question how much Dev really told her about himself, or if they even know each other that well, because it isn't looking like they know each other at all right now. Dev continues to be thrown off guard by the fact that Rishita doesn't give a damn about his family and would rather exist in a fairytale world, and Rishita continues to be thrown off guard by the fact that Dev values his family this much (which is an entirely different irritation I have, because I think for a guy who claims to care about his family so much, he doesn't seem to think a whole lot about how the consequences of his actions impact them).

Rishita needs to wake up. The world is not about rainbows and sunshine and fairytales 100% of the time. The real world is about facing difficulties and problems one after another head on, all while finding joy throughout the process and little pockets of magic along the way. Perhaps she was so caught up in her fantasy about how life would be if she managed to escape her controlling family, that when she is finally faced with the reality of things, she doesn't know how to deal with it.

very well said! makes me wonder what kind of "love" these two shared exactly when they seem to know nothing about each other's families and some of their basic character traits as well.. Rishita seems quite immature but I expected more maturity from someone supposedly well educated and intelligent like Dev

I agree. As much as I want to be lenient towards her, she opens her mouth and ruins it all.

I totally agree, how the heck did they fall in love and make promises of marriage without knowing anything about each other. Like what did those two fall in love with.

Dev-Rishita leave me flabbergasted.

No, Rishita doesn’t come off as juvenile to me. She comes across as a person who enjoys other’s pain. More like a sociopath!! Let’s hope they don’t turn her into a full-fledged vamp.

Problem with rishita is she is not trying to understand, infact she doesn't even bothered to try to mingle with them, in sbs clips she was saying her dad cant to kidnapping, because after all what her dad did she still considers her dad as her family

But not for dhara - gautham or shiva - raavi..after them doing soo much to her & for her so called love story she doesn't even consider them family to atleast think abt them..

Cant say her due to neutral family upbringing, soo many frm current generations( including me)live in neutral families that doesn't mean they all r away frm harsh realities & adjustments

Exactly, I'm just baffled at the way she seems annoyed at his family without trying to get to know them herself. Like were you 2 not in a 2-year relationship? how is it that you don't understand each other and what each one of you wants from life? Sirf saadi karni thi? there is a life after the wedding and the fact that it looks like neither of them talked about it really shows the maturity of their relationship. It has to be something more than just love. It has to be communication, understanding, compromise on both ends, not just love. None of which they have, I'm even questioning the love part now and simply think it was infatuation and the trill of having a secret relationship.

So, when it comes to her Dad she defends him but Dhara who is like a mom to Dev is pretending!!

What a nasty woman!! Her Dad came and threatened them all, she knows him yet defends him. Someone should tell her if her family is important so is Dev’s!! The Pandya family is precious!!

I don’t understand what did they expect after marriage. Relationships are a lot of work. Theirs doesn’t seem like a partnership. It seems more fickle for lack of a better word.

Shiva-Raavi don’t even like each other but they have better understanding.

DevTa are abstruse!! Nothing of substance there!! Maybe with time it will change. Looks like this is going to be their journey.

true

Jab sab uske dad par blame dal rahe the toh uska pehle reaction/action ye tha ke woh aapne dad aka aapne family ko defend kar..

Jab dev aapne family defend/support karata hai toh iska nonsense drama shuru ho jaata hai..
