The story is meandering - Zain was an asshole, he got an easy escape from what should have been a very harsh punishment. Had the boy regretted his past actions that landed up with Zeeshan dead and had he come around this easy death would have been more fulfilling. Right now i'm not super satisfied at the remorse everyone seems to be showing at his death.
Shahnawaz feels like shit at the loss of his brother but it would have been nice for him to express that he understands now what Mehru when thru when she lost Zeeshan. Likewise, I hope Saman also realizes.
I hope what Zain did with Muskaan is out and Shah and Saman get to know what an ass he was - Maybe she's pregnant otherwise there is no way her and Zain's truth is going to get out.
Good Aftab is arrested - I hope he rots there and that sister finally grows a spine and leaves him and also adds domestic violence and abuse to his list of charges.
Shahnawaz is right now fully immense in his own sorrow to think about what mehru went through. He will start seeing it only after his own emotions settle down.
I think more than zain, the makers are aiming for shanno and saman to regret their actions of covering up for zain. Zain is pure evil. He don't even have the basic decency which even saman had. So I don't think he will ever regret anything he did. No matter how arrogant and entitled saman and shanno were, they still had kept a boundary. Saman never even though of defaming mehru or her sister's character during the entire court case. She was more focused on getting zain out through her money and power than teaching mehru a lesson. Shanno didn't do even 10% of what we expect from a grey male lead of ptv. No kidnapping, no character assassinate or defaming. He married her mainly because he loved her but covered it with getting zain out. After marriage he acted rude so that he can keep his distance from her and not because he wanted to torture her or anything.
Muskaan is definitely not gonna be pregnant. Zain lost the chance to do the deed with her when mehru caught them together at his room. I think that entire zain-muskaan scenes were just to show how bad zain is. He didn't care that mehru is his sister in law and made indecent advances at her multiple times. Didn't stop going after that dumbo even when shanno made it crystal clear what mehru means to him. Zain don't even care about his own brother and if he did he would have simply ignored mehru like saman did.
