He was not grey the moment he blackmailed a rape victim.

I felt sick seeing people trying to justify such character. Even reviewer like aamna called him bechara.

In his interview with mahwish he said I feel ammar is not villian but audience may not agree with me. This is what I remember. I might be wrong too.

stop watching the show if it's bothering so much. there are many mid cindrella types shows on air. you have plenty of choices. Qej is just a fictional drama and if Amaar doesn't get punished at the end then you can do all your ranting here. util then enjoy the brilliantly directed and performed drama. and let others enjoy it too. peace.

Ohh god why such intolerance behaviour just because I said an actor shouldn't call a murderer/rapist a grey character. Did I judge you for your views then why this condensing tone.

No one stopping you from enjoying your brilliantly directed and performed drama. But why gatekeeping others from expressing their views. Anyways It's my fault for coming back here. Bye.

Review time! Just saw the episode.

What a brilliant episode! Nameer cooked it. Pure slay (pun intended ). That disassociated look and that cold blooded behavior. Calling himself bakhtiyar... that tells you the state of his mind. Totally a wreck of a soul. You do not need to be an archetypical hero or a viilian or a grey character. You just need to show the journey so well and the take the audience with you every step of the way so that people feel the impact in the most convincing way. I just hope he works on his urdu and voice and he's going to do great. His expressions were on point. And Faj did so well. Deepak ji ki Kiya hi kahe. Excellent.

Daniyal as Asad was great. That last look at the phone. The whole scene was haunting though we knew it was coming!

Only this to say. This person below explains everything the audience want to say.

Also, I always said the mahi case should not be used as a thriller or a bait. I hope there is justice there. Such assaults k*lls the soul and is worst than death. And if any enabler abaits or hinders they deserve the same punishment as the culprit (that includes justice system set up by the rich and powerful, corrupt police/judges, bought out lawyers, enablers, people like dado). They all play a role to make this happen and prevent justice. This drama highlights issues with the society and the system.

However, I do believe that due process is the human right of all people ( good or evil) because there are times such as now where we see in our society and our world where whistleblowers, activists, people who speak up for minority and against regimes, and against global resources theft and ge**cide what they face. False accusations. So, due process is the right of all beings while we can still acknowledging how deeply rooted in corruption the justice system is and that it usually only work to silence the regular people.

Excited for the next episode.

Guys, I am sure they are going the pregnancy route. Today Nashwa said, she doesn't want the future generations to have the same faith of Bisma and Nashwa. Why would she say that, if they had not done it. I think she is expecting 🤢. Oh God, this was the only thing left. What if the child gets even 1 percent of Ammar? How much ever good upbringing is given to the child, genes does matter.

Today episode was traumatic to say the least. I can't believe Both Nameer and writer was claiming, that audience will cry for Ammar. The way he showed no remorse today and called Beenish after killing Asad, it was the last nail in the coffin.

Now I am really scared, why is Burhan taking the case to defend Ammar. How can his conscience not prick him. My Burhan is butchered 😡

No we r not that delusional

But I personally love grey characters with multiple shades and how their redemption is shown

Ammar is not the first spoilt brat and druggie shown on TV

I have watched zillions of such male leads

What I m talking about is being rational and continuity

While reading the script how the hell no one objected to this

I don't mind Ammar killing Asad but where is the build up

Even a murdered doesn't kill anyone on a spree like this the way they assassinated Ammars character today

It's the writer and directors fault

They ruined the show for us completely

And why will he call Beenu and mock her

Like why .....there was nothing between him and asad to begin with

Out of nowhere Asad suddenly became this honest officer ....

I m extremely disappointed given I just binged watched the show last week and was looking forward to this week's epi

Now meem se mohabbat and qarz e jaan both ate over for me

Let's be real here. You , me n everyone else watching this show very well know what I meant.

And, let's agree to disagree here.

Ammar wasn't a grey character ,since the beginning. No amount of justification, ranting from shoppers will ever change that. The dude who ra*ed a girl, threw her out n blackmailed her n didn't show an ounce of guilt even when she died can never be called a "grey" character. One or two sympathizers cannot change the actual truth. I m sorry, but people must open their eyes , everything isn't about looks n "shipping" business.

M glad writer didn't mince the script just to appease two-three shippers who have no idea what this show about n want a ra*ist to "love" the FL of the drama. Lolz.

Well, Pilot...I think it is obvious why there was a rukhsati and why Nashwa stated that she is going in with clear heart and intentions to make this work. She really meant it.

Also, no child should be stigmatized. Telling a child since childhood k tu iska bacha hai and you will be just like this or that because your parent was XYZ is going to create another Ammar.

Also, when children make mistakes, instead of humiliating them, teach them how to fix it or how to problem solve. Desi parents starts shaming if you drop a plate by accident or compare you to another kid. That trauma and voice of disapproval stays forever. Something so small. Imagine what bigger pain feels like.

A child born from any situation cannot be hated. You can dislike or hate a parent but never take it out on an innocent human being. To state something like tera toh jaat hi kharab hai is just ....makes one worse than or no different than a monster.

I'm not saying that's what you meant. Of course not. It is my belief. I feel people often struggle to understand where a troubled person comes from. Especially preachy people who think they're perfect. Grace and mercy should be shown where possible.

Btw, Beenish was calling daniyal and Ammar picked it up.

As for Burhan, someone has to represent Ammar. It is a human right to have a fair trial. Even if it is an open and shut case in some cases.

Could they have hired someone else? Like a random person? Yes, for sure. But story kaise barhe gi?

Burhan has his beliefs and reasons. That's up to him. But if he takes the case Beenish will be hurt.

Also, how is Nashwa going to take Asad's case? Isn't taking this case against her husband a conflict of interest?

How I feel? I will wait and see how it unfolds. I have some questions.
