Max, you have unlocked some forgotten memories. Now that I think of it the storyline of Numm was not bad at all. My mind at that age couldn't quite grasp it. These were both geo projects? Back in the day I never looked at what channel aired what content. Bus content aur writer agar acha ho like a novelist that was good enough for me. I didn't care for actors.

As for Numm - I think that’s the closest PTV came to making a Vishal Bharadwaj world kind of a drama. It’s so dark and twisted. Dobara tried to only scratch the surface…they did not go very deep otherwise it had potential but then veered off and became insipid. Still credit to Bilal: he has always chosen different scripts. Numm was on a whole different level..here is a woman who is married off as a young lady to a little boy out of a Khaie/ish revenge and punishment..and becomes his Vani..she practically raises him, is treated like a maid of the house…he is resentful of everything when he grows up ..but can’t help but be drawn towards her..he wants her and they leave it open ended if they ever like you know did it..there are hints but they don’t go for the reveal and she also has a secret which she hid from him and his family ..she got pregnant out of wedlock early on in her teen days and to save her son from being killed she hid him...Fawad mistakes that her son to be her hidden lover ..and thinks she is cheating on him..he wants to kill him.. and the discovers he is his step son..and takes up responsibility as his step dad secretly and finances his further education hiding all of this from his father…obviously he is also married to another younger woman who is from a political family and pretty much hates Sania..and questions Wali multiple times..whether she is like his mother or his wife??..It’s so tricky and dark and angsty and crazy and then in the end..to make amends for everything his father does to Sania’s character..Fawad designates half of the property to her ..and eventually gets shot by some rivals and dies in her arms. I can’t find the episodes anywhere now

I just wrote the whole story of Numm down because i don’t know why Fawad’s flop shows are being dragged to save face on SMD. Also to drive comparison with the shitty af script of SMD..haven’t watched a single episode and yet without fail I see one or two memes on a weekly basis of some slaps and ridiculous stuff like that..Fawad’s stardom is still intact without doing much work…and 10-15 years after Dastaan..When and if Fawad chooses to come back in a proper PTV drama in a proper channel..take it in writing ..the opening episode will break all records on trps!
