Not every Geo show gets 10M. That's a myth. Only GEO shows crossing 10M per episode in 2024 are JN, Kaffara, Khaie, SMD. In 2023, the only GEO shows crossing 10M per episode were TB, Ehram e Junoon, Khumar, Jhoom.

So last two years, only 8 GEO shows (4 in 2023 and 4 in 2024) have gotten YT views over 10M per episode. The majority of projects did not meet this benchmark. So how can you say 10M is minimum for GEO.

What you can say is that for stars like Danish, Feroze and maybe now Wahaj in that list 10M is the minimum (be the show be on ARY, GEO, Hum). So anything under will be considered bad.

that’s true I always bang my head of thinking why mahaj signed krq show. They need kmkt or iqtidaar kind of shows. I can see why wahaj signed bcz it’s diff with playing challenging alcoholic character . Krq is lucky he got wahaj in it or else no one would give shit to this show and his story very honestly. Maya signing this show is even more bizarre. Her script choices have been pretty good and I have not seen her do such weak scripts.

If Wahaj had done Iqtidar, people would be pointing out how domestic violence is being romanticized in a Wahaj drama (the scene in teaser where hero throws heroine against the glass wall and her hands are bleeding), or how a Wahaj drama is glorifying sexual harassment in the workplace (the scene where the hero pulls up the kundi in the office and then stages a fake sexual harassment/sexual assault of the heroine to teach her a lesson). Agar Wahaj yahi Iqtidar karta toh sab ki feminism ki naani daadi jaag jaati plus they will be criticizing how poor the writing and how shoddy the direction is and how much overacting is everyone doing.

P.S. On people comparing TB and Iqtidar. Please. Iqtidar is at best a poor man's version of TB. Shahnawaz looks like a poor man's Murtasim and the performances of the leads are not even a tenth of what Wahaj and Yumna did in their roles.

I think the rumours of many actresses turning down SMD might be true. Maya agreed cos she is Wahaj and Haseeb’s friend. This is also the only time she has worked with 7th Sky

I expect time jumps . I wouldn’t be surprised if ep 12 starts after 3 months. By then Sadaf and Ammar’s relationship might have improved.

They should complete the zaviyar rubberband track in these 2 episodes. Enough of it. It has ruined the potential of the show.
