it's not a love story. we are watching sadaf ki raam kahani jis mai ek side track bilal abdullah ka hai. that's why there is no effort in setting up a love story, no effort in exploring bilal abdullah ki backstory (besides that one scene exposition dump) or his recovery from addiction, and why they didn't bother properly setting up and showing how BA feelings for sadaf have evolved/transitioned. what we will get in the future is how sadaf's feelings have evolved and transitioned because she is the main character and it's her pov.

The way he was telling that he shivers from within while thinking about her or taking her name. Idt he is in love with her yet. Sure he's attracted to her but he's not at the love stage. Even now he's keeping a distance from her.
