I don't think so. Debut actors are eligible and they can win it, but people who have spent working for 0-3 years in industry can also win it. Amna Isani explained it in a Something Haute video.

I don't think it matters. I don't think there should be an award for newcomers or four acting categories for lead actors. It should be something that's hard to win. It's like distributing candy at this point. Yumna gets one candy every year!

• Song of the Year (Viewers' Choice): "Dhun" by Sunny Khan and Inqalab

• Singer of the Year (Viewers' Choice): Ahmed Jahanzeb for "Tera Mera Hai Pyar" from Ishq Murshad

• Artist of the Year (Critics' Choice): Bayaan, Sherazam and Rovalio for "Sapna"

• Most Stylist Artist (Critics' Choice): Aima Beyg for "Satrangi"

• Best Music Producer (Critics' Choice): Abdullah Siddiqui for "Wakhri"

• Most Streamed Song (Viewers' Choice) 😂: "Tere Mera Hai Pyar" by Ahmed Jahanzeb from Ishq Murshad

Ishq Murshad wasn't even eligible this year and it's OST has already won two awards (hasn't happened since Humsafar). At least, Wakhri won one award. I am not covering Fashion Winners because I don't care about what rich celebrities wear.

SH explained Ahmed Jahanzeb and the song can be nominated in music category because it was released in 2023, but it couldn't have been nominated as best ost in drama category because IM is a 2024 show. So in next LSA, Tere Mera Pyar can be nominated for best ost in drama category but cannot be nominated in music category.

Like Kaifi won for Kahani Suno in music category in previous LSA but it was nominated in best ost in drama category in this lsa. Because kahani suno song released in 2022 but MPHT was a 2023 drama

Ahmed should've won for hasrat ost because it's his one of the best ost imo TMYPA reminds me of a jhankar bollywood song
