No I wasn't here nor I have watched the show. I couldn't bring myself to watch the show because of the wrongly interpreted character and loud acting by yumna. But yes I have had heard a lot of praises for him.

I remember watching his only ever interview to sh which he gave for this showHe definitely put in more efforts, he even mentioned how he improvised his scenes a lot and made sure abdullah doesn't come across as retarded, hassan was really impressed by his efforts and performance.

I wasn’t active here but I used to read reviews on twitter. Everyone started praising him from the word go. Yumna got a lot of criticism initially. People were confused whether the character was dumb or mentally retarded. People were specifically criticising her blinking after every second which looked fake.

Towards the end the narrative got changed as Zanjabeel hates her MLs. She can’t write a decent ML as she hasn’t come across one.

Not surprising. Same thing happened with tb and wahaj. During it's airtime, it was murtasim and wahaj everywhere and people were going gaga over his looks and performance whereas yumna was criticized for her styling, performance and her half backed character.

However, all of a sudden, the entire narrative was changed, as somehow yumna was entirely credited for the show's success as supposedly she had better character, and was solely responsible for yumhaj chemistry, while wahaj had no credit in it.

Zanjabeel even ruined zaid's potential in mein, I don't know why she can't write a good arc for the ml.

Zanjabeel is weird when it comes to writing men. Her negative characters magically redeem towards the end but those who start decent become problematic in the middle.
