The last 2 fashion fortnightly have been good and I do enjoy the banter between Amina and Tabish. Amina does so much better here and with her interviews than actual reviews, I feel? Also Tabish has no filter and it’s just a fun watch - given you don’t take either of them too seriously Just pure entertainment

This particular one is the one where they rated all the major actresses and discussed “personal” style. Agreed with the ratings for the most part. I wanted to see a distinction between personal style versus stylist so they touched upon that. They also talked about Hania’s insta game and style which i obviously agree with and loved. Lots of good things overall about all actors. Here are the last 2 videos I enjoyed:

This one has Tabish fanboying over importance of Empathy going hand in hand with stardom and Amina is having none of it Pakka fanboy hai Yumna ka, fashion jaye bhaar main I do agree with him though. A star can be anyone who’s done good work and you are in awe of. But to garner that kind of genuine love from fans, things like good nature, empathy and humility count so much especially in todays world when everything is so transparent

Well, yumna was never known for her styling to begin with. All the unnecessary importance to the looks, styling etc is happening since TB. Those who have seen her previous shows know very well that she isn't really into styling.And, m sure her fans acknowledge that , n in my personal opinion an actor should be known for his or her performances not for the numerous styling and makeup they try for their character.

Actor should be known for their acting which is doing perfectly

Styling is very subjective topic...what one might find stylish others need not

Best thing is she is happy in her own skin and wears what she feels comfortable and not necessarily stylish acc to fashionista

When watching a drama, u get involved with the character and become a part of their journey and not how they are looking or what they are wearing...u look into these things when u r involved with their character or their acting

Yumna is learning and she is taking criticism in positive way and making changes which is an add on

If it’s too in your face like maybe that wig in Bakhtawar? I get it? But for Tere Bin, I just have to laugh when someone mentions that the styling “took away” from her in any way because how are you even nitpicking at the background noise when her performance is so riveting ? You couldn’t take your eyes off of her or Murtasim for one second! let alone checkmark any missing things Who was looking anywhere else? 🤣 Besides her and Wahaj are good looking people, kuch bhi pehna do zyada farq nahi paray ga lol

So for me, don’t agree about TB because I don’t think anything took away from her performance. But for some of her other shows which weren’t that intense and your focus could actually shift elsewhere? Sure. I can buy that

Magar videos ess liye post ki coz they’re now appreciating the shift that’s happened with her and rated her pretty well - also she actually has a personal style which helped the rating too. This was mostly personal style rather than what happens on shows
