Diyar e dil is my all time favorite. Both leads were nicely written and they maturly dealt with their forced marriage. Wali was such a good guy and has the most essential thing self respect unlike the heroes of nowadays. It is fine. Won't call it very good. It actually gives you ITV feels more because of the leads' chemistry..The FL is strong in comparison to many ITV and PTV dramas. It was actually good till 50 episodes, rest of them they screwed up till second last episode..

We enjoyed it because it's villains were hilarious especially the Male villain 🤣🤣he is useless , he always gets defeated by ML. ML's taunts to him were also hilarious. ML is also fine, he isn't shown to be a puppet or get manipulated by anyone but only till 50 episodes 😆 ( total 62 episodes) but still he doesn't turn that bad and toxic 😆

Lastly the banters between FL and MK were cute..

You can watch it, it isn't that bad but also not some masterpiece. You can enjoy it as some light hearted drama despite dangerous looking villains who were more hilarious than serious 🤣🤣

It sounds interesting, will definitely watch it once I get time. My vacation task list is too long at the moment

If you're looking for a good dose of entertainment, drama and comedy then go for it.. It has strong male and female leads.. Fl doesn't take shit from anybody.. ML though, he is badtameez but was sane and smart. Villians are ultimate like one villian can play all sorts of multiple personality role like lover, obsessive lover, business rival, kidnapper, murderer, psycho, pinkish person and what not.. And mother in law is soo sweet and kind yet scary... Both leads insults each other with full respect and confidence. 😆

I'll love to see a no nonsense type female lead but after hearing these many praises for the villains I'll definitely focus on them more now 🤣

Sheroz's death was so heavy on my heart. I cried badly in those episodes.

I don't know but now every ptv drama fails to connect with me on emotional level. It's been long since I cried for any character. The emotional scenes writing has lost the charm maybe now.

Only Saad managed to make me shed a tear or two in the initial episodes.

Like i hate it when ML cheat and FL forgives and just accept them in the end.

So according to me Mehwish cheating and sleeping with other was a sin and she only wanted to come back after she lost everything.

I would add i didn't like the Danish character much as well.

He seemed like very lazy and insecure person.

I don’t mean her husband forgiving her.. you can’t forgive hurt like that .. I am more talking about the general audience acting like it was the greatest crime of all time.. and a lot of them were like poor Danish she hurt his feelings betrayed him.. he acted like a total incel about the betrayal, look in life you don’t always have things your way.. you get betrayed/hurt etc you mop for a while then try to be an adult and move on specially when you have a little kid to take care of.. for him it was his ego that got bruised..

Male protagonists have done worse, like rape/beat up women, cheat etc but the proportion of hate Mehwish got compared to them was too much.. I’m not absolving her of what she did but the double standards and the misogyny of the audience annoyed me the most .. and the way the show was written and how audience was gaslighted also..
