Generally when ML falls in love with FL first, the makers maintain his attitude and also show him doings things for FL. But in the case of FL she completely forgets about everything and her life becomes all about ML and his family.

Same. I'm not speaking this on basis of TV shows coz I didn't see much in these years. But in novels I love when ML's fall first.

I don’t know. By the way things are being shown in TB I assumed it was TB that Wahaj was talking about.
But someone said the guy interviewing Wahaj was involved with MPHT. And when he asked the question Wahaj said something to the interviewer about him being involved and he knows what was shot and the interviewer was being Chalu by asking him this question so wondering if it was MPHT that he was talking about.

@Bold : People didn't bash Murtasim much until he took Haya to village. Till that time, people were praising Murtasim. And they believed when he said Haya was like Mariyam to him.

I am ok with Meerab slapping Murtasim because I took it as Meerab returning his slap. The spitting should not have been there. No educated girl would ever spit on someone like that. And I am disappointed with Yumna for agreeing to the spitting scene. And the slap and spit were not there in the script but they were added by NM before filming of the scene. They were just added before shooting, at that time Yumna could've said no to the spitting scene.

But serious question.. when they knew abt this season 2 thing. Why unnecessarily prolong episodes by dragging them. Kyun kiya. If they end at 50 or 52 without dragging. They could've announced season 2 then. 😶😶

I don't think they were written well in the first place. Bcoz even in the first two episodes they established that Meerab was a snobbish type of character. Ghamandi, battameez and not in a good way. Only for that Meerab is not established as a character equal to murtasim. But if you see deeply murtasim and Meerab are one and the same. They just reacts in different ways. murtasim gives subtle hints in a calm way. While Meerab don't know. She don't have a certain type of characteristic to focus on. I think this is where the writing failed. Meerab was shown as a confusing character but that too requires dialogues, scenes, which there were not.

I’m blaming Siraj as well here. They both deserve credit for TB’s success because they did write good scenes and direct them beautifully. But they both are at fault for its flaws as well. Both have failed in their departments from writing to executing.

When directors aren’t clear about the characters’ thoughts, then they can’t direct them well. They need to understand their characters trials and issues. Siraj and NM had different takes on scenes and characters. There’s lack of good communication in the team.

Add to that, Siraj’s bias. And he seems to be a lot about perspectives as well, leaving things to viewers’ interpretation. It’s a good thing, but these things need to have substantial backing with dialogues too. Perspectives must not take viewers to extreme opposite directions.
