I would rather appreciate moofat actresses like mawra and sajal who raises their voice and make the directors listen to them and change the script rather than a sweet kind soul that slaps and spits the ML onscreen and goes ahead with a MR scene which was gonna be white washed later simply because she wants to be a goody goody two shoes. 👎🏼

Also mad respect to farhan Saeed for refusing to even do a single slap scene.

Guys , I was busy toh missed the tags. Just went through last few pages so here are my cents.

First of all, the issue is not PTV making a regressive content and audience liking it. Audience ka kya hai, majority has been liking such stuffs since ages. The problem is that what Priya ( spnfan) mentioned that then don't present your actors and the drama as some masterpiece. Let's be real and honest, Yumna and Wahaj hasn't some really insane chemist like people make it look like, they are two popular good looking actors who had more intimate scenes in comparison to other Pak dramas, and somewhat gave feel of ITV content, so people stuck to it. I am sure, if there were other popular actors instead of them, TB still would have been as successful lol.

Next , make regressive content but then don't justify it , admit it , that it is wrong. Writer and actors, director justifying MR in the name of romance and story is unacceptable. Tell people then , it's fiction and people shouldn't take it seriously rather than saying what Nooran said in her IV that she wants the youth to have same kind of love like Meerab and Murtasim. How can you say that? Isn't it giving a wrong message to society? Then stop representing your drama like some masterpiece.

Last but not the least , not a fan of Ekta's shows , but in any world her shows and story can't be compared with Pak dramas. Stories get ruined in ITV because of unlimited episodes there but if you can't handle the quality of content with limited episodes like in PTV then I don't know what kind of creativity you hold?

Geo is only making dramas to cater large ITV audience, that's it.

Guys please don't fight what's done is done. We can't do anything. Actors, director, writer ,producers got name fame money and we are here wasting our time arguing with people. Its useless.

Everybody will watch what they wanna watch and like what they like, we can't force others to like what we like.

Tb has been targeted towards a specific audience and it hooked their attention. Likewise KA is for people who like feel good drama, that's about it.

And about spit, it's because of madam yumna, she convinced wahaj and Siraj for the slap scene and I'm sure she must have given the idea of spit and slap🤢

What's with him playing characters with indian origin

In dkd he played role of Indian guy, in resident evil he was hindu as his name was arjun batra and even in this show he's playing a British Indian army officer 🤔

Indian actors ki kami hai kya that these Hollywood people are roping Pakistanis to play Indian characters

It's British India. So there was no Pakistan. Pakistanis and Indians look the same. Toh kya farak padta hai. Indians play Pakistanis as well. It's not like an actor of a different ethnicity is playing an Indian.

I think they're scared to cast these Indian actors in Hollywood as Priyanka Chopra is a big flop in Hollywood she's still in Hollywood coz she married nick Jonas and alia bhatt ka koi bharosa nahi hai in heart of stone despite her being talented btw ahad has nailed it by playing an Indian character in DKD Vishal was his best character ever you can read my review in pak drama recommendations

That's exactly what I have been saying.

Want to watch trashy romance, watch as much as you want. Even I watch it at times and enjoy watching it and I have no problem admitting to it. But don't try to make it into something it's not and then feel offended when other people calls it for what it actually is, ie a trashy romance.
