I know!! She’s an idiot and she’s been made into an idiot for drama’s sake. They did the same to Murtasim when he refused to take MB, Anwar, Meerab to gao but took Haya and then asked H to call Meerab fully knowing the psycho- ness of his cousin. They wanted the drama but they wanted to show that Meeru innocently went there.. so for the sake of character, mental intent is more important as we want to see whether she is guilty or not- she went there against her will. That’s the part to focus on

She did defend their marriage- main uske nikah mein hoon, woh mera shohar hai, Humara rishta majdoot Hota ja raha hai- these are positive signs that’s she’s serious about marriage

But from the moment murtasim stepped inside that flat! Writer made her sooo dirty! Pura character arc bigaar diya meerub ka! From there it was ....like a dead end!

the way she was mum, silent ! Murtasin ke samne ji tarha chup thi! Rohail bolta gaya bolta gaya! Koyi bhi ladki ( jis tarha meerub apni dignity show karti hein) koyi bhi gairat maan ladki sohar se jaisa bhi rishta ho, aise jagah chup nahi rahegi. akele mei marde ek dusre ko, baat apne ek tarfa asique ko konse haq se yeh bakwas karne de!

And that bakwas was also a question towards her character. See what rohail said? " yeh tumhari biwi baad mei, meri mohabbat pehle"

Meerub meerub! Are yo getting what he is indicating??? Tumhe samajh aya? Isne tumhari character par bhi baat le ayi! Ek biwi , apni sohar ki biwi baad mei, but ger mard ka mohabbat pehle kaise?? Ek thappad marni chahiye thi meerub ko! Murtasim ke liye na sahi khudke gairat ke liye! Khudke liye!

Again- they did this for drama but I will try to dissect Norah aunty’s logic here. Why did we get the entire Anwar- Meeru convo before coming to Karachi- to establish to M that Murtu is ruthless and can easily kill in anger. Meerab was scared of this even in the goa which is why she took out the bullets. Here when she sees Murtasim walking - she is supposed to be frozen in fear. She scared because she knows he will react violently. Because no matter how innocently she walked into that flat she looks guilty and she’s scared. She has always been scared of him- remember the walima. Also when he makes her wear the chain, she’s giving sassy answers and he says “ meri qyamat tum samal nahi payogi”’and she shuts up. Also the Andar the Januwar dialogue scared her as did “ tumhe Shaadi se pehle pata nahin tha”

She is scared that there’s a ruthless violent side to him and at the moment she’s too scared to move. From the moment murtu walks in she’s focused on him only- even while R is blabbing she’s staring at Murtu probably trying to figure out how to defuse this situation.

Then last but not least neha! You see what she was saying? Jab rohail se uska haath pakad liya murtasim le samne and murtasim ke gun nikal ne se 2 sec pehle??

She was literally pleading/requesting " rohail mera haath chor do! IS WAKT mera haath chor do please" " " rohail haath chor do pleaseee"

Wtf! Meerub? Is waakt??? Sirf is waakt? Keh na chahiye tha dubara yeh jurrat maat karna rohail haath pakadne ka!

This pissed me off too. I don’t know why they give her such lines.

And this much request pleading? Where's all the power, jerking attitude and all jo murtasim ke liye hota hein!

I thought she was brilliant in this- Yumna I feel- fear that was the primary feeling. She’s scared he will shoot him or hurt her. She’s scared for and of Murtasim. I loved the quaky voice.

I know some of you said murtasim's touch makes her feel something what she doesn't wanna feel isiliye aise jhatka deti rehti hein murtasim touch kare to!

thats the reason for her to behave differently with both men's touch!

But iska matlab kisi aur ka touch woh bhi ek majnu ke touch ko aise request karke churayegi?? Us majnu ka jisne muh par jo bhi aye sab bol diya husband ki samne???

I don’t think she felt anything for R. She gives him attitude when he’s been flirty or sweet aur ab she just allows Murtu to touch her. Post accident she’s very comfortable being touched by him. Anyway back to the point I think she was just really really scared. She wanted R to understand the gravity of the situation.

I hate that kissise na Darne wali, galat baat pe stand wali ladki literally has no lines defending herself. She always lets Murtasim take a stand. Even when the parents were blaming her for the contract I wanted her to speak but sari lines Murtu ko mile. I was watching MPHT when TB teaser was recommended. I saw it and loved the alpha FL and started watching it. And now what they are doing- hate you Nooran aunty

that’s what I was saying yesterday. Murtasim Murtasim karte karte inhone love story Ki waaat laga di. I really hope that the story moves forward this week and we get to see a little bit more of Meerab- her inner thoughts etc or else I am losing interest too very slowly though

Yar vo toh jab aaya tha tab hi dekh liya tha...aise scene main miss nahi karti..repeat pe dekhti hun...mujhe laga sabne dekha hi hoga...sab hawk eyes leke ghoomte hain yahan...
