The friction is between Shibra & her father this time. They had similar morals, yet their perception of Shahmeer is different. Shibra's perception clouded by love & Suleiman's by betrayal. They have detailed conversations & they are calling each other out, only if Durre had a good dialogue delivery the scenes would have come out to be better.

While Shibra liked FB's innocence & goofiness she started falling for him when they started discussing different things. They have had detailed scenes where she was clearly impressed by FB's deep meaningful talks. It was a Shahmeer inside FB talking. She would clearly get surprised when he talked like Shahmeer & would even say that he sounds different.

Also Shahmeer didn't help the family because he wanted Shibra. He had just met her mother when he helped her without even Shibra knowing. Same with Sukaina, he connected with her on personal level. If he had not been Shahmeer Shibra wouldn't have come out of jail. He never took the credit of doing these things for her family, it was Suleiman who started associating these things with him being a maulayi.

Shahmeer's changing of identity has been wrong on his part though, not denying it.

Shameer is the hero and of course he would be forgiven and he would win in the end but it would have been so good to see Shibra's confusion about who Shameer really is..is he a serious politician..does he have a goofy side like Fazal Baksh or was that an act?..is he more like his dad or his mom?

Yes, Shibra did remind her dad that Shameer has Zubaida Sikandar's blood but does she know Shameer at all? How much of it was real and how much of it was an act?

Unfortunately, Shibra has been made to accept Shameer blindly..no questions asked.

About the help part, I honestly don't know if Sukaina's mom and Sukaina would have been on Shameer's side if he had not helped them so much..so it feels like conditional support to me.

Rind is making up for the backlash he received during PKS from Bilal' fans because it became too female centric after a while or may be after watching Durre's performance he decided to cut those scenes

Sukaina's help could be conditional but Shibra's mother adopted him in their first meeting itself

We do generally say that but shahmeer wasn't lying for some greater good. He was lying for his own selfish reasons. All this would have made sense if he changed his identity for some other reason and came to stay at Shibra's house, fell in love with her and courted her. But his entire purpose of changing his identity is to make her fall in love with him. He only showed her the side she wanted to see. He did all those nice things for her and her family to make them like him. There is a purpose to everything he did. Zaroon was very straightforward with what he wanted from her after they met again. He wasn't lying or manipulating her. He straight up proposed her and courted her directly. He proved that he changed and gave her a reason to belive him. Nothing of that sort happened here. One day shibra got to know that the entire identity and personality of the guy she fell for is a fake and the next day after a little ted talk with her system who gaslighted her, everything was swept under the rug and she only cares about her father not agreeing for the alliance for obvious and valid reasons. The drama even shows Sulaiman is in the wrong

How is shibra fine with the fact that shahmeer and Fazal baksh have entirely different personalities?

For me, it's ok to see him coming over Shibra's place to make her fall in love with him. Like people say, this is a love story and it's ok to have the fantasy elements in it.

@Bold: I don't think so that he showed her the side she wanted to see. The first thing being him coming as Fazal Baksh who is not well educated or have the communication skills or the intelligence. He went there with the financial status lower than Shibra's. Shibra doesn't like rich people but it is not confirmed that she will want to be with someone of lower strata at that time. Not only in the financial status but also from education point of view, FB is much lower than Shibra.

I don't think that he manipulated them to like him. He did things for them in expectation of making them to like him. If he had done nothing and gave the impression that he did things then I would consider it as manipulation but here he actually did things for them but in the name of Fazal Baksh.

Shibra forgave him because she is in love with him. She loves him that much where she can forgive him. As far as I understand, she had a preconceived notion that all rich people are bad and corrupted. Now that she is in love with Shameer and also has seen his good side, may be her perception about rich people changed.

I feel that Kashaf did not get enough time to understand Zaroon. Yes, he was straight forward and directly proposed marriage to her. She agreed to marry him based on one gesture.

Sulaiman is wrong to some extent. Like someone mentioned, keeping a young guy in their house where his two young daughters are there is not an intelligent thing to do.

From what I observed, even though he is acting as FB there were moments where he, may be, unknowingly behaved as Shameer. Like the discussions they had on education and coming to love whether it is FB or Shameer the love he has for Shibra is seen in his eyes.

Yeah maybe they picked an easy way out rather than try and make Durre perform let's compromise with the story but let's not risk giving Durre meaty scenes which she's likely to butcher

And now that I think of it you're right..Shibra's mom did connect with Fazal/Shameer for real and her bond with him seems more genuine than others.

Was it that hard to start the story with shahmeer becoming Fazal to get to know people better before he starts his political career and then meeting shibra or his love at first sight for shibra being unrelated to him changing his identity.

This would have made for a great story! It would make complete sense.

Especially when the whole reason for Shameer becoming FB is falling flat on its face.

I am watching this drama nowadays even though I hate this cringe "Qadamon mein rakh doon Sar" wali line from its OST and always have to mute TV ka volume this line ki wajah sy whenever drama ka OST plays drama scene mei.

Mehreen kidnaps Suleiman to separate Shahmeer from Shibra & introduces herself as his to-be wife.

Fb & family get prepared to go to Suleiman's house for the proposal. Nice Shahmeer-Shibra scenes. Shibra tells him to leave as she's perturbed over Suleiman's reaction. Suleiman rejects out of fear. Shahmeer criticizes him for not asking for shibra's consent. Nice that Shahmeer openly questions Shibra about her reaction with Suleiman rejecting the alliance.

Haroon tells Dawood to only bring positive news.

Shibra criticizes Suleiman for being spineless. Suleiman being adamant of getting Shibra married to Farhad.

Nice ending Shahmeer-Shibra scenes. Shibra asked Shahmeer to leave & he mentioned that he doesn't mind as he's lost in his love for Shibra.

Nice episode!

I loved today's episode. So many feels I got even though romance is not my preferred genre.

I loved Bilal throughout & Dure performed better today.
