Do Bol, Yakeen ka Safar, Chupke Chupke.....Pak mein romantic show toh mujhe abhi tak sirf ZGH, Mere Humsafar and Tere Bin hi laga hai because of the chemistry.

Have you seen fatmagul in Turkish. There are few others but Turkish dramas can be a headache too draggyyyhyyyyyy and too many Side plots.

Also when people watch Yumna in this show ,they discover her more shows that's how an actor works.

Even Deepika did Pathaan at such stage in her career where she was an eye candy in songs but that helped her reach to more audience which will be here to watch her new solo movie.

Yumna is doing good job balancing every type of show. There is a reason Yumna reached this kind of popularity outside Pakistan and not Sajal.

I get it show is problematic but for most people the hook is chemistry and romance. Sometimes people just want to be entertained

Deepika had an important role in pathaan and she wasn't a flowerpot. She had good screentime and a lot of action scenes. The movie had 3 leads and she was one of them. Her role in pathaan can definitely not be replaced by disha patani or Jacqueline. even though the biggest highlight of pathaan was srk after 4 yrs John and Deepika had equally important role as srk. The movie wasn't a one man show. The viewership and attention she brings is huge whereas in tere bin everything revolves around murtasim and even the director seems to be crushing over murtu. Meerab as a character is being compromised to elevate murtu. Even when her decisions make sense she will be still proven wrong at the end just to show murtu in a better light. When the director himself is giving IVs telling meerab is wrong even for taking a stand for someone weaker in the society how can we say meerab is as important as murtu or meerab as a character is important in the career of an actress like yumna?

I highly doubt people that are hooked to completely commerical shows like tere bin will be interested in watching yumna's other shows. The people going to go back and watch those shows will be very less. Pyaar ke sadkey used to create a lot of buzz when it was onair and yumna got a lot of fans and appreciate. She also did razeulfat during the same time which was a hit as well but that popularity didn't help with the viewership of dil na umeed toh nahi or ishqelaa or baktawar.

If we look at the pak dramas with 15-20+m views on YouTube all are mainly love stories with a very basic storyline and good chemistry with the leads or where the ML is extremely problematic but served as a macho alpha male and the drama will be of high production value. But if these same actors does a different story with not much intense or colorful story it won't bring in half the viewership. Duree was a relatively new face when she did ktk but that drama had 20+ m views. The main attraction was danish taimoor and his toxic character. She as an actor had little to no contribution to the viewership. The main attraction of mere Humsafar was Farhan saeed's hamza and the chemistry between the leads. Hala was crying for 7 episodes till he showed up and the drama was barely getting noticed but when he ended the viewership and popularity increased. Now farhan is seen in mere sheshzadi with the same director but that manages to barely get any viewership because it neither has a central love story nor a glorified ML. Farhan saeed's star power isn't working. In short a drama being popular on YouTube and social media with high number of viewers won't help the actors with their future projects as long as they go with a typically story. Tere bin's success and viewership won't reflect on yumna's other artistically superior projects or help her increase her starpower. If anything it only helped wahaj to be the hot new trend and made him an A Lister. Even then if his next is something similar to jo bichard gaye then his popularity and craze still won't help that drama with huge viewership. He will get critical acclaim and get praised for his performance but the drama won't be the talk of the town or treading on Twitter.
