Even in general few years back i didn't know many PPL who got divorced but ab to there are many
I feel everything is unpredictable people get divorced even after long relationships and people who decide to get married in 2-3 months live together forever
To ye bhi nhi bol sakte ki take time to get married.
Everyone has different journey different situations
In some situations people should compromise and in some they should not .
Its true. I myself know 3-4 of my friends getting divorced within 1-2 yrs of marriage but most are arranged marriages. There were a lot of college couples that broke up after college but the ones that got married are still married and have kids. I am from Kerala and i guess in India, Kerala has the most divorces. The state is a wierd mixture of modernism and patriarchy. The ones that are modern are very open minded and the ones that aren't are way too patriarchal.
I guess even if it's arrange marriage they should take time to get married. I know a lot of people that backed out of arranged marriages when they realised they cannot spend the life together. Its better to break off an engagement than getting a divorce.
A marriage will break off if its meant to break up whether it's love or arranged but i guess it's still better to know each other enough before getting married.
Divorce is no more a stigma and most people don't feel the need to compromise themselves for a relationship that they feel isn't worth it. I guess as long as two people are not happy in a relationship there is no need to push it further just for the sake of society. Why be unhappy just to show the society? At the end mental peace is way more important.
