it was good to see scenes finally from ushna's side as well and not just shehroze. he is so much more vocal about how he feels about her. whereas, it is clear from her fears of losing him that she returns his feelings. she is petrififed that she will lose the happiness she is now feeling and he will return to being indifferent and annoyed with her.

This!! She is not filing any complaint against him because she is not able to see Sufiyan being that evil. Having grown up watching him as someone who treated her nicely and her parents, she still feels that Sufiyan running after her is not harassment but his ego, emotional and stubbornness. I wont blame her for this mainly because I understand her not being able to identify his true intentions as anyone would be in her place until she really gets to know till what extent Sufiyan can go.

As much as I was pissed with Ushna for being confused , this episode has made certain things clear for me. Her not being so vocal to Shehroz mainly because she was feeling guilty for what happened to him, thanks to Naima for catalysing those fears . She looks so tensed all the time as if something keeps going in her mind. She keeps thinking negative which finally she told Shehroz and I was happy that she did. I do not know why but I feel her declaration of love will come at crucial point which director has reserved for later when she will feel free out of all the guilt and fear and will completely accept Shehroz as her love of life which she has done already but the confession awaits.

I felt writing about this out of nowhere as I see many people still feel that Shehroz's declaration of love is too fast. Even i felt that ,but then I pondererd over this and i get reminded of Zaroon of Zindagi Gulzar hai , thanks to @mango.falooda for the analogy.

Apart from him always being attracted to Ushna since first meet ,which we have already discussed to seeing her vulnerable side on graveyard, there was something else which made him surrender all his ego in front of her.

Shehroz was always sensitive from inside. It was clear from the start how he fought with his father because he needed him as a kid. Because of that , he started pourinf out that frustration on another people like Naima said. He needed a companion but with Zunaisha , he could not enjoy because he was too sensitive about his mother. Plus , he was attracted to Ushna because he could see the same qualities he needed in a girl always, someone who challenges him, someone who takes care of his mom. Something very similar like Zaroon of Zindagi Gulzar Hai. Zaroon hated Kashaf but when he met again with her and pondered over the kind of life partner he wanted ,he could only recall Kashaf. After marriage, they started to see each other differently like husband and wife and hence the acceptence and love.

When Shehroz married Ushna, he was still the same Shehroz but he was enjoying being a husband. He was smiling in the nikah ceremony, on the breakfast table and in the office. Now ,he had someone who he can share his feelings with , someone of his age as until now, we only saw his mom as his companion. When he sees Ushna crying , he comes to her ,asks her to share her feelings with him. But when Ushna says, that he is not close to her heart, he actually gets upset. Then his heart to heart conversation with his mom, pushes him further to again go to Ushna ,talk to her keeping aside his ego, where even he says sorry to her ( the same guy who once said he will never say sorry to her). He realised he needs to change his behaviour for her to accept him and he did that. He did not want to lose his companion and the one he has accepted as the love of his life.

Well, it is good to see how Ushna and Shehroz have the fear of losing each other. They have come a long way.

hope the writer comes up with a clear arc on such gaslighting and manipulation should be handled. if done well, it can teach viewers on how best to handle such people and what not to do. really don't want some weird redemption arc where he and his family magically become good. instead, lets have them pay the price for their madness.

That whole family acts like the whole world owes them something, look how mad Sadaf got when Shehroz told her to leave and that he wasn't giving her the job. Shehroz was restrained enough when Sadaf was literally sitting there spewing garbage about Ushna, yet see how crazy Sadaf gets when Huzaifa and Mehnaaz talk about Sufiyan. All hypocrites, all people that have no problem dishing it out, but can't take it when others do the same to them.

I wanna know how and what would make Sufiyan stop, he's beyond irritating these days and I need his blackmailer to step up his efforts to bleed that family dry asap. Sufiyan is beyond redemption and he doesn't deserve it, I don't feel any love for Ushna, all I can see is someone sinking lower and lower for the sake of his bruised ego. I suspect his feelings for Ushna got more intense because his parents were dead set against it at first, and then when there were more and more opposition, he suddenly felt like it was a me vs the world situation. It would fit with his narcissistic personality.

According to the BTS, he will be in hospital in future , so most probably that will be the time when he realises his mistakes. I do not know whether it should be the director adopted to show his redemption. Whether redemption should be there of him or not, that is another question in my mind. 😳

Has Wahab stopped giving food to Zainab? Why is she acting like a bhukhad? What's up accepting dawat from brothers? I guess Zainab has killed all her working brain cells by applying extra layer make up on them. She has lost it. And that gross red lipstick. What was she expecting from Wahab? There's something wrong with Mukhtar uncle's genes. Only good thing is that Ushna doesn't have any blood relation with them. She is giving a valid reason to Naeema to regret her decision.

If there ever is a redemption arc, then he should repent sitting in jail, which is where he belongs. Feeling apologetic just doesn't really cut it considering his actions. 😔
