Love marriages, in today's day and age, falling apart after 1 year is always a mystery to me. I mean couples date for 3-4 years, live-in or almost live-in for most of it, then get married n bam divorce! Matlab aisa kya Naya pata chal jata hai with a ceremony that negates all the previous years' experience.

Like you said, Ahad and Sajal milked as much as they could, of their popularity. So now no point playing the privacy card. I mean wasn't their whole wedding sponsored - from the Abu Dhabi locations to outfits to jewelry everything! I mean I like freebies too but my wedding is not when I would choose to get everything sourced and sponsored especially when I can afford it myself. (same feeling for VicKat wedding.)

From the appearance of things, it doesn't seem like an amicable or cordial or respectful divorce. I mean they don't seem to have split on decent terms or so it feels, given how their families are reacting, how Ahad & family didn't show up at Saboors wedding.

My gut feeling is that Ahad or his family (read mom😜) messed up because Sajal looks like the girl who would give her everything to keep the marriage afloat. She looks like the 'uske rang mein rang jaungi' types, do what he likes, be what he likes kinda person whereas he comes across as more sure and confident about his self.

P. S.: Anyone remember how during their Nikaah rituals, the maulvi says Ahad's name wrong first time? Tabhi laga tha mujhe yeh toh bada ashubh hua ke he took groom's name wrong like bad omen n all.. And see how it ended up! 😜

This is completely out of order. No one dies because some random couple split up. Children don’t even die when their parents split up, let alone this. I really don’t understand fan culture, it’s so toxic. Fans need to get a grip and realise that they don’t know these people or have any say in their lives. Nor do any of these actors decisions have an impact on their lives. They need to focus on their own real lives and stop obsessing over celebrities.

I don’t get how Mawra or Hania can have anything to do with someone else’s marriage. So am a bit confused about why people are dragging them into it.

What I will say is that I don’t think Ahad and Sajal have handled the divorce well. They are celebrities, and like you said they did cash-in on their relationship. When the rumours about their breakup started they should have just released a short statement to let people know and stop speculation. Something like: ‘unfortunately we have made the sad and difficult decision to part ways. We ask you to please respect our privacy during this difficult time.’ That’s all they needed to say and it would have stopped a lot of the crazy rumours and speculation. Instead they were both really immature about it. Here’s a rough timeline of how they actually handled it:

1) Ahad’s mother stopped following Sajal (was that really necessary?)

2) A picture came out of Ahad with a white girl

3) Sajal posted an Instagram story talking about ‘home wrecking whores”

4) Ahad completely ignored Sajal’s projects

5) Sajal does an interview talking about how much Ahad loves her, and says he’s not been with her because he’s currently not in Pakistan

6) On the same day Ahad is spotted in Pakistan

7) Ahad didn’t turn up to Saboor’s wedding. Instead he’s pictured at a friends wedding in Dubai.

8) Sajal reverts to her maiden name

9) It’s confirmed they’re divorced.

So they do need to shoulder some of the blame for all the speculation around their divorce. The way they handled it made it seem as though they had a very messy break-up and Ahad had an affair. Like I said, this could have been avoided if they released a short statement and didn’t do any of the other messy things they did.

I agree with everyone, they handled the divorce terribly. They should have been more mature and honest with their fans. There is nothing to be ashamed of or hide anything.

I think they most likely got together because that’s what the fans wanted and they ended up believing the same. Things change a lot after marriage no matter how much time you have spent with a person beforehand.

I also think something big happened for them to end the marriage so soon. I mean Ahad’s father is a well respected actor in the industry and I feel he would do anything to for them to not divorce for his reputations or whatever. He just seems like that kind of guy but who knows. And I doubt we will ever know

The sucky part is that we won’t ever get to see them onscreen again and that sucks cause they actually had a good chemistry esp in YKS.

Only extra marital affair can break a marriage in this way, everyone's behaving way confirms it. Things maybe got worsen when Ahads parents started to babysit him.

Anyway why are they asking for privacy when they put everything on Instagram?

I know the hot topic on this thread is the alleged divorce of Ahad Raza Mir and Sajal Aly. However, I'll restrict my comment to this drama itself.

Ahad Raza Mir's limitations as an actor have definitely been exposed. He appears rather stiff and his expressions are juvenile at best.

I believe I've said this before but I'd hoped Affan was cast here, opposite Ramsha. They were short changed in Shehnai.

Honestly,.I think it's really telling that every celebrity who has spoken about this divorce is either wishing Sajal all the best or telling the public to give them their privacy. No one has wished Ahad all the best, so far.

No one know what actually happened..all we know is that Sajal posted an Instagram story about 'home wrecking whores', which makes you think something must have happened. Don't know for definite though, obviously.

I have seen him with ramsha and the chemistry is pretty mediocre

Here the worse casting is that of junaids

On the contrary Affan would have suited junaids role as he is good cook himself and he would have looked good with Sara

I know Ahad is terrible in comedy thanks to ehd e wafa where obi and AAA saved the comedy dept

But I still want to give him a chance here
