I do taraweeh sometimes at 3 am. It is very hot here.. and no electricity for 16 hrs everyday. I fell a sleep soon after inftaar. And I delay taraweeh untill electricity comes. 😒

But thats tahajjud na? Not taraweeh

I used to do taraweeh before marriage. Now I feel too old and tired. My legs start hurting and I get heart palpitations. I am so unfit I will try to do them in last 10 days though

Taraweeh can be done late at night. It is just because ppl are used to do it early at night that they think it can't be done later. 😃

May Allah gives you better health, and helps you. You can pray while sitting. If you can. You can just read Quraan only.. there are many ways for worship. May Allah accepts from you 🤲

You mean taraweeh and tahajjud are the same? Some say that in taraweeh you should do 8, some say 20, and some say its sunnat instead of nafl🤔

I don't want to pray while sitting when I can stand. I would only do that if I had no option left.

Taraweeh in Ramadan replace Salat ul Qiyaam , because Taraweeh is qiyaam and tahajjud too. If you pray Ishaa. Sleep and wake up late at night to pray you call it tahajjud. Difference is that taraweeh has a number of rakaat : 20.. and some say 8. While qiyaam or tahajjud have no number, also taraweeh are for Ramadan , and can be done in masjid in jama'ah .. with imam and all. while qiyam is done at home and not in jama'ah.In Ramadan specially the last 10 they pray tahajjud in masjid late at night. It is like witr.. from 3_ 13 rakaah.

See. All of these are fine. It is after all named : Qiyaam. Only there are special names for them acc to the part of night they are done in. And the season. In Ramadhan Taraweeh is the most followed sunnah. Witr is the name of the single rakaah you pray by the end of your Qiyaam . If your niyyat is to pray at night for Taraweeh. You can do it then 3 witr.. then it is gr8. In rest of months do whatever you want. if you pray before sleeping it is qiyaam and witr. If you sleep then wake up late at night, then it is tahajjud. 😊
