Exactly, he is mute but he still gets triggered by Mahi only, remember the bead incident in the train, that made him cry, even when Roma triggered him about his past, so Mahi triggers him and the way he stumbled backwards, the reaction was more like he got jolted, he definitely will feel that something is OFF about that place.
