I think an anti-hero role would suit him really well. But do Pakistani dramas even have anti heroes?

Many. We had many good ones : Noor in Bey Khudi , Feroze Khan in Khani , Azfar Rehman in Nazr E Bad , Danish Taimoor in Ab Dekh Khuda Kia Karta Hai and Deewangi , Zahid Ahmad in Visaal , FQ in Khalish. And many others.😃

I don’t think I would consider many of them anti heroes. FQ was the hero in khalish for example. I don’t think a person can be an anti hero if there isn’t a hero alongside him.

No he isn’t a villain, he is just not with the hero but isn’t bad either. An anti hero is someone who does bad for a greater good. For example catwoman is an anti hero, I guess snape in Harry Potter would qualify as well.

EDIT: oh it’s some Indian tv show, I haven’t watched it. Here is an actual definition of an anti hero, “An anti-hero is a protagonist who lacks some of the conventional attributes of a traditional hero — like courage or morality. While their actions are ultimately noble, they don’t always act for the right reasons.”
