Aamina Sheikh isnt that good and Arij isnt that good in acting either.

I personally think Aamina Sheikh is an excellent actress. Arij is above average, whereas I'd class Mahira as solidly average.

I agree the comment was dumb but a dumb comment isn't cause for a ban. If it is, bans should be consistently meted out to everyone who makes a dumb comment. Although, you'd probably be left with no actors, producers, directors, because they all chat nonsense at some point.

Mahira has all the right to be upset, Mahira is not at fault in this, she has maintained her dignity and has given an answer in the most appropriate manner

It is all these people like Momina and Mawra who are trying to demean Firdaus Jamal like the comment Mawra also made was not good

Bushra Ansari made fun of the young lot of actresses in a morning show that, they are so skinny and so weak that, they cannot shoot all day long and want rest always, no one targeted her, like why only for one person whereas many actors would be backbiting about their colleagues

This Mawra is an arrogant female, Mahira is also nto the biggest name in the industry , so Mawra's reaction is only because Mahira is the biggest name or would she have stood for anyone , double standards of her

I don't feel Firdaus Jamal did it for any fame, he does nto need publicity to be known, this remakr is also nto necessary , he is already known for his craft, he was disrespectful, but that does nto mean he wanted to use Mahira's name to be popular, he is also a popular name like Mahira and ahs worked even more than her

It's a rather dumb move to make- I don't think anyone would base buying a ticket to that movie on what Firdous Jamal has to say.

Regarding the thing where they think you MUST love Mahira and Humsafar, yes! Go on twitter and you'll see a certain reviewer calling people names and stooping down to personal insults because you don't like her favorite actress.

And its not limited to Mahira alone, there's so many others that people will take up arms against for and start harassing people over their opinions on a certain actor or actress. Even if its something along the lines of "I really think X could improve, they're just not impressive to me yet" or "I don't like Y show." Are people just not entitled to an opinion anymore?

Yes I agree, it is not limited to Mahira alone, many Indian celebrities and shows are also expected to be appreciated by everyone, so yeah I agree about it , you just have to go by the majority

There are many actors and actresses that have such fans whoc annot tolerate anything against their favourite actor or show

MK actually looks younger now than she did when she played Khirad lol

Anyway, everyone is entitled to have an opinion and while MK may not have legendary acting skills, heck she is not even a conventional beauty, but she has a luminous screen presence and a ton of star power.

What Firdaus Jamal said was wrong in every way. Degrading someone to such an extent is such a horrible thing to do. I love Mahira and I like her more offscreen than onscreen but I still don't get all the hype around her. Like when did she become the biggest star of the industry? Till Bin Roye she was just a well known name and now suddenly she is the superstar of the industry. 🤔 Idk the whole transformation? Is it because she also played a Bollywood movie and that she has played a lot of pk movies too? Whatever it is banning someone for just stating his opinion (which was nothing but down right rude) still seems low.

No offence to Mani and Hira, but even they have said many bad things about celebrities in their morning show , they even made fun of Ayesha's plastig surgery and so many things, but still no one banned them

Or even Yasir Hussian who constantly passes inappropriate comments and no one takes any action against him, like even he called Mahira a bad actor when he was aske din a live that who is a better actor between Iqra and Mahira, he said that, if Mahira knew how to act , he would have taken her name.

@ bold, omg they're the worst! They make fun of people all the time! I didn't watch their morning show but I remember a show they came on and they made fun of other actors and laughed along. Then there was another where Mani encouraged Hira to do mimickry of other actresses. I mean they're are husband and wife in same industry so I get that they jointly discuss and make fun of people but they should do it in their own private space not in front of all the people.
