Hashir and Mashal from the beginning of the episode till the new beginnings of Mr. and Mrs. Hashir.
The episode began with a beautiful and a pious moment where Mashal was on the prayer mat in conversation with Allah. She knew that Rehan was looking for her means Ramsha is looking for her and it is only possible when she visited Hashir’s place. Now Ramsha from the very beginning has held a place of respect for Hashir and she also knows Mashal is in love with Hashir and how much Hashir cares for Mashal, so there was no way she would hide Mashal’s whereabouts from Hashir. Once Hashir knew where she was he and Abbas would not let her stay at the shelter because Hashir has always felt responsible for Mashal and also Abbas being her nice uncle would not allow ghar ki beti to live at a shelter like an orphan. Mashal has finally found a way fo rher dream of higher education can be realized and also she could stand on her own two feet and lead a respectable life. Since Hashir and Abbas would not let her live there, there was a chance of that dream being shattered cause I think the benefactor only sponsored girls who were alone in this world. Mashal shared that worry with Allah but then also left her life decision in HIS hands. Wo khwab Allah ne uski aankhon mein daala tha and if Allah does not want it to come true so be it.

So finally Hashir ki itne dino ki talash poori hui he knows she is at the shelter, drops everything and goes to her.
At the shelter office, we can see his heart through his eyes. He felt guilty and was ashamed that he could not protect Mashal as he had promised Apa ji when the warden said if she had koi apna she would not have come to the shelter. Well from what she knew she was right in saying so but Hashir se zyada Mashal ka apna apa ji ke baad aur koi nahi than a hai. When Mashal comes he was upset that she left home when she was thrown out she did not reach out to him when he has always assured her that he would be within her reach whenever she needed him. He has always been there he was her one constant.Again it showed us his emotions which run deep inside him. If he had known of her love for him even then it would be the same reaction, as a cousin, a protector, now with these two roles another emotion was added he was the man she was in love with and who had fallen for her too. Now coming to Mashal,anyone in her place would refuse to go back to that hell even if she had not found a way to achieve her dream of education and becoming a professional. I now feel in a way it was for Hashir too, when he had said I will find a rishta for you she had said aur kitne ehsaan karenge, she has seen how much he has done and tries to do for her. He was always caught in the middle. He would have to fight his mother and others for her. He would suffer to keep her away from sufferings. So it was for best of both of them that she stay at the shelter. Oh her reaction when he said Apa ji ne mujhe tumhaara muhafiz banaya tha, she was like here he goes again with the farz and zimmedari talk.
When the warden spoke about him being Na Mehram for her he had never thought of something like that. He always saw her as a younger sibling of course the society and people around them did not see it as so. But the makers always showed us as him being a na mehram for her in a very pure and simple way, Mashal rarely went in front of him nange sar. It was not exactly a parda from him but it meant that he is na mehram for her. He had only one way to become a mehram rishta for her where he could do whatever he wanted for her without being questioned of his intentions of fingers pointing at their innocent relationship. He has always been there for her, done everything in his power for her, he wanted her to fulfill her dream, he also got her enrolled in college paid her fees from his own pocket, but she couldn’t attend I guess she was to graduate as Mashal Hashir.
When he said he would marry her it seemed impulsive but he was ready. Her expression there was like WT he wants to marry me, why how? She clearly did not know the details of his break up, his finding he diary and coming to know of her feelings for her, her true love touching his heart and he falling for her. When he spoke about reading the pages of her diary she realized that he knows she is in love with him and when he reminded her about Apa ji saying Kun Faya Kun how jaata hai we don’t know when and how but our prayers are answered no matter how long they take and there she realized he loves her too. She had no idea how she would be welcomed back by Faseeha and Areesha but she trusted him and agreed to marry him.
Their nikaah, when he had said he would marry Bisma without permission if he was forced to do so I had said Bisma ke time baat toh ki hai Mashal ko seedha nikaah padhwa ke hi le aayega and aisa hi hua. When she did not answer for the first 2 times he got impatient also cause she did not say yes with her own mouth sharmana was not enough she could have felt it that way then but then also might have had reservations about going back to that hell as his wife. There she was thanking her lucky stars and here iski jaan sookh rahi thi but when she said yes oh my, had Hashir smiled so brightly ever in the drama? I think not. Mr. and Mrs. Hashir ka first time eye contact hua and it spoke volumes. . He was so proud of her and it was nothing new but it was now in a different light he was now proud to have her as a life partner, a partner who puts others before her, who spreads goodness, good people fall in love with her wherever she goes.
When they were entering his home, his hand firmly gripped her shoulder, she looked at him she was nervous about the reaction but she had faith in him as he was full of confidence that he can and will get his wife accepted by his family. He knew that Faseeha was repenting and wanted Mashal, the niece back home safe and sound but for her to return as Hashir’s wife, it’s altogether another thing. He was holding her, as in I am with her we are together and not like she belongs to me, she is mine(how Faraaz treated Bisma).
The family was so happy seeing Mashal back ki no one registered her red dupatta and questioned about it. It was good that Hashir immediately told his parents that Mashal and he got married at the shelter, good thing there was no how why. Shadi ho gayi good tum khush hum khush. When Abbas gave her money as salami, she looked at Hashir asking for permission, as a wife she respected him and he guided her to take it, cause bade jis tarah se blessing de we should accept it. Faseeha when asked for forgiveness he said ‘ammi’, he knows Mashal deserves to be apologized to by all but Faseeha is his mom too, and he knows more that asking for forgiveness from her giving Mashal, love and respect would heal her faster. Hashir showed he can balance his relations, mom and wife dono ki respect ek baat se rakh li. Again,Areesha ki taraf he encouraged Mashal to go cause she is now older in relation so bade aage chalkar maaf karte hain choto ko, he has taken the role of a husband in a very positive manner, guiding his wife to take the right direction. In olden times they used to sy it is the duty of a husband to guide his wife cause she used to stay mostly confined with 4 walls and did not know bahar ki duniya ab aisa kuch nahi hai but Hashir is playing the role of a husband very well.
He was so happy watching Mashal sitting between Abbas and Faseeha and being showered with the affection she rightly deserved. Again when Shama and Uabid came, Shama asked for forgiveness, I did not like her mention Burhan but she needed that forgiveness for her peace of mind. Mashal suffered a lot but finally she got what she wanted and deserved, love and respect of her elders. To be treated like a family member, their own.
Stolen glances kuch na kehkar bahut kuch keh dete hain. I don’t think there was any harm if family members came to know that Mashal has been in love with Hashir, it would have been cute but then I felt if Faseeha came to know when Mashal and she were alone she would have been really happy,that her son got a wife who is in love with him and not some compromise (other show they might have shown it as such). Well just let me imagine she comes to know later on and tells Hashir he is lucky to have a wife who is crazy about him and to always value her.
Baraat/Rukhsati
When I had seen that BTS video I had thought ye kya tent daal diya hai Mashal par but in the actual scene it was nicely draped. I have never as far as I remember a dulhan being sent away draped in a chadar, here the chadar had a meaning/reason and a very beautiful one. It was a very happy and beautiful moment, something what Apa ji wanted all her life was made possible by her two fav and accha bacchas, they united the family. Not only Mashal got love and respect but also Hashir was accepted by Shama.
