There is also an element of luck/qismat to what happened. Not to absolve Hatim of his guilt, but we know that Kashif Mehmood's character had seen Ramsha on the CCTV, and had those goons not shown up so soon after, he would have been able to get to her in time to help her.

Of course, this assumes that he's playing a positive character in the future helping the police pursue the actual criminals.

I think the question of morality is going to be the interesting thing in this drama, so we'll see where this goes.

Ruby so far drama is realistic...reality of life and how people are more grey than black and white

Yes Sami. The characters are realistic and one can connect with them. Mohib is playing Hatim very well. Let's see how the story unfolds. Do watch the episodes tonight and catch up. Let me know what you think of Hatim then.

Yes the twist is debatable, some will find Hatim directly guilty while some wont. I am still feeling so bad for Ramsha and her family. She got such a brutal end which will always leave a bad taste despite Hatim full redemption

Mohib acted really well yyesterday and I liked his dialogues of gunnah but I liked how his mother didnt add to his guilt by accusing him, she rather consoled him and asked him to seek forgiveness from Allah.

The show is different and appealing so far

All the examples mentioned above are accidents, they were not done on Purpose, which hatim did. He left her on purpose not by a mistake or accident.

And I guess this is the inner fight we will witness of hatim through out the drama and ultimately what her sister decides as his fate.

Exactly she kept begging him yet he left her there. Why didnt his anger cool off a bit and he coming back to find her in the same night? next day he behaved as nothing happened, Did he think she will get home safely?

Ramsha trusted Hatim but he broke her trust.

Today's episode belongs to hatim. The way mohib mirza acted when hatim came to know about ramsha's that was too good. He portrayed guilty hatim so well. Hatim is fighting with inner war. This guilt will remain with him throughout his life. Liked the way her mother is supporting him and taking care of him. Hatim is indirectly involve in ramsha's death. Let's see what will happen next and what would be the fate of hatim.

I don't know how Hatim going back the night of would have helped Ramsha at all? The other car showed up almost right after he drove off, so she would have been gone even if he drove back five minutes later. And assuming he goes back and find her gone-what would he have done?

I dunno, blaming Hatim entirely for what happened to her feels like it ignores the responsibility of the actual criminals who did the heinous act. The ones who in factual, legal terms were responsible for this. We can have different subjective takes on the Hatim situation and how responsible we hold him (because he's in no way innocent), but surely the people who actually did the criminal act are responsible because seeing a girl alone doesn't mean that you're allowed to do whatever you want to her?

Going back to find her would have made his character look a bit better than he looking right now. It would have showed that he cared and it was just plain anger which led him to do that and he never intended to harm her seriously how did he expect her to get home?

If the thought that something might happen to Ramsha had occurred to him he would have gone back to look for her. But it didn’t. Like his mom assumed, so what if you told her to get out, she would take a taxi and go home.

Anyways in my other post I mentioned kids being left in the car by parents causing death. They were accidents. It has happened a lot in USA. The parents completely forget the child who they are supposed to drop to the day care, they weren’t deliberate. Think of the guilt those parents face.

That's what I was thinking.Even the mother thought it was natural and being who she was she was ok to go back home herself.

Assumption is so so wrong. He could have gone bk after a few mins and check on her. Leaving a girl alone in the middle of the night on a deserted road was the limit of cruelty. A mistake causing rape and death of a girl is more than a mistake. Its inhuman.

exactly...how can he not be blamed for her murder? Wasnt it his responsibility to make sure she reaches home safely?
