Mohib Mirza is back on TV after a long hiatus of four and a half years; it was important for Mohib, that his comeback doesn't go unnoticed and leaves a lasting impression on the audiences. He was very passionate and excited, indeed he prepared for the role to a large extent i.e. losing weight, changing his body structure and dialect etc.

Sanam and Mohib play Resham and Zardaab. I can't reveal much about their characters. I am thankful to them for trusting my vision and coming on board, as both the actors portray an intense dramatic role for the first time.

We were shooting at such locations which were challenging, the erratic weather, disconnectivity from the rest of the world, weather conditions, incidents, walking up the mountains where the oxygen level decreases.

At times we couldn't shoot the estimated scenes as per the schedule. I hope we get the due response of our sheer hard work.

The promotional campaigns and teasers are already on air. We didn't make the drama just to fulfill the formality. It's high time one should get rid of the stereotype mold of dramas and typical scripts to facilitate the audience with a breath of fresh air.

Deedan will stand out due to its unique concept and inspire many others in the same genre to take the plunge and deliver stupendous content that will pave ways of success.

I want to bring our youth back to watching Pakistani dramas, says Deedan director Amin Iqbal

Deedan is one of the most hotly anticipated dramas this season and it isn't by accident.

Starring popular actors Sanam Saeed and Mohib Mirza in lead roles, the drama has edged its way into our awareness with a steady stream of promos and BTS on Instagram sometimes dark imagery full of foreboding and sometimes bright, beautiful photos from up north.

Director Amin Iqbal says that it was his vision to use digital platforms to create curiosity about the project and hopefully entice young millenials to watch his drama.

"Nowadays our youth is all about Netflix, etc. I hope to bring them back to watching our local TV dramas through the effective use of digital campaigns," he shared with Images.

He feels young people may respond to Deedan due to his departure from the usual saas bahu content. "We chose to show a different culture [in Deedan.] It follows the journey of [Sanam Saeed's character] Resham," he said, adding that "the story is our own, it's fictional and doesn't originate from that culture."

He added that Deedan is a special project for his other star Mohib because it marks an end to his 4-year hiatus from TV.

"Mohib Mirza is returning to the small screen after 4 years. He is excited about the project and wants to leave an impact with it. He's prepped himself for the character, changing his body language and style, losing weight and transforming his get up altogether. I don't think actors work so hard in films as he has done for this drama."

Moi really really loved loved d Sanam in d 3 rd teaser
Last scene just wow

Her dialogue delivery is diff from other dramas

Is it bcz she is playing sm community girl ?

Production , music , Sanam , her parents n villains al r top notch till nw

The way they r releasing d teasers awesome too
