I think Tanu weds Manu was one of his really good movies, right ?
And he's now more into Tamil movies, if I am correct.

After watching Fawad in ZGH, I can't stop admiring the actor. I was just googling him
On Wiki & guess what...he started as a singer for many years before acting.
& Mishal has been an actor first & now venturing not singing...is it a coincidence or what that
some of us enjoy these two actors equally !!!!😉

Ok @Ami & Avani, I was able to make a better profile pic. now..😆

Wondering where Is Dazz ??
She usually visits atleast once in 24 hrs.
Dazz, hope you are fine😃

Mish Madhavan has always concentrated on south indian movies than Hindi. Intact his entry to bollywood was much later. His two movies with Mani Ratnam Alaipayuthey(Saathiya is the hindi version done years later) and Kannathil Muthamittal are just amazing movies!!
yes Tanu weds Manu and returns both are too good. And Rang de basanti every time i watch i cry when his character dies. P.S:I still cant see your profile pic 😭 May be in laptop i can see

I love Madhavan, Avani! What a handsome cutie!😉 Loved him in 3 Idiots, Tanu Weds Manu, and Tanu Weds Manu Returns. Also heard that he was amazing in Sala Kaddoos.😳 I think he's always focused more on the films in the South. He doesn't reside in Mumbai either, right?

Yes Dazz he has done more south indian movies than in bollywood. But i think he resides in Mumbai.
He has done very strong roles in tamil movies. Also i loved him aa lover boy in Alaipayuthey which was remade as Saathiya. I cant watch Hindi one after watching Tamil version 😳

Oh, is Saathiya a remake of his movie ? I knew it was a remake but never knew he
was in the original.
You are right, remakes can never create the magic of the original. But I enjoyed Saathiya &
Vivek Oberoi too, having not watched the original.

I remember Bhool Bhuliya...I literally slept thru' it.
Although, apart from the super original (Telugu), the Kannada version was
excellent too 👍🏼 IMO.

I am ashamed of myself, totally forgot Madhavan in Rang de Basanti. Now that you mention,
I have to watch it again

Oh, that happens to me too Avani. I can't see it in another device for a while
after I make a change. No idea why???
Speaking of profile picture,..to both you & @Ami...it's time you guys put up something there.
It's starting to bother me now...😆 😆

Dazz, I am onto to Diyar E Dil. I will get to Humsafar later.
Like they say...Keep the best for the last.😉

I watched an episode of Dyar e Dil. Guess it takes a couple of episodes to get the feel
for the story. I also tried couple of others,.Kuch na Kaho & Naimat...didn't appeal much to me.
In fact after watching Fawad, I am having a hard time liking other leads.
Started Dyar e Dil because it has Sanam Saeed. Now that you mention about the leads,
I will Continue to watch...thanks so much for suggesting some really good shows😃

Hope others can join in as well, so we continue to discuss & keep the forum open & active.
as we await Mishal's next adventure as an artist 😳

It's OK Dazz. You don't have to apologize. Work can get hectic & tiring many a times.
I just wanted to know that you were fine. 🤗
Happens to me too. On really long days, I doze off as I am typing in a
comment sometimes...😆 😆.

Oh & in your spare time Dazz, you might try & watch this. Not sure if you have already
Watched it...Sid & Fawad on a show...quite entertaining
Enjoy !!

Naimat was one of the best dramas I've watched in a really long time aside from YKS. Even with Kuch Na Kaho, the story won't make sense to you until you get to the tenth episode. With both shows, you'll have to wait for both to progress even further to get a feel for the story and the performances. 😊 As for Dyar-e-Dil, the show has four leads (Mikaal, Sanam, Osman, and Maya) and close to 40 episodes if if I remember correctly. I'm not a fan of Sanam Saeed's. 😆 I don't find her attractive at all, but I know she's decent as an actress. I love Mikaal Zulfiqar, but for me Dyar-e-Dil was all about Osman and Maya. Mish, I've been hearing rave reviews about Pakistani movies as well these days. All of the actors from television are also doing films. They're just not on a grand scale like our films. Apparently, Mein Punjab Nahi Jaoongi is a really good movie and was a box office churner.

We could also watch their highly acclaimed films and have discussions here! 😳 What do you think?

PS - Fawad, Mahira, Humza Ali Abbasi, and Humaima Malick are doing a Punjabi film called Maula Jatt 2. It's apparently a sequel to a hit film from the 80s in Pakistan. A highly anticipated film due to Fawad and Mahira's reunion onscreen! As long as there are subtitles, we should be fine. 😉

PPS - Mishal is following Mehwish Hayat on Instagram. 😆 😆

Mish, here's a preview of Osman Khalid Butt and Maya Ali for you.

These are offscreen pictures of the two hanging out together. You can sense the chemistry between these two in these images. 😉 Lots and lots of speculation about their offscreen relationship. 😆 OKB is half French and amongst the most handsome in their industry. He speaks French so fluently! 😳 Maya Ali is drop dead gorgeous and in my opinion the prettiest actress there. I have such a deep desire to see Mishal and Maya work together some day. ☺️ After Eishu and Ekta Kaul of course! 🤣

You're not hurting anyone, Ami! 🤗 Feel free to ask any question you'd like. 😊 My personal perception is that marriage amongst cousins is more common in Pakistan than it is in India. I'm making this assumption off my own family who have all married non-relatives. Having said that, I think the reason people do get married within their family is because it's considered the "safest" option. It's much easier for a girl to adjust within her own family, her own upbringing, and her own culture than it is to adapt to a new house with different dynamics than her own. I'd imagine it would be same for the guy. 😳 Cousins are only considered half-blood, so there's no awkwardness in getting married to one another I'd assume. There's also a far less likelihood of divorce because of the involvement of the family and its reputation. I personally can't fathom the idea of getting married to one's cousin who's more or less your brother or sister. I don't see how they could ever form a romantic liaison. 🤔

Your reasoning makes sense. With the little knowledge i have about genetics, I think it is not good to get married in the same family line as can have birth defects... Somewhere read about this.

Thanks DAZZ for explaining this so nicely!
