Yakeen ke Safar ke baad bhi hummara new threads ka safar jarri hai!! 👏👏
I am not sure about the idea of a sequel... coz they covered everything in terms of story in this one. Having a sequel means that they have to show trouble in paradise .. which at this point ... not ready to see.

I rather have Sajal and Ahad in leads of Farhat Ishtiaq's new story... totally different from this one. Dont think sequels work great with Pakistani dramas, ans especially of masterpieces like Yakeen ka Safar

Ahad's tribune IV is so good ...you get a lot of insight on who Ahad is and how much passion he has for his work. A really good read!
No wonder Asfandyar left such a deep mark on all of us. Because Ahad became him and he knows that is why that character is such a hit now.

👏

Allah nazar se bachaye iss ladke ko...Ameen.

And I loved reading your write up too. So detailed and engaging...you brought out many things which I missed before.

For eg : Zubiya always runs away from her problems. That is very much true...she has always been doing that. Not saying it is a flaw or she is too weak or its a mistake...just that she never did.
She never did have that kind of atmosphere at home where she could learn to be brave. the only time she stood up for herself when that night when she was thrown out.

She accepted all the troubles life threw her way except this time when Rehan came back to her life once more. Rehan, for symbolizes, leaving/being thrown out of her home. And when she saw him again after so long, her inner instinct just told her to leave as she assumed Asfand would reject her or be disgusted with her.
She couldn't bear to see him and everyone else lose respect for her.

And yes I would have loved to see Asfand pull her out of the water...in fact when they showed him in all changed and in dry clothes, for a second I was like "Hain??" Did I miss a scene or something?

And respect to Dr. Asfandyar for respecting people whom he actually wants to punch in the face. Applause.

Hah! true...and the only reason, according to me, for him controlling his anger towards Rehan was because he was Zubiya's brother and Asfand respected Zubiya more than he was disgusted with Rehan.

Note : Have to mention that actor playing Rehan was also quite good in his role.

Once again, loved reading your post!

Thank you for your response Sidra!

Zubiya comes with nothing from her home than just pain, sorrow, and a fictional-pretending-perfect-world. Her father ignored her the whole life and had her caught in a house where she didn't get to see the outside. Her mother, inside the house, didn't introduce her anything but negativity about the outside. Both her parents were at fault when she was unaware of how the world functions or how to communicate with people. Her brother treated her as a little girl and as soon as that little girl fell, he stamped more upon her. Her bhabhi saw her as a competitor and a revenge jackpot. Not to mention the rest of the relatives, but I will give her khala the due respect. That woman was the only one trying to give her love and protection.

Seriously, that water scene would have been amazing, haha! Just imagine how he may have handled her, especially afterwards in the car. How did he drive while having an injured Zubiya in his hands or did he ran with her all the way to the hospital. That we will never know, xoxo gossip girl. < sorry, I felt tempted to that, haha.

Haina right! And not only Rehan but also Urooj. Especially Urooj. How he wanted to kill her. Uff I wanted to kill her. She killed Daniyal plus she was annoying and I didn't like her botox lips. Also a mention to Bahadur Khan who occasionally would piss Asfand off.

"Asfand respected Zubiya more than he was disgusted with Rehan." He definitely did and that is why he is so perfect. His honour and respect are greater than his hatred and anger. He proved that so many times. Hats off and bow down to that. Applause once again.
