I never get bored watching this serial. Characters make me relate to them ,specially new generation. their love, their dialogues are full of life. Rameen and Punar scene in her house was my fav. their chemistry , her personality, Punar looked dashing, but he was in no mood to give up on his revenge plans. when Rameen told him that she wasn't defending Bali, she was just trying to save Punar's life..that hit him hard, but he is very stubborn like his parents.
Precap is breath taking. can't wait to watch if Rameen will get to know who the real Bali is!

Am a bit busy hence, didn't get to post my thoughts on the last episode - will probably keep it short today, as well 😳 Enjoyed both episodes- some pointers for the last one: Farhad and Mahi need to work on their communication skills, lol. She doesn't really tell him anything hence, he doesn't fully understand her complex situation. But this way, they might end up resenting each other a little. As for Rameen-Punar, the scene in their house was lovely! Especially how determined Rameen is; she isn't denying that she has some feelings but she's determined not to let herself love him as long as the hatred inside of him outweighs everything else (though, that hatred is imported, lol).

So, today one of the truths eventually broke out. I can totally understand Rameen's reaction (especially after that painful conversation with Punar) - who wouldn't freak out after getting to know that a murderer is living in your home? And not just any murderer, but the man who murdered the father of your best friend and the guy you're quasi-in-love with? But poor Bali. You could see it in his eyes how Rameen's reaction and her words really broke him - more than he already was. Accepting to go to Dubai, at first... and that scene at Zohra's grave was just heart-breakingly beautiful 🥺 He wanted to live the rest of his life with his children, was even ready to compromise by living as their "uncle" but now that these same children are telling him to leave... what is there for him to live for? Though, I was glad he decided against going to Dubai and facing the Mehars head-on: that's what Bali does. He doesn't run away and he is capable of taking responsibility (even if he already has done that).

Rameen and Farhad confronting Jajji - kind of sweet, in a sad way, how Jajji was afraid they'd see him without his lenses but the moment Farhad talked disrespectfully about Bali, he just came out to give them a piece of his mind, lol. And I really enjoyed that scene! Jajji defending Bali, emphasizing the whole, "mera dhost" and finally, someone pointing out that Hukum wasn't exactly a dhood ka dulha hua, either! Of course, it might not justify having him killed the way he was killed; but as Jajji pointed out, unlike Hukum who killed many people but never faced the consequences for it, Bali killed one Hukum and served his punishment for it. And Farhad and Rameen were taken aback by the fact that Hukum was a murderer himself, lol. But alas, the damned question about his eyes couldn't have been ignored 😛

So, after seeing how Ansa Mehar Unnissa treated Mahi and told her to leave the room because this night, she would also hate her - yeah, she might be capable of killing her own daughter Farhad being Jajji's son was a bitter pill but finding out he is actually Bali's son? Mehro will take that as a war declaration. On that note, Mehar Chirag is a smart one, isn't he? Pointing out how the kids are actually Bali's in the precap; I assume that Rameen and Farhad will come to that conclusion after hearing who Jajji is, as well.

And I got to see one of the scenes from the OST I had been waiting for! 😆 Although, I assumed this one would happen after the biggest revelation but I am fine with how it played out- it was great! Bali declaring that he won't run away and will face Punar, and Punar coming in that exact moment and demanding for Bali to present himself. I love how Bali kept calling him "handome" and teaches him manners while telling him to kill him 🤣 They could develop quite an enjoyable bond once they move past this hatred hurdle! 😆 Coming to the crucial point: I doubt anyone even considered that Punar could go ahead with this (unlike his witch of a mother, lol) 😛 Rameen's words echoing through his head (and I think there were more factors to this like Mahi trying to get through to him for ages and Rameen's words just hitting a nerve inside of him) were a nice touch. But of course, Mamu Munir wouldn't be Mamu Munir if he wasn't a kameena - but I liked how Punar reacted the moment Mamu Munir shot- the deal was for Punar to serve the killing strike and no one else.

Bali smiling while bleeding out 😭

Precap: Can't wait! 😲 An even more emotional episode ahead!

Of course, Mehro wouldn't be Mehro if she couldn't taunt Punar for "failing" - aka being human. Like, c'mon, woman - why the hell are you never happy? Though, today they showed that Punar can be firm with his mother as well, if he has to be (for Mahi, indirectly, here) - hope to see more of that. And as Mehar Chirag said, you cannot compare Hukum to Punar, and parents shouldn't raise their kids to be like them, either.

And Jajji and the kids in the hospital. Seems like he didn't tell them at home who he was, but he is not denying anymore that he is Jajji. I am curious to see whether Jajji will react to the Mehars because of this incident or not (he put the guns away and tried to leave this life behind him, but in the OST, at the very end, we see him walking through the gallis, guns in hands and his goons with him, lol- curious to see what will prompt that). And Rameen's relief upon hearing that Punar didn't stab Bali 😆

Great episode! ❤️

And gr8 review by you @Shoutocake. I am sorry for reading it late . I've just watched this episode ..and although it was emotional I ended up with a big smilee on my face..like Bali..smile of relief. When Jajji declared he was Ijaz..I thought now the biggest truth will be revealed.
I am in love with Bali. and I am glad that I am watching this masterpiece. Actors, writing , dialogues ..all are spot on. I know now why is KRQ a big writer. He writes amazing one liners, and choses the right timing to break the next twist. he never fails. just when Mehru was happy that she'll get rid of Mahi truth of Bali living in Farhad's home came out..and all her plans changed. Also just when Bali accepted his faith and went to death, Punar had a change of heart, and love won hatered. Such an amazing twist!

Hey Awida!
Hope you doing good.@red...word about KRQ dramas.I know his plot are confusing but at the end the twist is worth watching.Yeah! I started watching it again. Most under rated drama of the year is laal ishq.I have watched it's first part landa bazar and that was very popular drama and sequel is very good as well.Yes the cast was not very impressive but as the drama went along, they leave you spell bound. It shows the effect good actors can have on the play, even when they are new.I heard the kids are living is actually the house of Kashif Mehmood. They decided to shoot the drama in his house. It's a fantastic play. The new comers look like they actually went to drama school and properly learned acting skills.👏

Agree . it is the most underrated drama on Pakistani tv. And you watched LB ? was is good? Each time I start watching I get confused then I stop..many characters and heavy dialogues. I don't understand Urdu well. so I give up easily.😆

Thanks for the infos. such a beautuful place to shoot the drama. Agree young actors are showing their talents. I am impressed by Abhi and the actress who plays Rameen. Faryal is good too..but sometimes she overacts. Arslan Idrees isn't my fav..and I couldn't push my self to accept him as Farhad. Yes he looks like Bali's son. but his acting and his voice are put off. As for old actors ..they're my favorites. specially Babar and Kashif.😳

Thanks! 😆 And no need to apologize, lol. As you see, even I am late to reply - but I wanted to reply before today's episode airs 🤣

Oh, yes, Bali's character is a real treat to watch! Babar Ali is one hell of an amazing actor (most of the others aren't bad, either). I think what makes me like Bali even more is just how the character is portrayed- the emphasis on him still suffering for what he did even after 22 years, even after her has served his sentence - it's just realistic. Whether the murdered person was a criminal or not, killing someone always affects you, at least if you are a good person with a conscience. Jail and such are punishments given by people, but the even greater punishment seems to come from within ourselves. And it just breaks your heart and you want to see him be released from his remorse. Hence, why Bali's smiling face (when thinking he was dying) made even us smile - he looked relieved, happy to be finally realsed from the grips of guilt and remorse.

Mehro ki kismat mei happiness likha hi nahi, lol! 😆 Though, I wonder whether she'll try to find another match for Mahi - in the OST, there was this clip of a guy standing close to Mahi and Mahi giving him weird looks. But either way, shadi Farhad's se hi hogi- and I hope Punar will support her in this (though, post-marriage, Mahi-Punar will talk to the phone and he seemed rather happy so!).

Punar gave in toward what his heart told him to (for now). I believe that getting revenge from Bali isn't even what he really wants; it's what has been fed to him since childhood, yes, but this is his mother's wish/order, in the end. It's not his own goal - he just has to admit it once and the hatred will die out completely. I want a Punar-Rameen scene now after she finds out he backed off from killing Bali 😆

Alas, the revelation happened, at last 😆 And, not surprisingly so, it happened it a different way than I would've thought! I must say, Master-ji is an intelligently crafted character, lol. The old age might be getting to him in the form of forgetfullness but his sharp mind comes to the forefront when needed- also happened when Punar and Mamu Munir met him wanting to know about Bali and he gave them a moral lecture 😆 Master-ji's questioning was what prompted Farhad and Rameen's thinking cells to jump to life. On that note, it's also nice to see someone coming forward on Bali's behalf - Mauju has supported Jajji this whole time and expected Bali to just accept the situation, so it was refreshing to see someone else step up for Bali and question Jajji's decisions. Though, of course, I also felt bad for Jajji in that moment. He's barely holding himself together as it is, his whole world's crumpling and everything just keeps going downhill

Farhad coming to the bitter conclusion himself was nicely done (though, the acting could've been a bit... more to the point?). Rameen refused to question, refused to think but Farhad couldn't stop thinking and everything just made sense to him in that moment. Also, he really came off as the older brother in this situation whereas it's usually Rameen who seems like the older one 😆 And the whole, "Don't ask Papa this or that, woh marr jaayenge" was a nice touch, as well. Their world is breaking apart as much as is Jajji's and still, Farhad has enough compassion and sense to consider Jajji and his feelings, probably already grasping why Jajji has kept lying to them. And Rameen's disbelief and the breaking down... 🥺 All this had an even stronger impact through Jajji listening in on them.

Thank God, though, that they didn't drag this 😆 Guess Rameen wouldn't be Rameen if she weren't straight-forward. They wanted to hear the truth which they had already figured out from Jajji's mouth, probably even hoping deep down that they are wrong. Rameen assuring Jajji that she'll forgive him no matter what, that he should just tell them truth once - of course, she'll be shattered, at first, but it gives hope that both of them will eventually calm down. Of course, Bali is their biological father and they should get to know him, build a relationship with him, but that doesn't they will have to froget everything Jajji did for them or what Jajji is to them - 22 years of nurture, raising, father-kids equation cannot be erased. That's how it is and should be. Though, Jajji's outburst was a bit harsh 😆 Guess his mind finally snapped and he just spew it out - there was this promo of Farhad asking Jajji whether he should stop calling him Pops (something along these lines) in a rather harsh (bitter?) kind of way and I thought, Damn, Jajji must have told them in a not-so-kind way.

Anyway, let's see how the story takes off from this point on. How will this change not just the family dynamics but also Rameen and Farhad's perception and behaviour toward the Mehars? Yesterday, Farhad said that Bali is nothing to them and why should they sully their relationship with the Mehars for him. Now, that they know that Bali is their father, am interested to see whether that mindset will change a little or not.

Other than that, I also liked how Punar kind of stood up to Mehro 😆 Usually, he keeps silent and just listens to her taunts and insults, but this time- his justification just slipping out of him and that, too, so strongly! Even Mehro seemed surprised by it 😆 And it showed that Punar has a rather high moral compass - not being able to kill someone who was already like the walking dead, broken and helpless, even though that man was his father's murderer. But ugh, of course someone had to make him feel guilty for even this and re-strengthen his resolve 🤔 Guess the next time he will meet Bali and try to kill him will be when Rameen will stand between them.

And Mehar Chirag explaining to patiently to Mehro what was so obvious 🤣 Yeah, that woman is definitely capable of killing her own daughter - not by mistake, but fully knowingly. Am still hoping that Mahi (or Rameen, whoever) won't die and that the burying scene from the OST was Mehro's, lol - but slim chances for that 😆

Anyway, this episode was Jajji-kids centric, totally! Now, can't wait for Rameen and Farhad to meet Bali again 😊

@Shoutocake. I love reading your review. I am yet to watch the epi. But it is a treat to read the characters motives and way of thinking from your pov. Those ppl became like my relatives who live far away. and reading about them always make me feel happy . I love Rameen and Punar. I want them to have a happy ending. I know Bali must die, but hopefully makers may spare his life for next season!. and I am sorry but I don't feel too much for Farhad/ Mahi as a couple. I though love Mahi and don't want her to get killed. Her mom is the worst mom in this world.

Just watched this episode . and it was very heart touching. for the first time I cried with Rameen and Farhad. their love for Jajji is unbelievable. Jajji gave them all the love, gave them his life. how can't he be their father?! .
Episode belongs to the trio : Jajji, Farhaad and Rameen. Yes even Farhaad has his moments. and I am surprised. Punar is ❤️. I couldn't imagine that he'll grow in me like this when I first watched the promos. all my attention was with the girls, and old cast.
I missed Bali in this epi. but next we'll see him taking jis responsibilities. I am praying that this doesn't mean that Jajji has to die. I can't watch this happening. 😭
