Not saying that it's bad, per se, a person is made of different qualities, some good others not so much. So, yeah, felt really bad for how she talked to Bali at breakfast... though, I do understand that she and Farhad might feel weirded out by a complete stranger living with them, all of a sudden, and wanting them to do such mundane things like speak English for him. It probably looks beyond silly for them, but she didn't have to be so mean about it. Right now, Farhad seems more likely to start liking Bali, first šŸ˜†

yeah Rameen can be rude at times but than I guess its just her nature she isnt evil jus savage and straight and i kinda really like her the way she is. But haan I really feel bad for Bali poor guy loves his kids so much and is overwhelmed seeing them and is getting attitude in return. But then I cant blame Rameen either imagine a random guy u never saw before walking into your home acting all senti with u is a quite strange and even a bit creepy specially for a girl. But i m looking forward to see how there relationship develops and Rameen and Farhat start liking Bali.

Jajji-Bali, uff, these two šŸ˜’ I do hope that Jajji doesn't die, lol- I want him to tell Rameen and Farhad the truth, it'd be better for everyone involved. As for Bali, I hope he can build a real connection with his children before this bomb is dropped on them. Somewhere deep down, they do seem to be feeling a pull toward him - let's see.

omg yesss Jajji and Bali scenes are <333 i really dont have words to describe last weeks whole episode made me so emotional because of there scenes. They are both brilliant actors plus the emotions loaded in their characters combines with the bg story made those scenes so worth watching uppar se OST lines "kaun hai yeh log zakham khaye hue" uff so so brilliant a real treat to watch.
I myself m really exited to see how Rameen n Farhat will find out about Bali not Jajji being their real Dad. There is a teaser in which Rameen and Farhat confront Jajji "oh toh aap Jajji hai humare baap nahi" so Jajji will def be alive but guess he will be hella broken seeing his kids find out the truth uff there is yet so much in this serial that one anticipates. I just cant wait to see all these scenes.

Mehars- I think Punar-Mahi are one of the few rare sibling-bonds (I mean, brother-sister) I really enjoy watching! It just comes off as genuine and strong and realistic. Have to give it to Mahi, it's not easy fighting with such a family - where you can say whatever you want, reason however you want, but they will just ignore it. Although, I do think that Mehar Chirag will eventually crumble. He cannot let go of his Hukum, true, but he has Punar and he sees Hukum in him, and as Mahi pointed out gets restless the moment Punar is out of his sight [I liked that whole scene of Mahi reasoning that Hukum had been wrong in trying to pursue Bali's fiancee and later lover, and Mehar Chirag's frustration and pain at his son being dead while Bali was alive]. So, I guess that the Dada-ji in him will win out, in the end. As for Mehro, she is dheet, lol. "Khuda toh maaf kar deta hai, lekin Maa mujhe kabhi bhi maaf nahi karegi" and Mahi pointing out that she is Hukum's wife more than their mother - says it all. I doubt she will give up šŸ¤” Maybe when she realizes how much she and her revenge's been ruining her kids' lives... but doubtful.

Punar and Mahis bond is my fav too! The connection they share being twins is being potrayed so well. I really really love their bond and scenes. I wish they would listen to Mahi and stop this revenge game its just gonna lead to more destruction.

Rameen-Punar scene, lol. Punar having fallen in love (although, I think it is more a "liking" which he knows can become love) was quick - reminds me of when Mehro told him that Ishq is something that happens instantly. Either way, she's being mean to him šŸ˜† Last episode mei hi toh uske baare mei soch kar she was laughing, but in front of him... poor guy looked like a kicked puppy šŸ˜†

I really wanna see how their story develops. Will Rameen fall for him too? Will Punaar mady fall in love with her or marry her out of some other reasons? Will Rameen marry him by choice or will he force her?? Oh god thisss serial has so much to offer I cant wait to see all these storys to develop. Been watching the OST and all Promos Teasers on repeat in hope to find sth new. Waiting every week is really a struggle.

Precap: Finally. Now, am curious how Bali will react to this revelation that his son's fiancee is Mehar Hukum's daughter! I am pretty sure that Bali will reveal himself to Punar, eventually (he was ready to get killed by him, wasn't he? lol) - but (as shown in the OST vid), Punar won't be able to bring himself to kill him (though, someone else will shoot, Mamu Munir?). But in-between kya hoga, am curious.

Yesss finally Bali will find out his son is engaged to Hookams daughter thats such a shocker actually no wonder he faints. Lets see how he reacts I think he will let the marriage happen for the happiness of his son and he doesnt hold any grudges with Hookams childrens its just Mehrunissa who hates everything and everyone related to Bali so m actually more exited to see how Mehrunissa will react once she finds out the guy she is getting her daughter married to is Balis son.

Btw, Rameen thinking of herself as Farhad's mother and Mahi saying that she sees her father in Punar (although, she surely behaves more like his mom) - found it amusing considering the pairings 🤣

haaha yess basically its Hookam and Zohra

This serial has so much too offer there are soo many scenes that i m badly anticipaiting:
- Rameen and Farhat finding out about Bali being there Dad and not Jajji
- Bali finding out about his son being engaged to Hookams daughter
- Mehrunissa finding out Farhat is Balis son
- Punaar and Rameens wedding and how it happened
- Bali beeing face to face with the Mehers
- Mehrunissa killing someone as shown in OST (which I believe is Mahi as later its also shown Punaar and Mamu Muneer buring her and Meher Chirag sitting in the car all being hurt and another scene where Farhat waking up shoked there room still decorated with flowers it might happen just few days after their wedding; driven by her maqsad of revenge Mehrunissa ne apni hi beti ki balli dedeni hai she has only one goal and thats getting revenge from Bali she is blinded by her hatret that she cant even see her own childrens happiness; Mahi is one of my fav characters and I as much as I hope its not her I m very sure its her; this revenge game will and could only lead to destruction I wonder who else will have to pay for it)

Laal Ishq is the only serial that I dont get bored of. The story has so many layers too unfold and the scenes in each episodes are loaded with emotions and brilliant dialogues that one stays hooked.
Such a great show and I will say it again its so so underrated deserves so much more appreciation.

@bold: I, too, thought that it might have been Mahi, at first. Later, started to consider Rameen post her marriage [though, now that I re-watched and you mentioned it, Mehar Chirag and Mamu Munir wouldn't react like that for Rameen, if the burial really was for the one whom Mehro kills. And Mahi being the murdered one would be kind of tragically poetic]. But really don't know what to think - I like both the girls, and them being killed would be just... And Punar and Farhad ke liye toh it'll be horrible whoever it will be. Am hoping that it's maybe a dream Mehro will have or the person doesn't really die, but what are the chances? Although, whatever it will be, maybe it'll give Punar the needed push to put his mom in her place.

As for the burial scene from the OST- I don't know, when I saw that, my first thought was it must be Mehro 🤣 Wishful thinking, maybe, lol, but I do think that this sage of blood-shed will only end with Mehro's death.

The Rameen-Punar marriage has me curious, as well, lol. Clearly, they will get married secretly if Mehro's reaction is anything to go by. Who knows, maybe Rameen and Mahi make a deal - 'cause Mahi is refusing to marry Farhad out of fear that something will happen to Punar the moment she leaves - so, Rameen agrees to take her place there and keep Mehro in check or something šŸ˜† Jo bhi ho, it'll be interesting to see and a longer journey, I am assuming.

Oh, and let me add something to your list regarding Bali coming face to face with the Mehars: The Punar-Bali scene in which Punar is about to stab him but can't bring himself to go ahead with it. There might be two, actually, one is in which he wants to shoot Bali but Rameen is standing in his way and Bali putting his hand on her head; so, at least she will come around, lol. I like the little interactions these two [Bali-Punar] had so far, btw, so I do hope they can move past this revenge, eventually šŸ˜†

And same, I don't get bored of this show. I hardly skip any scenes, either šŸ˜› Am liking all the aspects, the writing and characters plus their portrayals and the vast relationships they are exploring.

Edited: Some things added, lol.

@Izna and @Shoutocake. I am amazed by your analysis and reading between the lines. your predictions make sense..although I think Mehro will kill her daughter by mistake , she'll think that she is Rameen. coz I don't think any mom can be this cruel to her own daughter.
Well . this is like gr8 tragedies..Shekspare work..or maybe some of our Arab old stories before Islam. where family memmbers become enemies after a murder. like in an old Arab real story from Pre- Islamic Period which name is : Harb Al- Basus. In which a woman's brother killed her husband. then started a war between her brother's clan, and her bro in law clan. it lasts for 20 yrs before the woman's son killed his uncle ( his mom's bro who killed his father) . but war didn't end before 20 more yrs passed , coz the woman's bro in law wasn't satisfied. he lost many of his relatives in this war and wanted revenge!

I watched last epi of Landa bazar ..hukum said he forgave Bali for his own murder and chirag said the same so why meharu is so adamant that she doesn't even care her only son might get killed...and Bali already done his time ...
Although I still don't understand..Bali killed hukum on his wedding day so when he got married and had two children and when did he go to prison as chirag said to police leave him 😲

In prisons of western countries there is a rule which allows a prisoner to have some time with his wife . I doubt if this is the same in Pakistan.šŸ˜†
Also I am confused about Hukum's children. if they were born before his death they have to be elder than Bali's children . This is why I see it as a sequal not as a continues story from the previous part. I mean they took the characters and the murder . nothing else from Landa Bazar.😊

@awida: Thanks šŸ˜† And I hadn't considered an accidental murder of Mahi - it'd make sense. I mean, for all her faults, Mehro does seem to care for Mahi a little, at least. And killing her daughter by accident would definitely shake her up. As for those stories (pre-Islamic period ones), yeah, you always hear about such revenge tales getting too out of hand. I think these things are even a real problem in some areas in Pakistan (and probably elsewhere in the world), as well. Just sad :(

As awida said, I wouldn't see this as a direct continuation of Landa Bazaar. I think back then, no one even considered a sequel for the show hence, they tied up loose ends by Hukum forgiving Bali and Mehar Chirag, as well, and making it a complete story. Though, for this one, they probably altered some things to fit into a better flow of story-telling, other things we'll have to ignore :P - like, in a fanfiction, we'd say "alternative ending/continuation", lol šŸ˜†

I wonder why Farhad and Rameen didn't think more of Bali's reaction to finding out about Mahi being Hukum's daughter. Farhad, okay, abhi sadmey mei hai, but Rameen should've found it kind of weird, no? 😳 Though, I liked her interactions with Bali today more than the last one! Especially how she immediately ran toward him to make sure he was okay. And hah, when Farhad was ready to back off from his relationship with Mahi because, Mujhe sirf lagta hai ke Mahi ke beghair jee nahi paaunga, lekin mei jaanta hun ke Papa ke beghair marr jaaunga - I was already relishing their bond. In most shows I have come across of, you'd see the relationship between mother and her children, sisters, father-daughter, but such a sweet and lovely bond between father-son is quite rare (from the things I have watched, it's a subjective opinion). And today, both just... can you call it sulking? Not really, bete ka dil toota toh baap ko bhi dard mehsoos hua šŸ˜† But seriously, I wish Mahi would at least talk to Farhad! I mean, she explained her situation to Rameen- why not try to explain it to Farhad, as well, instead of just cutting off his calls? Give the poor guy some reassurance, woman šŸ˜†

Jaa, tumhe meri umar lag jaaye.
Shut up, yaar. Behen se suna hai udhaar nahi lete, tumse umar lunga toh fitte muh zindagi ka.
Can't get over how cute these sister-brother are! Though, that specific dialogue reminded me of our last discussion on here about whom Mehro might kill and it just... Poor Punar, he'll just - die, in a way, if anything happens to Mahi (and vice versa) 🄺 But yeah, a very sweet scene. One doesn't want to go because of her fear that the brother will die as soon as she's gone, and the other wants her to go because he's scared what the toxic atmosphere in their home might do to her.

Jajji and Bali just nailed it, as usual! I can't emphasize enough how much I love their angsty friendship. On that note, I was surprised at the reference to Farhad's fear of cockroaches and unwillingness to even kill them, and how that got explained - really didn't expect that! Not sure what to think of it but, I think Jajji wasn't wrong. He had been there, involved in fights and guns and violence, and saw what murder did to his best friend. And fearing that that same friend's blood might make his son equally hot-blooded... Also, just because Farhad isn't a macho and gunda types, but more soft-spoken and conscious of respecting life whether a human being's or an animal's doesn't make him any less of a man. Bali seemed to understand where Jajji was coming from hence, he didn't flip.

Hukum ki qabar pe jaaya kar (Jajji). Usse bataa, woh sirf ek baar marra hai. Mei - 22 saal se baar baar marr raha hun. And, Jail se bahaar aaya toh socha ke bachon se milun ga aur un ko gale se lagaaon ga kar kahun ga ke meri help karo, yaar. Baki baki jo (zindagi) bachi hai iss tara guzaar lun ke mei Zohra ko bataa sakun: Mei jee kar aaya hun, Zohra. Some things just won't leave us, especially if we murdered another person. And Bali's been feeling the repercussions ever since, and he'll keep living with this guilt and this suffering. But does that mean that he doesn't deserve any ounce of happiness, now? Especially since he has served his sentence, has been repenting for so long... yet, the past does not let go of us. Though, I surely hope he will get to feel some relief and happiness through his children, soon. Mehro won't forgive him, but Mahi already has and Punar will, as well, maybe that'll give him some room to breathe, too.

Mamu Munir is back 🤣 He is a kameena and a criminal but at least, family ka lehaaz karta hai thoda bohut, lol. And Punar, he looked cute when he called up Rameen - like a lost kid really desperate to find his way back home. But that opening line, Mere Dil se niklo šŸ˜† And the subsequent scene, Mamu, uss ne mera call kaat diya. - Aur sister ne meri gardan kaat di. 🤣 I enjoy Mamu Munir's scenes with Mehar Chirag and Punar!

The second Punar-Rameen scene was longer. Who would've thought the guy can come up with some good shayri lines šŸ˜† But you can feel his confusion, he wants her to leave his heart but equally wants her to talk to him and admit she feels something, as well. I think the lines which stood out most were something like, jo aap ke liye tadap rahe hai, kaal aap unke liye tadpenge - something like this, and Rameen's been affected by the call - her tadap might start soon, as well. Though, I know, Punar just called her so that he could cut off the call this time around šŸ˜›

Goli se bach gaya hun, Laadle. Ab maafi maang kar jaan leeloge? - I think Yawar Kamal is a brilliant character, as well! Wise with age (if I understood correctly, he, too, was once involved in this revenge, family-hatred kind of thing, in the prequel) and forgiving. I noticed it in the last episode, but in this one it was even more prominent that for him, it's not just about Bali; he is thinking about all their families, their coming generations and about Punar (whom he probably never expected to actually shoot hence, feeling more hurt by that than his actual wounds) - he is considering them all when he asks them to stop this senseless revenge track and just forgive, already. Although, Punar told his mother that even if Yawar Kamal comes in front of him he won't hesitate next time (and yeah, also nicely put forward that Punar could have shot him fatally but... couldn't bring himself to) - but I hope and I do think that those were just words.
And Fakhra took the cake- "(Ladki) kisi biwi bann jaaye toh phir ek ki biwi aur baakiyun ki Maa." 🤣 Poor Mamu Munir, got burnt badly - and Punar and Yawar Kamal enjoyed his plight too much šŸ˜†

Btw, am still of the opinion that Mahi will be able to crack down Mehar Chirag - he'll give in and let go of his revenge-thirst because for him, more than Hukum who is already dead, Punar who is alive in front him matters more.

Overall maybe a slow episode, but I don't know. It was story-builing, it was good and enjoyable, as usual, plus I love how the characters are explored and portrayed in each episode. You always see new shades, new sides, and it just draws you in šŸ˜†

Precap: Oh, well, that father-son match escalated quickly. Bali will get another backlash- though, understandably, from Farhad's point of view, he's a stranger trying to decide over his life. Although, I was thinking that Jajji will jump into the scene any moment now and slap him, I don't know why šŸ˜†
And Punar comes to their home and sees Bali 😲 He probably won't create a scene just now... but who knows. Curious to see how that'll play out!
