But why should Saher find someone else ?? Her and mustafa were good for each other and they loved each other. Mom in law got what she wanted by brainwashing , playing games with the couple and creating misunderstanding. Saher should be perfect meek bahu and that is what we will teach our daughters ??? Yes compromise, understanding, sharing responsibility is neeed in every marriage and things fall in to place with love,patience and compromises. Saher did that but it was her mom in law who was just unreasonably against her made things tough for couple and impossible for a girl who is not so quite and tolerant. Each person is diff and that is why world is colorful. Cant have all sahers and can't have all miss goody two shoe cousin either. In the entire show Saher is the only person wrong? No one else suffered but her There were times I found high holy cousin wrong too. Nothing wrong with preaching and being good person but sometimes dressing less like naukar and more like the rich housewife wouldn't have been so much trouble either. She was not right going to parties in a drab clothes. It wasn't about being strong person ... more like stubborn for no reason. Person can dress with out being reavealing but classy.

Just the point these shows make that anyone speaks their mind is wrong by society and by god .. just keep on suffering all possible tortures and accept every possible abuse is the real way of woman and makes them stronger. It's just wrong

I can't stand those women who blindly follow their mother for marital advice.. Hun, HE'S YOUR HUSBAND.. WHY IS YOUR MOTHER MAKING THE DECISIONS! That is why Seher suffers.

As for Mustafa, yes his mother was a pain, but he didn't blindly follow her. Remember when his mother tells him to do the paper marriage without telling Seher, he didn't. First he got her permission. He asked her if he should go to Dubai or not. He didn't even fight with her when she goes to her mother's home and starts working after he leaves. Mustafa was an amazing husband, but they were too blind to see that in the family politics.

Don't you see Mustafa suffering? You think finding rishta's is an easy task? Especially for a guy like Mustafa. Though he is a momma's boy, he is also the man of the house who was able to talk his mom into everything he wanted. He lost the one thing that mattered to him the most, his love...his wife... I see him suffering in the sense of that loss and having to bow down in front of his mother's wishes/choices. It was already decided that he was going to come back... and momma's boy couldn't go against his mother.

Kehte hain, Allah ke ghar der hain, andher nahi... If this was an indian soap, we would see his mother suffer in regrets, but its not. Because it's not in Mustafa's nature to torture women.. and this time he'd tell his mom off like she did to him (she's your choice to deal with it)-- but then this would drift away from the point of the show (AMANAT... betiyan bhoj nahi hoti... amanat ki achi take care karte hain so treat them as amanat, if it helps treat them good)

I agree about mustafa being a good husband. I take back when I say Saher suffered... meant to say the couple suffered.

I am happy to read this useful discussion. I am understanding the story better now, so your points of view @Cimba and @BC.

I didn't pay attention to Seher/Mustafe track till the last episode, Thats why I didn't really care for Seher. but now I feel for her too. Mustafa's mom and her own mom caused the tragic end of her lovestory . and both the lovers suffered in the end. but Seher was very stubborn. I wish she was a bit more caring and reflexible!

I agree that Tehzeeb sense of style sucks. and she's stubborn too about compromising it for her in laws. but she got away with it!😲 Now our dashing and handsome Sarosh will start wearing kurtas. like the black one which reminds me of Bekhudi!😆

Point is both were stubborn. One had slightly understanding in laws and money. But none the less she did not budge from her ways and all made to look good because she was god loving. That is a way of brain washing public.

Other is not a bad person. She actually was more like most of us. Easy to manipulate and over all she was sensible. She was broken by her money problems and her in laws ( mother and sister ). So in testing times she thought with heart and was emotionally sucked in to getting in obvious insecurities. It ended up back firing on couple. Saher gave her own life saving to husband for sister's wedding , did all household stuff while still working. She was happy go lucky till you mess with her.

Frankly speaking easy to deal with Saher in real life than tahzeeb. Tahzeeb is no better except 5 times namazi making all us fools.

In fact Tz started getting on my nerves by not being able to see by herself that she's married to a rich man. and she has to know how to make him proud of her instead of putting him down.

I just watched this episode and so agreed with you... she is getting on my nerves too..she should have get a nice dress from boutique and still could put dopatta on her head... like mom said conservative but elegant... what she was wearing like school dress.

Also why she is putting dopatta on head even in her bedroom with Sharos..too much!

But I completely agree on the part that Seher wasn't more stubborn as Tehzeeb. She was given a bad rep since the start. Because she worked from her own free will, found her own man, etc

whereas Tehzeeb ended up doing all the same things...

the only difference was that Even if Seher was as compromising and didn't listen to her mom, her in-Laws were out to get her from the start, whereas Tehzeeb's in-law's expected some changes/compromises they didn't want her marriage or life to suffer the same way.

edit: For example, the wedding night itself, Seher's Saas created drama of her being sick and constantly telling her son that he cared less for her : it was pure emotional blackmail. Or purposefully mixing sleeping pills in his food so he wouldn't be able to go pick his wife up...The saas was doing all this purposefully to break the marriage for Seher and Mustufa from the start.

If Tehzeeb was in that situation, she also wouldn't have compromised, as obvious as to how she broke her rishta from those greedy people who demanded to much Jaheez or Dowry and how she stood her ground and refused to change in front of Sarosh...

In the end, I think Seher's marriage breaking was more a punishment for her mom instead because she was always somewhat jealous and pushy

I am surprised that discussions here are more interesting than the serial itself!😆

I skipped Seher's story from the beginning. watched only for Noor , Rabab, and Sarosh' mom. Then Rabab made me bored as Tehzeeb who refused to change. But I really loved her caring, and forgiving nature. when she told Sarosh that she's not angry with him..and when she talks patiently with his mom who refused her help initially.

If Seher's role was played by another actress ..like Iqra or some of my favs ..I'd feel sorry for her. but Seher Afzal isn't my fav. although she did a gr8 job playing this role.

Was that the point of the show tho? because until you mentioned it, I would have thought I was watching a completely different show 😆

I always thought it was that you are only given one life, from Allah, It is an "amanat" and you have to live with that one life. Not if this, if that. you have only one life and that is it. whatever you do or your actions, they all have consequences 😕

really? I couldn't imagine Iqra or anyone else...I normally don't watch shows with this actress either, but I feel like she did justice to her role.

I too had no interest in her story. But it was the discussions on the previous page that made me rethink 😆
