I'm so excited for this! I had a feeling Adeel would be a part of this. I'm excited to see him & Sanam under MJ. I believe they'll star shooting towards the end of the year. Mehreen was looking for an apartment for filming.

Jawani Phir Nahi Aani and Ho Mann Jahan were shot in three months and Dekh magar pyar se in even shorter time so it is not taking that long now as compared to two years ago

Na maloom Afraad too shot in three months and released within the same year

I really hope she releases it within a year and Mehreen Jabbar's first film was interesting as well although it was low budget but story telling was good and cinematic feel was there

Bilal Lashari and Shoaib Mansoor are exceptional cases they will always be slow in releasing their films

I knew it! It had to have Adeel! Yess..love the cast. I'm going to watch this in theaters if it releases in NY! It will be shot in NYC too. The writer is Bilal Sami and ARY Films is the producer. Story is about love, friendship and relationships.

When I read about the news; I just had a feeling this would be it. Adeel is one of favorites and Mehreen brings out the best in him; plus she is a brilliant director as well.

Just not sold on Sanam, I would have gone with Saba. That would have been a much better casting imo.

Anyways fantastic news. When do they start the shooting, any ideas??

Jawaani Phir Nahi Aani took a while though, no? Ayesha and Sarwat were shooting there bits even a while ago. The problem is actually the post production phases. It's not the actual shooting, it's the post production phases that drag..I think it has to do with the fact that we're still getting used to the whole process when it comes to making quality films.

But yeah Bilal Lishari takes forever. He's kind of overrated too if you ask me.

Dekh Magar Pyar Se was perhaps made the quickest...but the trailer seemed so sloppy, maybe that's why lol

I just noticed your thread! Before I was going to post this, I double checked thinking maybe you had made one before? Lol..I'm so excited for this as well! I needed to see MJ's work on the big screen now. I had a strong feeling that it would have Adeel as well but then I kind of thought otherwise since they just did JH.

Has anyone seen Ramchand Pakistani?? Wasn't that made by Mehreen too?? I remember seeing with my cousins back in Islamabad. It was quite a decent movie.

Omggg I m so happy

Not jus coz I will get to see my all time fav couple Sanam Adeel again after SHUKK

It also has a stellar supporting cast

I miss atiqa odho a lot and she shud do more work given her role was the main in humsafar...I don't know why she does so less work ...thank god mehreen took her

Ali kazmi was amazing in Jackson heights ...so let's see what mehreen gives him now

If tooba means tooba siddiqui then I m surprised she is back onscreen after so long

And I wud luv to see Adeel with hareem again

Sometimes I wish it was a drama instead of a film ...that way it wud hv had more scenes and interactions among the cast

But nyways I do want the good drama directors a d writers to work on big screen as well coz that's the only way to mk quality cinema and represent pak talent

And last but not the least I. Can't thank her enuf for giving the male solo lead to Adeel

Adeel us on a roll it seems...after ho Mann jahan and the balle balle song in bin roye he is coming in another movie and not by the typical lollywood filmmaker who mks films like jailebee and wrong no but mehreen jabbar

This film will surely take pak cinema many notch higher and I m really looking forward to it ...

This news is like the best eid gift ever

The producer is ARY...ARY films. And I'm glad to see Adeel as a solo lead in a film too. I just hope he doesn't stop doing dramas now.

I would have loved to see Saba too! I wish Saba gets to work with Mehreen and vice versa. I'd be totally ecstatic if that ever happened. Mehreen has yet to work with so many leading actors..Saba, Fawad, Mikaal, Fahad etc. I think she even said she looks forward to working with them soon in an interview but not sure when it'd happen.
