there we go again!

Pak tv programmes are drama serials. Limited stufff like we had in the 80's and 90's. Most of Indian ones are soaps. Please quit forced comparisons. It comes across as mocking and are uncalled for. Thanks.

Aunn Zara is a lovely serial, and we are enjoying it.

We used to have these serials in the 80's ad 90's. Ours were all about limited episodes with definite stories. What you call dramas. Basically, a play with an end.
Soaps are unilmited. It can go on forever. The writers mind moves for a few episodes, and then is focussed on taking the story further. As a result, there is naturally a lot of nonsense that happens for bizarre twists, and the whole plot changing. These writers are completely different from authors and regular script writers. Its a different category altoegether at writing stage itself.
There was an article in our news about a year ago, about how many Pakistatnis are attending sessions here to learn how this works.
If you look at American soaps and serials, you will see the difference. Bold and the Beautiful is going on for more than 25 years now. Whereas Friends, Desperate Housewives, Suits etc, are serials with seasons.
You can compare your TV shows with ours of the previous decades - Malgudi Days, Nukkad, Fauji, etc. If you are going to compare with with the Ekta Kapoor's soaps or all the other stuff we have, its like comparing apples and oranges, and holds no water.

oh i didn't know this ZGH actor Fawad Khan was making his bollywood debut.. Hmm! Not bad. He definitely has looks and charm ... All the best to him. Its nice that India is open heartedly welcoming good talent irrespective of their belonging country and political issues associated with it.

BTW does the actress play Aunn's and Zaroon's mother? They often look identical although I'm unsure.

I love to see Aunn's desperation to get privacy from his family and time from Zara. 😆 And Zara's often shy smile in front of him!! 😃
