So the promo for Mera Naseeb came on TV and I thought I would watch it (as I didn't want to revise =P) but I ended up watching it all on Youtube because it was so good!

There were some parts which I didn't like, but the show was overall brilliant!

Wondering if you had any recommendations?

This was my first time watching a Pakistani Serial btw, and it seems they have better characterisations =P

You have a long list of shows to watch then..here are a few that I can remember from the top of my head:

Humsafar.
Zindagi Gulzar Hai.
Dastaan.
Mera Yaqeen.

I thought I wouldn't be able to understand it as there were no subtitles on the Youtube versions but it was okay!

I've added all the names that you guys told me onto my to-watch list! Mera Naseeb took me a day to watch (that is, delaying my revision 🤣)

Dastaan sounds good! Might start with that!

I'm from the UK but my parents are from Bangladesh, so I speak Bengali :)

Hi, I too watched the first episode of Mera Naseeb, intend to watch it through..
Have to say, I saw the last episode of Humsafar yesterday on Rishtey/colors
cried my eyes out.. its not so much the ending.. more so it was the end of my first Pakistani serial.. it was fantastic.. I ONLY hope that Mera Naseeb too keeps me hooked..
Pakistani serials seem true to life,to me in presentation, without gloss, focusing more on plot and dialogues..

All I have to say is welcome to the club you all!!

I am so glad that pakistani serials are receiving the limelight they once used to have...way before star plus invaded our lives(not mine)...i remember how my Indian friends used to ask for our drama serials cassettes like we asked for their movies. =)
