Starc and Watson were after Wahab when he was batting. Wahab only did the same to them when they came out to bat and rightfully so. Aussies are known for sledging other teams.

True.

I'm still somewhat upset about us losing to Australia by the way. When you think about it, Australia weren't the stronger team that day..Pakistan was just playing pathetically. We could have easily won had a.) we batted well b.) fielded well - both things unknown to Pakistan cricket now...but Australia did not look threatening as I was expecting them to look. Starc was only the real threat. I still get pissed off when I look back at how Afridi played in particularly. I swear I thought that Afridi was going to bat sensibly considering we had like 20 overs to go. I feel he deliberately played the way he did. I find Afridi really shrewd to be honest. Did you ever notice how when he took over captaincy, he actually put some efforts into his performances? Like you mentioned, he was the highest wicket taker during the 2011 world cup..he even led the team to the SFs during the 2010 or so T20 world cup. Misbah, Wahab and Sarfaraz were the only players who showed intent..others were there on vacation it seemed.

Misbah retiring is a bigger loss to us than that moron, Afridi who has played 400 ODIs. No other international team would have tolerated Afridi for this long but us.

Afridi.. the lesser said the better.. Forget batting sensibly. I wonder what was stopping them from taking that damn powerplay.
We all know batting patiently is not his forte, against his nature.. but he could have atleast tried.

Now, either Shoaib Malik will be brought into the team and will be made the captian, or Sarfraz's name is being considered I have heard.

Afridi could've been what Mccullum is currently for New Zealand. He came in and set up a foundation for NZ to chase down 298. Afridi had his rare once in 2 years performance where he was a match winner but there's no way this guy deserved to play 400 ODIs for Pakistan. He makes it to the list of the most appearances ever to be made in ODIs yet was a mediocre player at best throughout his 19 years of cricket. Pakistan took the powerplay the very next over I thin - LOL. Afridi has no brains, now he can continue appearing in his shampoo commercials because his hair is still as shiny and attractive. The only consistent thing I've seen throughout his entire career.

I don't think any of these young players should be given captaincy right off the bat. Why wasn't Misbah grooming anyone throughout his 4 yrs as captain? I hear names like Maqsood being considered - lol what the hell. Malik currently doesn't make it to the playing 11, so him becoming captain would be extremely odd but the only positive out of that is he some brain cells to lead a side. If not him, then maybe Hafeez..and ask them to appoint Sarfaraz as vice captain.

Afridi also needs to be kicked out from T20. I don't want to see him coming back as captain in T20..that would be a joke. He needs to be shown the door.
