Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan was an over the top play overall. There wasn't much to the drama. & yes I do think Ayesha & Sanam weren't at their best in that show.

However, here there's a totally different plot & by a way better writer. I expect certain things from certain people when I watch a drama. Here my expectations are from Umera & Sarmad. Personally I love the characterization of every character within this play & despite that I do see certain scenes flawed because of the acting that I've seen in certain episodes..& that as a viewer does leave me disappointed because I think the story & direction is pretty awesome.

& no, in my opinion so far she hasn't done better as Falak..her performance as Khirad was definitely a notch higher.

let alone Mahira and Naveen as newcomers even Sanam who was considerably more experienced was OTT in KPKPBT and Akbari Asghari so was Ayesha Khan in KPKPBT

and these same people were amazing in some of the other characters...so that has nothing to do with experience in my opinion

Agreed Mahira was a bit OTT in some scenes but in others she did amazingly well much better than Humsafar

n along wid Sez, this has also happened in other dramas...lyk in Qaide tanhaai...OST mei sara pata chal jata hai ke wo dono alag hoyein ge aur phir budhe ho ker mil jatey hain n all...also in Ishq junoon deewangi's OST

I may too later on because I wanna see what's different within the novel...but I kind of didn't feel all that interested after seeing the OST's video..it really did reveal a lot...but, yes because it's Umera there should still be a lot to look forward to within the novel & drama.
