Vikram seems to Love to Manipulate people for his own need . Last time it was Ayaan and Now Naaz .
No wonder Imaan is furious at him in the Precap .
Though It was Naaz decision at the end to go , but Vikram did initiated it , as this time it was more of Personal Need of his .
His probably last chance to rectify the mistake that happened 17 yrs back .
Last chance to mend relationships and Family .

Iman's reason to not let go Naaz to Karachi , I felt was quite Natural and his reaction to Shaira's Indo-Pak friendship relation too..
We often say about maintaining good relations with Neighboring Country ...but the Soldiers/POW's knows what they have gone through and how it makes them Bitter towards that Country .
Though that is Imaan's issue and he have no right to not let go Naaz there .
But I still understood his reservations .

I LOVED Siddhant-Sadiq scene...so well Executed and so well Enacted .
Both Afreen and Siddhant "The Actors" were to the Point there ...

Til this moment I was sure that Siddhant is Siddhant and he has not changed his Loyalties but the later part made me again doubt him 😆.

I feel its a trap set by him and Lala for Vikram and Co .

1. Continous routine Walk of Siddhant and sending signals ...and moreover these walk has always been Initiated by Lala .
2. Lala denying Yusuf offer to get Hospitalized in Islamabad Hospital ...and now options are Karachi and Lahore and like Lala said "Aakhri faisla mera hoga".
3. Afreen's question to Sadiq as to what is cooking between him and Lala .
4 Sadiq's "Asli plan kyaa hain , koi nahin jaanta" ...

All these reaaon are making me doubt Siddhant's intention ...

Though I am still not satisfied with the reason given behind his Transformation .
It could also be that he is double -crossing Lala 😕😆

Sadiq can predict what Vikram and co are going to do and This can turn out to be really Dangerous .

The actress Playing Afreen is doing Great Job , She LOOKS the Part and ACTS the part .
Yest in the scene where Yusuf was complaining to Lala , she had her eyes on Sadiq , trying to read what's going on his Mind , searching for Answer if he is Loyal or not .
And yes her's .."SIDDHANT" was Brilliant, what Expressions there ...Pause and She calls out SIDDHANT .

Sadiq looked more like cold blooded murderer yesterday .
Aurag is Rocking as usual ...😎 👏

Sartaj-Harleen would have been better in Manali only ... sorry ..

Bigger actions require greater motivations .. Naaz didn't have a strong MOTIVE to go to Pakistan and Vikram gave her one, "SALIM".. Vikram played well.. 👏

About Siddhant, just keeping my fingers crossed .. 😆 😆

Btw, that caps scene... Till Afreen kept asking Sadiq to stop, he didn't .. He calmed down only once Afreen called him Siddhant.. So, this should be still in his favor... 😛

Thanks for the caps .. 😊

I am just hoping for Sidhanth to be Sidhanth. I have fallen in love with his character and I wouldn't wanna be in love with a terrorist (LOL)
And of course, I want a Shobha - Sid reunion ❤️

Since my post is relevant here too... Just copy pasting from the other thread. Sorry to disappoint all Siddhant fans, but my prediction is that he is not going to be the patriotic one. My two cents follow:

****

I watched again...

And the foreshadowing with Afreen's character calling him Sadiq/Siddhant suggests that Siddhant is not Siddhant but Sadiq.

Go back to yesterday's episode. Check the fight between Sadiq and Yusuf. When Sadiq has an upper hand over Yusuf and is tightening the noose around Yusuf's neck... they showed Sadiq having flashes of him being beaten to death by Sartaj. He only saw that. And he felt an anger, that he fed into his fight with Yusuf. Hence Afreen shouting Sadiq did not help because it just fuelled his anger more.

But Afreen has understood that the only way she can appeal to the human in him is when she calls him Siddhant (who is lost somewhere deep inside this new Sadiq), and its only then that his flashes change and he sees himself as not the person who was tortured but the soldier he was originally. the editing is so beautiful that his life as Siddhant a person is a mere hit and miss glimpse. So his family... does not appear much in his thoughts, its only him as a soldier.

I really am convinced that Sadiq is really Sadiq, and he is working on Operation Badshah in all honesty. That is why he was smiling yesterday when he gave lala the two options of Lahore and Karachi, he knew it there and then, that Lala will pick Karachi, as both of them were watching the Nazneen Khan drama unfolding behind them on the TV. He is counting on the Indian army to send a message through Nazneen, he will take their help and come to India as Siddhant, but will become Sadiq once he is here and unleash havoc when he gets here.

The above, comes from what I read of Gazal Thakur (the one who plays Shaira) on instagram, where she was praising Rasika Duggal (the one who plays the role of Siddhant's Sister) for giving a performance of a lifetime. I am sure, that as Siddhant's sister she can give a performance of a lifetime only when she has to choose between two unchoosable options. When she would have to reject the only person she has ever loved like a mad woman (her brother - so much so that she never forgave Vikram Singh, and never married him, for failing Siddhant) and do the right thing - save him by killing him/or something equally drastic. Its somewhat like what Wolverine did in Xmen III to Jean. Killed the bad part of Jean to deliver the good part of Jean to death and let her rest in peace. Perhaps Shobha will finally make the choice of killing Sadiq, so she can allow Siddhant to live in her memories, eternally.

If this story goes the typical Indian soldier - patriotic till he dies - it won't be dramatic enough. He has to turn.

Hence I feel Sadiq is going to be Sadiq, and not a closet Siddhant.

It is highly possible and this thought has crossed my mind several times as I have already stated in a post somewhere above but it would be disheartening to see SID turn out to be Sadiq coz he doesn't have any strong reason to change...I will prefer a satisfying ending over drama any day and I hope that Sid overpowers Sadiq in the end...I feel he will be at crossroads though and he will find it tough to leave Afreen behind is what I feel...my fingers are crossed that he turns out to be our Sid only...he deserves a happy ending and so does his di.
It would be very filmy if they go the way that Shobha has to make the decision to kill him in the end..it would be upsetting to say the least...show hasn't given any strong reason so far that would justify Sid turning to sadiq...Yes he felt disappointed that Sartaj chose Imaan but as he himself stated that they had come to a conclusion that if the situation demands then they both will choose Imaan since he was their senior and a man who felt so bad when Hussain got killed can no way harm innocent people is what I feel.

And I interpreted yesterday's scene differently...I thought Sid did not listen to Afreen when he kept calling him Sadiq since he do not associate himself with that name..
Deep down he is Siddhant and not Sadiq...he responded only when Afreen called him Siddhant coz that is who he is deep down

I know there is a huge possibility that the plot twist will be that Sid is Sadiq and was carrying out mission Badshah all along..I just wish he has a change of heart at the end and SIDDHANT THAKUR overpowers Sadiq. ONCE A SOLDIER ALWAYS A SOLDIER
All 3 P.o.W.s deserve a happy ending.

I don't go by the adage - Once a soldier always a soldier.

That is too much pressure to put on any human being. One does not know what a person becomes, until one is in their shoes living their life. I don't feel Shobha being made to kill her brother is filmy at all. Filmy is when choices are easy, not when they are hard.

As for Afreen, I do not think Sadiq is in love with her. Though I do feel the only person he felt affectionate towards was Hussain. There is more to this Afreen - Sadiq relationship that I can't put my finger on. Sadiq stares at her quite weirdly when they have their dialogues. Its not normal. Not even romantic. He is always wary around her, and his eyes are like glass when he stares at her. You cannot make out even one emotion when he looks at her.

As for the reason for him to turn... I don't think it is betrayal of Sartaj. I think the captivity did a number on him. I think he turned in despair, when he was taken to lala's house for recuperation. The fact that his surface wounds were tended to, but not his deeper emotional ones. Those were only fed hatred and indoctrination. And in all that when he physically revived, Siddhant got buried deep inside with no hope to ever come back.

Perhaps it is the knowing that for Siddhant to survive he needed to die and a Sadiq was to be born.

Well it is true that soldiers are humans too and we can't even what they go through but it is also true that one cannot match their undying love for their nation and their grit and iron will
I do not think that torture could have broken Siddhant..not from what we have seen so far...he was quite strong...In fact he lost hope when he was forced to beat Imaan and Sartaj his own fellow soldiers...he DID NOT give up due to the torture...he was the one who used to challenge the Pakistani soldiers.
Torture did not change him ! He lost hope when Imaan and Sartaj and him had to beat each other...he even told them to meet his sister that he fought bravely.

He used survival tactics when he was at lala's place coz they were necessary to help him survive.

I feel that he genuine feels for Afreen and he will realise this once he will reach a point where he will have to leave her behind then he will realise how important she has become...even their song depicted the same...the boundaries do will not be able to break their bond...Ishq hawa song which is based on their relation signifies that we are humans and can fall in love with another irrespective of the boundaries.

I don't think Siddhant had to die for Sadiq to be born.
In my opinion Siddhant had to be burried/hidden behind Sadiq's mask for him to survive.

I know what ur saying is quite plausible but I am a sucker for happy endings ans after all this I want Sid to reunite with his sister and have a happy ending. And I will root for him till d very end 😊

frankly, only in that song' 'ishq hawa hai' i saw some emotions in his eyes for afreen , never after their marriage 😛

do you see any scope for redemption if sadiq is indeed sadiq ? i hope there wont be any cliched filmy scene like sister killing brother 😕 IMO, if he in the end agrees to bust the terror network of lala and co with our IB and RAW , then a tragic ending can be avoided
