Making an analysis after a long time because Siddhant gave me an interesting perspective.
First I am loving the way Siddhant is placed in the show. His name Siddhant means established truth and Sadiq as Lala says one who is trustworthy.
I would say this man is about truth. What is the truth. His life itself has to be that. Absolute truth. Yes he is an Indian, bought up by his sister.
By becoming Sadiq can he forget that truth, truth that he is Sobha Thakur's brother, the brother on whom his sister is proud.
But then can Siddhant ignore the fact that he was indeed nursed back to health by Lala and his family. Can he ignore the innocent love of Hussain.

Answer is no. He knows a Indian family loving and caring. He has also seen a Pakistan family. Loving and caring. If in India it is about relations, in Pakistan also it is about relations.

But then the established truth of India is different from established truth of Pakistan. It is india's truth and it is Pakistan's truth and in between these truths somewhere lies the absolute truth.

And only a person who has experienced both sides can hit the bulls eye to establish this absolute truth for both sides so that there is no India's truth and there is no Pakisthani truth, but there is only one truth which is same to both India and Pakistan, which only a person who has read both Bhagavad Gita and Quran can tell.

Superb analysis!!👏

I agree the names they used for Sid, both Siddhant and Sadiq, also have a very deep meaning for this character.

We just have to wait and watch what version of the truth will Siddhant accept when he finally has to choose.

@Megha Siddhant choice is very tough. Just like the coin of Sholay Movie. He will get what he wants, because that coin which Jai tosses has only one thing on both sides 😃

Superb post!
Bhagavad Gita and Quran contains the eternal truth. We fail to accept it in its totality. Religious barriers that has been created, that has destroyed peace, that questions the very humanity just because we live in two countries has to change.

@sid will bring the relations and emotions dont have borders. The condition of Afreen is same as that of Naaz.
When he sees Rohan he is reminded of Hussain. For Rohan he is friend, but for Hussain it is dushman. Was he really. No right. He was also Hussain's friend.

People manipulate the feelings for personal gains on both sides , that is what he is going to tell
