Making an analysis after a long time because Siddhant gave me an interesting perspective.
First I am loving the way Siddhant is placed in the show. His name Siddhant means established truth and Sadiq as Lala says one who is trustworthy.
I would say this man is about truth. What is the truth. His life itself has to be that. Absolute truth. Yes he is an Indian, bought up by his sister.
By becoming Sadiq can he forget that truth, truth that he is Sobha Thakur's brother, the brother on whom his sister is proud.
But then can Siddhant ignore the fact that he was indeed nursed back to health by Lala and his family. Can he ignore the innocent love of Hussain.
Answer is no. He knows a Indian family loving and caring. He has also seen a Pakistan family. Loving and caring. If in India it is about relations, in Pakistan also it is about relations.
But then the established truth of India is different from established truth of Pakistan. It is india's truth and it is Pakistan's truth and in between these truths somewhere lies the absolute truth.
And only a person who has experienced both sides can hit the bulls eye to establish this absolute truth for both sides so that there is no India's truth and there is no Pakisthani truth, but there is only one truth which is same to both India and Pakistan, which only a person who has read both Bhagavad Gita and Quran can tell.
