With each week that passes by, my love for this show just keeps increasing. The promos were pretty intriguing but I never reckoned that I'd watch the show at all. I just thought I'd give it a shot and boy am I obsessed with this show now. I've been a silent reader in this forum and I finally decided to make a post.
P.O.W is by far one of the finest, I could go on to say THE finest, shows that the Indian Television has ever made. The script and characters have been so beautifully written. The actors are doing a brilliant job. Each and every one of them portray their roles with such finesse. Their emotions are so raw and when they are pain, I can feel their pain too. Such is the calibre of acting. They always manage to leave me spell bound. They are also being backed by a wonderfully written clean cut script, direction, music and cinematography. The story has drama, action, suspense, friendship, relationships and whatnot. What makes it perfect is that all these elements have been meshed well together and I think that is the beauty of this show. The background scores blend so well with every scene. Ah! I could go on about this show. What saddens me is that shows such as P.O.W do not get the recognition (TRPs) it deserves. People would rather watch these never ending, rather pointless and unrealistic saas-bahu sagas than a realistic one.
