Thanks SueAkka, Kadhambari for your nice compliments on the Black eyed peas vada!!

Thanks Vani for your comments/Compliments on all the recent recipes.
You are very welcome for the same. It's my great pleasure to share them with you all... I'm very happy to read that the recipes you tried are winning applause from your folks!! Your comment about your brother '... Carrot halwa tasting like kesari....' 😆

Thanks Kavi for posting the Black eyed peas picture. And your Kesari looks yummy! After eating too much cakes & sweets lately (Bday, Anniversary Plus New year celebrations... 😃 ), I was trying to pass a week without any sweet! - Now you tempted me to make one..! 😊 Tomorrow will be making something... 😃

TENDER COCONUT SABJI

Ingredients:
1 cup of tender coconut cut into pieces.
10 cashew nuts ground to paste
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 tsp tumeric powder
2 tsp chillie powder more if you like
tsp garam masala powder
cup of chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
2 tbs of oil or ghee

Method:
Heat a wok, add the ghee and add in the chopped onions.
Saut well till lightly brown,
Add in the tumeric powder, chillie powder and garam masala.
Stir well, add in the salt and the tomatoes.
Now add in the cashew nut paste and stir well.
Once the tomatoes have become mushy,
Add in a cup of water the chopped tender coconut pieces
And the coriander leaves. Let it boil once and remove.
Serve it with pulao or chappati.
This dish has a unique taste of cashew, tomato and coconut.

Caryn, thanks for the comments.

Ambi, I am glad the dish came out well.

Ambi try the tender coconut, the flesh is not that sweet, moreover we have tomatoes and chillie powder. It tasted nice for me.
