Ok, got it, so split second is his book -
i have read only these 2. I liked Absolute Power
a lot - gripping story - drama unfolding fast, keeps
you on the edge of the chair!!

have you read another auther ...john jakes???
he writes sagas...his most famous is a triology north and south, continued by love and war and finally heaven and hell....it was also made into a mini series starring patrick swazy and george scott...about two families...one a yankee 9george scott) and his best friend a southerner, plantation owner (patrick swazy) and their friendship spanning 40 years and three generations
