Dear Friends 🤗, Its our pleasure to welcome you all to India-forums.com Tamil Section. Having been launched on April 05th of 2007, the Tamil Channel has come a long way and just recently celebrated its third anniversariy successfully! The channel consists of over 12 different sections from a number of Serials (including Sun TV, Vijay TV and Kalaignar TV shows) to South Indian Cinema to various fun filled activities. We have recently launched our Welcom to Tamil Section - Introduction Thread. Please join the thread to introduce yourself. As a new year starts and an old one ends,
We contemplate what brought us joy,
And we think of our loved ones and our friends. Recalling all the happy times,
Remembering how they enriched our lives,
We reflect upon who really counts,
As the fresh and bright new year arrives. By Joanna Fuchs As 2010 comes to an end, we are about to close a book where many chapters were written. Many memorable moments were encripted within these chapters. hence let us walk down the memory lane to cherish all the moments we've hand on India-forums.com during the year 2010. There were days when we cried together, but as we think of it now, it makes us laugh, while there were days when we laughed together as a family here, bringing tears of joy as we remember.

It feels as it if was yesterday that we entered 2010 with a bang, as we celebrated New Years and Tamil Thai Pongal. Our members were in for a pleasant surprise when an interview with the lead actor , Sanjeev, from the tamil serial Thirumathi Selvam was organized! Members flocked into ask their favorite star questions. On January 15th 2010, our Channel Moderator had conducted and interview with Actor Sanjeev through the phone. Few days later, we launched the interivew in our first ever Tamil FM Radio Show! It was a grand success and members enjoyed the interview and most importantly our CM Atina's contagious laughter. A few months later in March of 2010, it was a proud moment at India-forums.com Tamil Section to welcome Aaha Enna Rusi fame Chef Jacob shortly after he set the Guinness record. He had shared many photos with us and interacted with our members who are fond of cooking! Shortly after, the IPL fever hit our forum, as many of us gathered on the thread whild watching it live. Many other members from different setions also joined us. Most of the games were followed very religiously, and it was a proud moment for many of us when Chennai Super King won. More than serials, this session made us realize the possible fan folloing for sports as well.
On April 1st 2010, two of the active Tamil Section DTs, with the help of two others, played a prank on Tamil Section members. Many not realizing that it was near the April fools day, were convinced that the two active DTs would leave them forever. They were stunned by the sudden decisions... Some expressed their anger while some were sad. The two evil DTs continued their prank till IF time hit 12:00 noon. The two Evil DTs were supposedly gone, and then they came with different forum ID. It was a laughing riot for some, while others were ready to kill the two. Others weren't fond of the new names that the two had created for themselves. The two Evil Dts spend their time pacifying their loved ones, but their efforts went in vain, as they are subjected to rotten tomatoes and eggs. April 4th, 2010 marks the second death anniversay of our beloved member and friend, Vinu, who left us forever, leaving an emptiness in the heart. As many recall, she was a funfilled, fun-loving person who made everyone smile. Her departure was one of the reasons that made us all closer than before. A day later, on April 5th 2010, India-forums.com Tamil Secton celebrated its 3rd Birthday! This is day is a special one for many of us as, since without this day and the sheer hardwork of CM Atina, we wouldn't be here today. It serves as a day to be thankful to all those who have helped our home grow further.... it is indeed a memorable one for all!

On May 4th, 2010, one of our talented writers and former development team member, mathi_azhagi (previously known as nallu) gave birth to our prince. It was a joyful moment for many of us, as we became aunts and dadis/ paati 😳. A month later, came the FIFA world cup fever... and many IFians from tamil section made bets on the forum. Like IPL, many watched the games together online to cheer when their team won or pacify when the unfortunate happened. In the meantime, a few of our Development Team members residing in South India had the chance to catch up with their families ⭐️! During August 2010, India-forums.com tamil section was proud to launch our second pre-recorded interview with the lead actor of popular Tamil serial Thendral, Deepak. The members were given the opportunity to ask their favorite star vairous questions, which reached upto 50. Once the interview was conducted it was published exclusively for members of India-forums.com. It was an ecstatic moment for India-forums.com members as it made us all even more closer to Actor Deepak.

Furthermore, on August 05, 2010, India-forums.com Tamil Section celebrated the 300th episode of the Tamil Serial Uravugal, along with the Uravugal cast and crew. From some of our forum members to many leading stars from chinnathirai, many were present at the event. The production team members, Gurbaran Sir, Varneshwar, and Actor Kalaimamani Amara Sigamani Sir shared the events photos exclusively with us. The same month saw another important auspicious event take place. It was the wedding of Actor Kalaimamani Amara Sigamani Sir's son, Parthibhan to his childhood sweetherat, Shalini. Parthiban had been a member of india-forums.com for over an year by then. But a surprise awatied the remainder of the Tamil Section Members. Our dearest Kalaimamani Amara Sigamani Sir had invited all of us here at India-forums.com personally to the wedding and reception. We were ecstatic and some were fortunate to be at the wedding and the reception, representing the rest of us. Later, the wedding pictures were posted exclusively for India-forums.com members. This moment made us realize how close our section has gotten! A few days later, three members from India-forums.com had their first ever rendezvous in Chennai, India on August 28th, 2010. With our Tamil Channel growing bigger, many new sections, we got new additions to our Development team members on September 17th 2010. Shortly after, the first pre-recorded Tamil Raio Show was launched in our Tamil Section, where members get to request their favorite songs. Simultaenously, IF Tamil Section was launched on Facebook as well as Youtube. Individual Page for Thendral was launched, which led to many members to connect with us. On November 12, 2010, Actor Kalaimamani Amara Sigamani Sir celebrated pre-recorded Tamil Raio Show his birthday with members of India-forums.com. Most importantly, many cast and crew members from the tamil serial, Uravugal, also joined the event through their voice messages given to CM Atina. Roughly about a month later on December 07, 2010, Thendral forum celebrated the show's 1st year anniversary with a grand feast. All in all, this has been a fruitiful year, where many new members have joined our family and we have initiated many new activities and projects that have been a success. Most importantly, many new members have joined the Updating Team, and all of them have worked hard to provide lovely updates 👏👏👏. Without the support of our updaters and our members, our year wouldn't have been as successful. Thank you all! COMING UP NEXT

Since the year 2010 has came to end, I owe "Thank You" to few friends so lemme start with:

* All of my friends who always lend me a helping hand whenever I need you all and always being there for me...love ya guys🤗🤗

Year 2009 was the toughest year of all but still IF and my sweet friends here were always there for me🤗.. As I always mention it was 'My Angels' who guided me through the right path and taught me more and more daily.

IF gave me a new family.I got many sisters here but GGG3 who introduced me to Tamil Section was my first friend in IF😳... Then came Meli(Aahana),Nallu(Mathi_Azhagi) and later on Aishuma (MP_Radha).I still rem our times of chat on Yahoo.. It was fun and we were enjoying sp by the way I was sodhapifying while telling the time😆. Meli & Aishuma, who guided me and encouraged me.

Meli's PM about doing 'Thangam' Update made me join for my first Sun TV Serial Update and here I am as one of the Coolbies of Thangam.. This is all because of the love and support I got from my dear ones and our lovely members. Its their comments which turned to be the secret of my Updating Engery ('Boost is the Secret of my Energy' mathiri)

Aishuma helped me with my doubts on various topics. It was very much fun to do Meli's 'Taang Keetchin' Bday thread for 2009 and also Aishu's bday thread (where I joined Meli as her partner in giving Aapu )but in 2010, unfortunately it was my health which stopped me from being a part of it..(I really missed the fun of being a part of the Aapu Meli Chellam and Aishuma.aana innum nerayave bdays irukke, Ippo I'm a part of the Bday team also.. 😈).

Year 2009 was not that good for me but on the positive side it gave me the best times with my dear Aishuma on IF and MSN.She was always there taking care of me.. I was acutally like a small child who was lost and was holding on to Aishuma's finger as she was guiding me towards wht I am today.. Love you ma and Thank you for always being there for me...

I got a sweet Akka in Shreenithi who i call as Shreeyakka (our sweet Thaadi Mama😉).. It was her comments and PMs which made me ROLF all the time..' Imsai Makkal 23 Pazhikesigal' gave me two other sister My Mangu Akka(srima) and Vasu Anna(tasnime)😳.. I had loads of fun being a part of Imsai Makkal..

2010 will always be unforgettable for me as it helped me meet my dear ones who I was dying to see..I really pray that the coming year lets me meet the ones I missed to meet last year.

I am IF's Anjali only because of all my angels here.. Thank you all so much for being there for me🤗.. I am looking forward to learn more and more from you all😳.

Thank you so much Aishuma and Meli Sweety for such a lovely thread👏⭐️. I am so lucky to be a part of this. Thanks a lot for giving me a chance to do something for the new year🤗. A Big Thanks to the whole team for giving us such a lovely treat for New Year.
