KYPH 3rd Anniversary.....Lovely Memories

March 29, 2005:

Started our most favorite serial ever.....at least mine. 😳😆

It was the best Love story ....with the Hottest couple ever seen on TV.

Everything about the beginning was magic, Kripa's entrance, Angad's entrance, the music, the passion, the fights, the romance. It kept us hooked for 1 1/2 years and when it ended we cried buckets for it.

we are still obsessing about it after 3 years. I tried to move on to other shows but not a single one charmed me like this one had. 😭

He has done films, ad films and music videos. But wasn't noticed until he boarded the Ekta Kapoor bandwagon. Sapana Patil spoke to Mohammad Iqbal Khan aka Angad of Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai.

How was life before 'Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai'?
I had no money and I did not want to take it from my parents. I did jobs.

How did the first film Funtoosh happen?
I was working in a production house that was making AgniPankh. They offered me a role in Funtoosh. Then I acted in Bullet and did ads for ICICI and Fun Republic.

You weren't noticed in your earlier ventures. What are your expectations from Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai?
I have no expectations. My duty is to work. I am doing my job.

Is acting your passion or just a profession?
It is my profession. I make my living out of it. It is also my passion.

If you weren't an actor, what would you be?
I can't think of anything other than acting. I am not the one who can do studies (laughs).

What is your academic background?
I am a college dropout. I left college halfway to go to Switzerland to do a music video called Kuch Dil Ne Kaha with Raima Sen.

Do you like to be seen on TV or on the big screen?
I like to act. The medium used to reach people, does not matter. Television is big these days. Look at the Kahaani people. They get mobbed wherever they go.

Has your fan following increased?
I don't know. I have been shooting 25 hours out of 24 hours. I have absolutely no time.

Just thought of posting a note on what the high points of KYPY could be.....more like a future prediction for the serial!

Angad and Kripa Meet - This is going to happen in the current week itself, so we don't have to wait long! Since KYPH is a love story, the meeting of the two protogonists is going to be a crucial point in the story, hope its a romantic, sweet kind of a bumping-into-each-other routine, where the love-struck Kripa and the Man of the World Angad meet!

Angad befriends Kripa - I am just assuming that Angad will be friendly towards Kripa, more because he sees her as an amusing distraction from the type of girls he meets normally. Kripa is already obsessed with him, so anyway Angad won't have to try hard at all. But overall, it will be very interesting to see the opposites getting to be friends!

Kripa expresses her love - Falsely assuming that Angad too is in love with her, Kripa will probably in all innocence express her feelings to him and he will take her for a ''good ride'' around the moon!

Kripa realizes the truth of Angad - Oh God, this is Ekta's pet thing, a highly emotional and dramatic scene, where Angad will shatter Kripa's love-filled heart into a thousand pieces! I am imagining this to be a volatile situation, somewhere on the line of the movie ''Maine Pyar Kiya'' where Salman Khan's dad insults and throws out Bhagyashree and her father swears vengence on Sallu's family! Battle lines will be drawn after this confrontation!

Angad realizes his love for Kripa - Turning point of the story.....expect in true Ekta Kapoor style, that Angad turns into a temporary Devdas and goes after Kripa to win her back, but the table have turned!

Entry of Prithvi - The third angle of the triangle, Kripa's buddy and weeping pillow, will in all probability fall for Kripa, who still loves Angad but refuses to say so! Prithvi might be the reason for Angad realizing his love for Kripa!

Kripa turns into a Star - Yeah, this is a straight rip off from the movie Taal! Kripa will turn into a singing sensation, and give the royal thumbs down to Angad, who will lose his stardom following his broken heart!

.....................Can't use my imagination further, since the serial has just began, if it was a normal serial from a normal Production House, then I could have predicted the end by saying that Angad and Kripa will get together after many trials and tribulations or that Prithvi and Kripa would have got married and given the boo-boo to Angad, but since it is dear Ms. Kapoor's brain-child, one can never say what might happen😉

My memo?

Let's see: First time I saw KYPH was in December. I think PK's naughty scene was going on, so I changed the channel. I didn't watch it. I was only 15 at that time. 😆😳 Besides, an aunt of mine told my mom not to let us watch it. Since "it's not for us". Yeah ... 🤣 But I didn't even use to watch serials ... I mean indian channels. Wasn't interested. I think she said it for Jenny. 😆😆

I thought Neha wasn't good looking at all ... Yes ... I did ...

Then I think in Jan/Feb ... I was going thru channels and KYPH was on. It was AK's party episode after the long seperation. That was the first time I noticed Neha. I thought she was pretty. She started growing on me ...

In no time, I got addicted to KYPH. I did online search and came across IF. I saw the whole series online in 2 months. Can you believe that? 😆 😆 😆

In the meantime, I got to learn a lot of stuff. Like Dinky21 aka Iqbalkfans (now) is Sneha Khan. I heard Iqbal and Neha's IF interview. Got a lot of info from it. I did not like Sneha from the first day ... I'd this instinct feeling. 😆

I used to like Iqbal though ... just for those couple of months.

Anyways ... when I finished watching the whole series ... I have noticed there was not even one topic where Neha Bamb not used to get bashed. I noticed Sneha used to bash her with QK and all. I figured out why and all ...

I started protecting Neha ... and then came other Neha-ians. A lot of Neha fans started protecting for their and Neha's right. The real Neha-ians were born. Even tho Pallavi, Muniza, Monu were already there ... From there I made a lot of good friends too. Rest is history. I'm sure everyone knows ... I mean old users ... what happened afterwards. 😆😆

Let me also tell you ... Then came Jenny ... SHE USED TO HATE NEHA Yes, you guys read it right and KYPH (tho she still hates it for Iqbal 😆)... she was always like ... why do you like this show, blah blah blah ... then I don't know what happened to her ... if she want ... she will tell you her story.

😆😆 She was right! KYPH has too many adult themes and scenes. Jenny shd not have watched when she was so young! 😆

ahhhhhhhh KYPH OMG started three years ago, i feel old 😆

u know i liked KYPH promo's looked good, i thought iqqu was buff i thought neha was cute i knew dey'd make a great couple 😃 😃 😃

as usual my eternal fight with my bruva's for control of da remote prevented me from watching da first few episodes coz every1 else wanted to watch kareena kareena on ZeeTv

but yyeshhhhhh dat one evening wen i had da control n by chance i put it on sony a lil early lyk at 7.30 or 7.45 n KYPH was on n it was da rabba rabba concert episode 😃 😃 😃

and since then my bruva's let me watch KYPH repeats n den wen kareena kareena went crap we used to watch KYPH regular all da way till da end, if i missed an epi i wud watch da repeat, or record it n watch it later

den i googled KYPH an came accross IF, n den i use 2 read da wirtten updates at uni

my sisters use to call me mad mad mad even now coz im still krazzy over it even tho it finished ages ago, now my bruva is a KIT freak 😆 😆 😆

i really loved iqqu in them days more than neha but i thought they were da best couple and eventually i liked both equally and obviouslt now da scales have seriously tipped 2wards neha coz she's my fav now 😃 😃 and iqqu well 😕 😕

i initially preffered kripa n prithvi jodi coz i luv amit in II n den AK jodi just grew on me n has stuck with me ever since coz der scenes n chemistry were off da scales 👏 👏

no other serial has gotten me as hooked as i was on KYPH no other josi has me hooked lyk how i am on AK/IN but i do lyk shahi n prem-mukti jodi 😛
