Facts first...Star/Meditech knew Iqbal was post balalji, so why sign him on and then bring this on..This opens them for a lawsuit, now I know one thing for sure Star being such lucrative company there are not stupid.

The article on the financial deal with Balaji, correct me If I am wrong Star is bigger than Balaji, so why let Balaji control their broadcasting.

Even if this proves to be wrong, then I will say this to both Star and Balaji that they are truely unprofessionals and they need to be regulated. Iqbal took a career break of 4 months because he was exhausted and heading for a burn out. In this view he would have harmed the production house and himself. So I would say wise decision to recharge your batteries. What better way of taking the break alongside getting married.

Finally if this is Ekta's doing then, mayaji concentrate on your show and storylines, we are interested in that, we don't give a hoot about ur pettiness,arrogance and temper tantrums, please don't waste our time on that.

Star one has struck gold with signing Iqbal, now they will be too stupid to let this one go😛

As for those laughing and thinking great bring Iqbal down, think again, we will see who has the last laugh. Iqbal our duas are with you at all times, we will pray you are succesfull, you kick @ss mate!!!

lastly but surely Iqbaliaans are not going to sit duck and watch anybody mess around with their star, we can put our point accross in classy way like our man!

its media industry...u cant leave in the middle of the show 4 marriage- no sorry u dunt leave 4 so many months,esspecially when ur the lead.and essp when the show just barely started.people are getting used 2 one person...the main lead.and his role as shiv was going so good also.people were so accostumed to seeing him with gauri...and then just leaving like that...new channels will obviously tread around carefully while hiring him...i dunt kno.maybe other actors has taken the same route iq has also i wuldnt kno.but this wasnt too unexpected...

i agree wid u jess.......i watched kaa only bec of iqqqqqqqqqqqqq. after he left the show kaa lost it's charm.........👎🏼 they tried hard, but yash tonk cudn't take his place n then the trp went down drastically i have seen many stars who take leave for their marriage n honeymoon, but it's lyk for a week or so.........4 months??? 😕😕😕 stars come backkkkkkk n then everything is in the rite place 😆......but iq not returning to kaa has given the show a lotta lossssssssss

I would still say KAA started going down the drain when the kundali storyline was introduced and it got worse from there, yes Iqs left but actors dont make or break a show, its the storyline.

viewers were left confused, whether it was kundali/death/leaps/affairs/no continueity between the leaps and characters... from a different concept and simple story it ended up a saas-bahu-girlfriend saga...

if you want to play the blame game, then i would say blame the writers...KTH continued after Rajeev left...KAA needs a stronger storyline, thats all 😉

Two years ago Murdoch (owner of Star) signed a multi-crore deal with Ekta (I forgot the exact amount) as her serials were the mainstay of Star Plus! Star One is more a subsidiary channel with game shows, comedies,chat shows,etc. Star Plus is the main one with the popular serials and Ekta rules over that channel. If the new show was coming at 9:30 it would have clashed with her premier show KSBKBT! 😉
Anyways most ppl in India dont even have Star One! 😆 😆

Ekta doesnt forget or forgive that easily, any actor who leaves her in the lurch like that is going to have a hard time professionally. 😉
Taking 10-15 days off for wedding break is common in Balaji actors but not 2-3 months!
Even Hiten-Gauri got 10 days I think for wedding and honeymoon although Hiten is one of her busiest actors! 😃

not playing blame game on iq.but pple hate/like story 4 different reasons.maybe they luved it 4 iq and after iq went away the charm went away also.being a true iqbal-ian u kno what iq meant 4 kaa fans rittee😛even if it was 4 kyph do u think anyone else culdve taken over angad or zaibs role and pple wuls still like the show as much?no so trps going low is his fault as well as teh kaa storyline na...
