We've been unabashed about the fact that we love Koffee with Karan, but there is no one more disappointed than us with the finale episode that was aired over the weekend.

It was way too serious and not in tune with the usual tongue-in-cheek banter at all. Also, we thought the 'esteemed' jury was biased.
We believe Amitabh Bachchan deserved the coffee hamper, just as much as he deserves our rage for picking Black over Sholay in his rapid-fire round.
Also, there was way too much of "Sanjay, (Bhansali) would you like to say anything to Amitabh and Shah Rukh that you haven't said before?", "Kajol, would you like to say anything to SRK and AB?" "Shah Rukh would you like to say something to Bhansali?" Aaaaaaaargh!
Everyone was going overboard praising the other and we were begging for insulin shots after it was over. Sugar Syrup with Karan would have been a more fitting title for the frothy finale.
But we did like some things on the show. Kajol for one. And Jaya Bachchan.
P.S. We definitely prefer Karan as the host. SRK should've quizzed Bachchan on his own time. Ramblings on prime time are a definite no-no.
