Suit hurdle for 'Time Bomb' |

Televisionpoint.com Team The Telecast of Zee TV's upcoming thriller, 'Time Bomb', has hit a hurdle. News Corp promoted Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation has moved to the Delhi High and alleged that the serial was a copied version of its ongoing serial titled '24'. 'Time Bomb' is slated for launch on 20 June, Monday. Justice B.D. Ahmed issued a notice to Zee Telefilms Ltd on a lawsuit filed by Twentieth Century Fox alleging that the concept of 'Time Bomb' was based upon its TV serial 24, starring Emmy award nominee Keifer Sutherland. Justice Ahmed directed Zee Telefilms to submit a compact disc of the proposed serial on Monday. Refusing to stay the launch of the Zee thriller slated for June 20, the court asked the Zee TV to file its reply before Monday. FOX said that early this year its representatives had met Subash Chandra, of Zee Telefilms, regarding purchasing the rights of the serial '24', but FOX said it would not sell the rights. |
